I agree with a lot of things you write. I'm one of the many people, who hates mental and physical pain and hates stepping out of the comfort zone. Growing as a person is all about increasing your pain tolerance and getting used to discomfort and stress. I kinda disagree with the "no easy way" part. Some people became rich by finding shortcuts and having connections with the right people. All this "work hard" mindset is very important, but millions of people around the world never found any success despite putting lots of hard work.

I may agree with the fact that there's no easy way, but everything is possible if you put hard work into it, or much better, be wiser and smart in every decision making.

I absolutely agree with slapper, I don't know what made you think otherwise. The traditional path of working a job 9-5, for 30 years, relying totally on your state pension, is not a safe path anymore. You ought to think out of the box, if you want to make money. This path used to be a lot more secure in the past, but nowadays with inflation & higher taxes, it's not worth it. The job market is so cooked, that you might as well go follow your dream.

That does not contradict the OP. There is no easy way to create a successful business. It takes a lot of work. You will have to suffer regardless, so at least suffer for a better purpose.

People have been looking for shortcut to financial sustainable freedom but this is hard to tell because even if you are able to fight poverty and you are not able to maintain the wealth that you have, you can lose everything is you poorly supervised your investments and another person take up the duty.

There is no freedom in wealth because you will have to maintain it employing workers to work with you and build your business for you. If anything goes wrong and you are not able to fix the problem due to having poor management staffs that are killing your business and investment, wealth can be reduced due to debt incurred.

The job market is cooked in some sectors, but not all. Completely writing off skilled labor or trades is a mistake. The key is to not rely solely on any one thing not just a job, not just a pension, not just crypto. Diversify your skills and income streams. Bitcoin can be one pillar of that, a business another, a job another. All-in on anything is risky.

Everyone is trying hard so they and their families won't suffer from the hard times, like medical emergency, accidents, lose, hacks, etc. These periods gives hard times that we really suffer.
