However, sometimes people think that when they bring in $1 and win $100, then lose again, they'll consider their loss to be only $1. If that's based on the capital they brought, that's true, but based on what you said, I agree that they were losing $100 at the time.
And actually, this can be one way to encourage us to withdraw, because when we think that what's in our balance is ours, we'll be reluctant to lose that money again. So perhaps this mindset can be tried to avoid greed in gambling as well.
But even though the money in the casino wallet can be considered ours, it's not wrong to say it still belongs to the casino because it's still in the wallet. The money will be completely ours once it's in our account. This is confusing, but from a loss perspective, I don't think it's a pure loss because the only money we truly own is $1. To avoid greed, we should actually consider that the profits we've already earned are more than enough. Perhaps that way, we won't think twice about cashing out.

If you bet a $1 and you win $100 but you lose it all again the next round you bet, is it really your money that you lost even though you just won that $100? More like you lost the potential of having that amount of money which is why it hurts but if we are being honest it should be easy to move on because that money did not exactly come from your own wallet. Do you find yourself harder to move on if you lose money from a huge win even if you just bet only a small amount?
Whatever the case, a negative aftertaste still lingers after a loss. Why? It's because greed took over and caused the entire sum to be lost. After all, that money could have been withdrawn and used to buy something, right? But that didn't happen. The easy money vanished into thin air just as it had arrived. A perfectly normal occurrence. It's just that the mind refuses to accept this situation as something normal. A void appears within, a emptiness that needs to be filled.

Any money that you lost in gambling is your money it doesn't matter if it's from your gambling bankroll or if it's money that you win, if you win it means that you earned it. When you make profit from your investment or get paid for work done is the same thing when you win in gambling so you are at liberty to spend it how you want. If you decide not to continue gambling with your win it means that you can spend it as your money outside the casino, if you decide to refill your gambling account with some of it then it's also how you want to spend it.

Gambler loses more or less money through gambling, professional gamblers will never say that they only win money through gambling and do not lose. However, I gamble mainly for entertainment. Winning or losing through gambling is not the main thing for me, the excitement I get from gambling is the main thing. However, I gamble within my means so that gambling does not become an addiction in my life, and I gamble with money that I can afford to lose, regardless of the outcome this allows me to control my emotions, and enjoy the real fun of gambling.

If I bet $1 and win $100 and lose it again, I consider it a loss of $100 because that $100 is already my right when I win. Furthermore, if I win $100, I will not continue playing on the same day. I will immediately withdraw it and deposit a small amount to play if I feel the game is not satisfying.
You bet $1 and earned $100 and later you lose it due to maybe mistakes or not gambling on games that could give you the opportunity to win more. Losing the $100 back to the casino is not a lose, they have definitely taken the money they gave you back and since you could not make use of the money in a way that will bring profit to you. A lose is a lose and it's definitely a lose of money. A chance to cashout but instead you choose to continue and push for more, that's not actually a lose in terms of the amount but a lose in terms of opportunity, and with that kind of experienced it can lead you to try back and add more money to your bankroll, thinking that you'll be able to repeat that same outcome and will try to be wiser if in anyhow luck permits you to win again. But reality will hit you, as there's no sure thing even how good you are and how effective your strategy, inside gambling the chance of losing is bigger compared to your chance to win.

Everyone gambles for their own purposes, but only a few people gamble just for fun. Initially I also gambled for fun, but when I lost a lot of money, then over time the goal has changed. I wanted to win money, recover losses and always wanted to avoid defeat, but in the end all those plans failed until I had to change it to the old goal. Gambling for fun, accepting losses and betting amounts you can afford to lose is the best approach to gambling. Some people only regret it after they have lost a lot of money, only then do they develop the right mindset. It is highly unlikely that gambling will change your financial status in the short or long term, unless you are born lucky.

I think that you should withdraw any profit. Even if your goal is to double your deposit, you do not need to wait until your deposit doubles. You can withdraw your winnings as you go. We cannot only win, there can be losses and the deposit can increase or decrease, but when I withdraw my winnings I treat the game more carefully with the remaining deposit. If I win, I consider this money mine and I do not want to lose it.

Technically, any money that’s sitting in your casino wallet is actually yours. But psychologically, it becomes yours when it has left that casino into your wallet. Because if it’s still in the casino, it’s pretty much still in a risk zone because anything can still happen at that point, the tendency of you losing the money back to the casino is still pretty much high. In fact sometimes, even if it is being withdrawn, there’s still a slightest chance of funding your wallet with it and losing it. So I believe I’d be right if I said that it can really be considered to be yours if you not only withdraw it but also use it or spend it.

Once you won some money, it is your money and if you lose it back then simply you lose your money even if you lose it back at the same day or after few days break. If you have won it, why you call it potential of having it, you have won it so it is completely yours because you have a full control of the money. Whether you are going to take a risk to lose it back or keep it by stop betting and enjoy the win, it is another case.

Well, what you said is true. It seems like the money is already ours, even though it's still in the casino's wallet. It's up to us to decide whether to use it to gamble again or withdraw it immediately to spend it on something else. That's logical thinking. And this also leads to awareness. When we've already won, and if we realize it was due to luck, and we don't necessarily win it again if we choose to continue, withdrawing it immediately is a good awareness.

Even if you only bet a small amount, once you win and see the money in your balance, it's your money. Most gamblers feel hurt and emotional when that amount disappears, seemingly due to greed.
But sometimes I think the opposite. Before I continue playing (even if I've already won), I first ask myself if I'm ready to lose all that money because of my decision. If I'm ready, I don't hesitate to continue. When I actually lose, I think, "I only lost $1."

Sure but you can’t enjoy it when it’s still lying in the casino wallet right? So it all still comes down to withdrawing it, because if it’s still there, there are still two possible outcomes, which is to either withdraw it or lose it back to the casino, so how is it exactly your money if it hasn’t been withdrawn to your own wallet? It’s just like leaving your money in an exchange, it’s really not completely your money because anything can still happen, it can get frozen, hacked or stolen, you know what they said, not your keys, not your money, that’s just how it is with leaving money in the gambling wallet.

It can't be other people's money. Obviously it's the player's money. Losing again in the next round is a normal thing in gambling games. Finding it difficult to move on is a characteristic of gamblers who do not fully understand gambling. Bet $1 and win $100, for gamblers whose gambling habits only play with bets under $1, $100 is considered a big win. There are those who make withdrawals with the assumption that they will lose in the future. If they lose too often and have spent a lot of money gambling, they no longer question their losses because they know that it is difficult to make big profits from gambling. It's a gambler who gambles with his sanity.

From the perspective explained above, it should be ours even if it's in a casino wallet. However, it's up to us whether we choose to make it ours or not, and that will be determined by our decision to withdraw it.
There will certainly be differences of opinion on this matter, but that's perfectly normal, as we all have our own perspectives. What matters most about the balance in our wallet is our ability to gamble responsibly.
And the truth is, it's truly our money when we enjoy it. Lol It kinda shows how this whole thing is just different depending on how you look at it. like sure the balance sitting in the casino wallet is technically ours but it still feels like you’re holding something that can slip out anytime because while it’s still in there you’re basically standing in the middle of the action and anything can happen. one bad click one quick tilt one tiny impulse and the money that looked solid a minute ago just disappears and you’re like well there goes that. When you pull it out into your own wallet that’s when it starts to feel real because now it’s somewhere safe and you’re not staring at games that can take it back. and yeah even then there’s still that chance you’ll toss it back in later so it’s funny how the mind treats withdrawal like a halfway point not a finish line. for a lot of people the money only feels truly theirs when they actually use it on something outside gambling like food or bills or whatever because that’s when it stops being pixels and becomes something you actually enjoyed. And the deposit thing flips it again because the moment you put it back you’re kind of handing the casino the chance to claim it if things go sideways. a lot of players do it with the same money they just withdrew some do it next day like you said just to get a fresh headspace but it still shows how ownership kinda moves around depending on what you’re doing.

Does that also justifies implies that the funds we have for trading in our CEX account belongs to the exchange since it's still in the exchange owned wallet? I think not, because if we haven't used the money to either trade or gamble but it's still lying in the account then it's ours because we can withdraw it anytime we want. The only time I have that perspective that the money in the account is mo more directly mine is when I have gambled it and waiting for the outcome of my bet because at that time I can lose it.

Yes, as other users have previously stated, it should still be ours, and it's up to us what we do with it, whether we withdraw it or use it. We all have our own perspectives, so it's okay to have differing opinions. But what's clear is that, whether it's our money or not (resulting from the platform), if we lose it, we shouldn't dwell on it too much, because what we fear is that it will only burden us in the future.

I don't think this is the major problem with me because I do cashout when I noticed the game I bet on is looking like it's not going to end up in a win. This has been my pattern and this is not the main reason why I ended up losing several of my bets. I am learning how to be a better person while reducing how often I bet so I don't continue getting unfavorable outcome from my gambling activity.
