I remember there was someone treat Bitcoin like a job, and now there's a thread with the same discussion again.

I'm sure you're talking about signature campaign because this is maybe the easiest way for unskilled person to get paid via online and have a possibility for long term prospect.

If you mean trading, not everyone can able to earn, only small amount of people are profitable. If you mean staking or something like that, it require a lot of money, which is unrealistic.

If I have an option either signature campaign or business, I will choose business, unfortunately I don't have a business yet.

When you talk about considering Bitcoin as a job, you get me confuse, do you mean trading Bitcoin or investing in Bitcoin. But either way, solely depending on Bitcoin for income generation can be quite risky. If you’re trading Bitcoin, there’s no guarantee that you’ll be in profit all the time, so how are you gonna generate income in times that you’re not in profit? And even those who invest in Bitcoin still needs a lot of time, possibly like at least 5 to 10 years in order to reach a position where you can live off your Bitcoin investment, but if you’re still in your accumulation stage or a trader, you definitely need other sources of income to support your cash flow.

Usually it happens in the places where people meet and care about each other, think about each other, in big cities, your neighbor might not give any F what you are doing, or the person at the end of the road won't even know what your name is.

In short it happens in small communities, villages.

Now if you can't tell them what you do, just rent a office, and move your work there, do work from there, people would know you are not at home, because how they know you are at home, they either look at you, sees you, doing nothing and sleeping at day, because most of the work people do online the do at night.

So better to solve the problem, it is not a big one, and moving to an office, a workplace, or a internet cafe, can boost our energy too, and even if we are working at home and being our own boss, that does not mean our energy is low, we are better than many. I am not in this we, haha.

To be able to invest in bitcoin and for those who also trade it you will still need money to start with depending on how much you want to start with then it could be alot, bitcoin trading involves too much risk but for bitcoin investment on the long term profits don't come quickly so anyone doing it will definitely need a means to get money for them to be able to sustain themselves until their investment starts generating good profit and that takes time to achieve, so yes a bitcoin investor also needs a different source of income to keep their daily life running.

I think if there was job opportunities somewhere, then it wouldn’t look like most youths prefers online remote jobs, I know there are people who go most likely still engage in this remote jobs, and still go out to their business because they don’t only rely on a single job payment or one source of Income for survival, I have seen a situation where people stay home and work from home and it still seems like they are jobless and doing nothing, and what you’re calling yahoo or whatever you call it might actually not be related to bitcoin, because most people will feel that whatever that has to do with bitcoin is a scam, but they have no knowledge that this things are actually legal why they feel it’s illegal, at the end of the day people are a only interested in making money which is why they choose and are interested in making this investment for themselves.

I think because of the mentality of the African society, mixing the both is better, having a btc related job online or investing in btc and also having a business outside.

The fact that the person is working his ass off to earn money contradicts your statement.  Lazy people are those who do nothing but laze around and are not productive.  Besides, the term work from home is already a norm in some places and many companies allow this kind of arrangement because the job can be done even if at home.

Bitcoin isn't a job, it's a cryptocurrency. But there are jobs that it has generated and why would you think of it as something as lazy? there's still a lot of taboo when people work at home.

BTC is not a job... It is a digital currency... It's either you are trading it or doing some kind of business transactions with it which eventually will be online ... People definitely will definitely prefer online jobs that pay in BTC because they tend to be mostly remote so you can work anywhere, and they also sometimes tend to pay higher compare to daily hustle with the same work input... I personally will choose an online job that pays me in BTC over daily physical hustle..

We are in a world where everything has turned digital, so seeing yourself already being part of it and able to make some certain decisions is a great privilege. I will chose to work from home and remotely than going out to work everyday.

Some may be time consuming and hectic, but rewards are always worth the efforts putting into the work. Bitcoin was able to pave way for cross border payment and working from home has now become more easier and stress free than before and you’ll have no third party involved before finally receiving the money in your full custody.

Street business and hustling are already designed systems we met, we may as well find another alternative to it as everyone is looking for the best possible way to earn a living. The outside may have already being saturated, so staying indoors working and still making that dollars is worth everything and sacrifices in it.

Any of this I have to do, I will do it, whether  it's to become a bitcoin trader who does not go out, or choose a profession that will have me leaving my comfort zone every blessed day...

There are lots of different people with different careers, we all must not be doing exactly the same thing, those who work outside their comfort zone will exist and while those who work withing or inside their comfort zone also exists as well.. Working condition or what a person does for a living isn't what is important, the most important thing is that the end goal is being achieved..

But personally though, I will prefer working online, staying indoors and making money than go out there to hustle, and the reason is because when it comes to making money, there are various opportunities available online, such opportunities may not or never be available offline..

Depends on what you are implying, prefer btc like how? trading it? Because that’s not the only way to benefit from btc. Lots of merchants accept btc as money too and btc only people prefer those merchants and those mercs make a killing because of that. You can have a normal retail or online store/business that accepts  btc as payment and still make a killing. If you mean you want to quit your job and trade btc, then i would advise against it because trading btc is not an easy task and many people lost their life savings trying to get rich. It is not a cultural thing in Africa for somebody not to go out and work, so when you are always inside the house, let's say you are a crypto trader, some persons might like describe you to be involved in Yahoo which is online fraud, because in the African communal set up everybody tends to know the jobs their neighbors do to survive. But in reality You can actually be a crypto trader and still be into business, none is stopping you from the other.

I am hoping those people could come into cryptocurrency and have the experience of how lazy they think a cryptocurrency trader or investor could be because they don't see him waking up early to work in suit with a suitcase in hand doing the traditional 5-9 jobs. Should we be concerned about what people would say about what we do for a living in as much as what we're doing is legit, but just because it's not what they know, then we would worrying in vain.

Whether you want to do physical business or invest into crypto assets. You would have to assess the risks involved, is it what you can bear or risk your funds and, what is the depth of your knowledge to be able to navigate and make the right decisions to drastically reduce loss and be  sure of potential profit. Is having BTC a Job?

Well if you ask me, I don't I can class it as a job that someone would feed on although when you talk about trading Bitcoin on a daily basis as business well I can't really say but I think even that isn't something that's guaranteed. Bitcoin investment is something that you do or grow for future purposes and it's not something that would yield profit immediately and even at that it's advisable to get a paying job so that you can use the discretionary fund from your work to invest and its alway better to hold or aim your bitcoin investment for long term term plan. Having a Bitcoin investment doesn't give you the privilege to be lazy or doesn't mean you are lazy, trading crypto in general on a daily is no joke and only serious minded people can do that.

That's just an outdated means of survival or working, today the world has evolved and everything is on the internet so this days people can stay home working from home it's not remote but just the mere fact that some people in some part of the word do not agree with the new concept of work so you can be considered to be involved in so many things just because you're doing things there own ways, but however personally I prefer not to move out just working from home but remind bitcoin is not a job is just money and holding it only gives you profit when it increases in price.

Bitcoin is a decentralized method of performing transaction, not a job. Bitcoin is money and you can earn it either as a miner or you are doing online jobs that pays you in bitcoins. Bitcoin is not a major means of survival because a lot of people are using it for investment purposes that they intend to take their profits in the long term but what we call a means of survival at things we do to make ends meet. In this digital age, i wonder why someone will see those who works online from their homes as people who are into frauds (yahoo). If you are into bitcoin investment and trading, it doesn't mean you should discard your physical jobs. Perhaps, it's from those physical jobs that you can raise funds to invest in bitcoin or trade.
