There is no better way than accepting this through facts that it's a commodity, though arguing education to be a right as it empowered individual who engaged fully both formal and informal is right on its part, but today mostly in some third world countries education is more of commodity rather than right because of the money involved which have even draw many attention of individual investors having their establishment of private institution of learning or training, no doubt educational system have shifted more in focus to be a commodity compared to the right involved.
Education is a right of every person. But we've seen that there are countries that it's becoming a privilege to the fortunate people there. It's just a sad situation for those people who live in those countries which can't provide proper education. While for the fortunate ones, they treat it as an investment for their children so that when they grow older, they won't be fooled by anybody and it's the treasure that they're going to pass on until the rest of their lives. While we think that it should be a right, we have no control over all of those less fortunate people that can't even get a primary education.

If you say that, it does seem like education is a commodity because it attracts a lot of investor attention. But upon closer examination the reason why so many investors are interested in establishing private educational institutions is because government provided education simply won't be able to cover all the needs. Therefore the government sometimes has to thank investors who establish private educational institutions.

Essentially, education is important but it's not enough. Young people have the highest educational participation rates but unemployment rates are also high. It could be said that pursuing an education will lead to prosperity, but the reality is not always the same. Education as a path out of poverty can be empowering but on the other hand education alone is not enough to achieve success.

Having a quality education saves us from a lot of problems in our society, some of the problems we are facing today is because some people are brained wash and lack that education they needed to have and it's both formal and informal education I'm talking about. Some people lack home education that's why they go outside and constitute nuisance outside and the people that are doing bad to the society are brain wash because they lack the formal education.

If all people on earth have good quality education, we will not be having some of the problems we will be facing today. The world will grow with each person making their own quota of contribution form their learning and understanding of how the world revolved but it's not. Rather, we have division of human into different things like crime that has grown dip into our society, it's now turning worse because people don't value education anymore.

Education is the power to make the right decisions, the decisions of those who are educated are mature, it is certainly necessary for us to have a minimum educational qualification in our path of life, but it is certainly true that for those who are born in those environments, where even the minimum education system is not guaranteed, this is not a theoretical discussion, but a brutal reality of everyday life. In fact, I do not understand who is the main culprit here, due to which the common people do not get the opportunity to get even primary education, in fact their situation is very sad, education should be a right but they do not even have any opportunity there.

No amount of money that is payed for iliteracy that is much , education have deprived alot of opportunities from people, this that could have being a simple task became so difficult for them making them loose a golden opportunity.
People seems not to know the value of education until it cost them alot, you don't have to be educated because you're searching for job alot of people don't even want any job yet they're educated it's not a carrier bound stuff it's just good for you .
I also believe it's never too late to be educated ,
Even when it comes to investment you can't compare educated person to uneducated investor, even in our society it's help raise a moral society ,the importance of education can not be neglected in our day to day activities and how we see life in general.

You raised a very valid point about inequality related to education. As the world known that its the basic human rights to get education but unfortunately it has become privilege in several parts of the world. Even though many is individuals don't want to get education after primary level because the can't afford it. The reason behind is unplanned educational policies by government, weak institutions and poor governments. On the other hand for wealthy people education is a way of investment for the children's career. So the children's belongings to poor families have a draw back at that point which stops to compete with elite class. This issue may be resolved if governments and global institutions gives attention to this matter and make politics and create scholarships for deserving students. So if even knowledge can't distributed equally than how we built equality in a society.

I think that the mistake really comes from the government. If they will consistently fund the education sector per year, the less privileged will be able to educate their children for free or for lesser cost that they should pay. That's a right that's being taken away from the next generation due to corruption and other priorities where in fact, that education should be funded and put into priority list. The countries that have lesser literacy should focus on that in the next decade and see how it will impact their economy when they produce more graduates and educated people.

Education is one of the basic needs of the people. The more educated a nation is, the more developed that nation is. Therefore, many countries in the world realize its necessity and allocate a large part of the annual budget on education so that the citizens of the country have adequate opportunities to get education. However, in many countries of the world, education is used as a commodity. Nowadays, schools and universities are open to give all kinds of certificates. As a result, a student has to spend a lot of money to grow up. Since a student has to spend a lot of money to get the highest degree, that student resorts to corruption after getting a job and uses the job as a tool for earning money. Thus, anarchy is created in the field of education.
As every year we face rise in prices of everything same we face rise in the fee of education. One side public mentally prepared themselves for a general inflation or other side they also ready for inflation in education sector. As other industries use marketing tools to attract the consumer same education sector use similar techniques to catch the greater number of the students. In this situation education become business. When education become a commodity in any society then country produce fewer skillful students which affect economic growth in the long run.

I think government should interfere here for public welfare, as government make planning to give subsidies to the other sector it should allocate some funds for the education to keep the fee affordable for everyone. Otherwise education sector in future turn in another profit making industry instead of working for the welfare of the public in building the future
