Bitcoin is not yet legal in our country. Even then, a small number of people use Bitcoin. I also want to learn how to use Bitcoin. I don't have much money. But to learn, I thought I would learn how to use Bitcoin with a small amount. And I am also interested in learning the technical aspects of Bitcoin. There is no one around me who can teach me all the functions of Bitcoin hands-on. So I want to discuss with you and learn in detail.

How do I start using Bitcoin?

What do people use Bitcoin for?

What are Bitcoin Core, Node, Op Return? And what is their relationship with Bitcoin?

In a word, I want to learn the technical aspects starting from using Bitcoin. What should I do? I am informing you about one thing: I am completely new.

I'll add an important concept:

- "Not your keys, not your coins": With Bitcoin you can create as many wallets/addresses as you want. Access to these wallets depends on a key ("private key" in cryptography).
You get your keys when you use personal wallets: BitcoinCore, Electrum, TrustWallet.
But you don't get keys when you let a third party to manage your wallets/addresses (Coinbase, Kraken, Binance, or any other centralized exchange).

Bitcoin is not yet legal in our country. Even then, a small number of people use Bitcoin. I also want to learn how to use Bitcoin.

If Bitcoin isn't yet legal there, it makes some sense to try to earn some without paying for it and there are a few places to do thst. If it's outright illegal, it might still be risky though.

How do I start using Bitcoin?

Faucets still exist and you can use other places to try to earn some - like selling a service. It's harder to get started though .

What do people use Bitcoin for?

Many hold Bitcoin as an investment, many use it as a currency and means of trade. It's proven itself already to be a good hedge against inflation.

What are Bitcoin Core, Node, Op Return? And what is their relationship with Bitcoin?

Bitcoin Core was the original software released by Bitcoin's creator Satoshi (it's changed names a few times).

Bitcoin Core allows you to maintain a wallet and run a node. It's not the only wallet software, there are others like Electrum or hardware wallets. Nodes are the backbone of the network and are used to propagate transactions and the Blockchain, they also do some level of validation.

In a word, I want to learn the technical aspects starting from using Bitcoin. What should I do? I am informing you about one thing: I am completely new.

Start with the white paper. Check some beginners topics here, videos on YouTube or other areas or the Bitcoin Wiki.
