I get exactly where you’re coming from, and I honestly concur with most of the things you’ve said here. When a person has built a particular mindset about Bitcoin, whether the mindset is based on the fact that they initially never liked bitcoin, or was due to a couple of awful experiences they’ve had with Bitcoin, it’s almost impossible to reverse that mindset.

You’re also not wrong about those who sold at a loss carrying an emotional scar. This is the same thing that came to my mind reading the Op. The fact that this kind of conspiracy usually appears when the market is struggling tells a lot. This is probably coming from someone that invested without caution. The present market condition is testing his faith but the dude already lost his faith seeing his money disappear into thin air.
