Those who can afford it send their children to private schools, but even there, the quality has declined. State schools used to be somewhat better, but the current situation is truly terrible. Teacher quality is inadequate and the curriculum is flawed. The government is trying to impose its own ideas on children. Wrong things are being taught in schools. This is affecting the future of a generation. If you want to control people, design the media and the education system. This is what is happening in Türkiye right now.

This is a mistaken belief that is not based on reality. The primary motivators for which people send children to private schools is not about getting better education. It is about separation, status and prestige. Rich people are friends with or know other people. Once some of them start sending their children somewhere very expensive, they start to want the same thing because they want to look wealthy and successful among their friends. How often do you see children from rich people going to a normal school? This almost never happens and this is the primary reasons. While facilities may be better and while there may be fewer kids per class, the education in a private school is very often much easier than a comparable standard school. The reason for this is simple. Kids of rich parents tend to be more lazy and want to have things easy in life. If they are struggling in these schools and getting bad grades, their will complain to their parents which will be dissatisfied with the school instead of the kids because they are paying money. Therefore there exists an economic incentive to have it balanced but relatively easy, so that most kids that are going to these schools are getting good grades. Remember that exceptions do exist, but when speaking about things you have to talk about the way that most things are.

I think education is important if you want to be a person of wisdom because you will learn more things from life And you will invest more and more time with intelligent people who will be successful in the future and you will be also rich people of your town because you will do your research in your field and there will be more chances of your success in the respective field.  But you should take practical knowledge if you can take because you will do the work with the degree. But degree is important in life either you want to be a job holder of businessman because you have to take knowledge of practical things. Male and female both should take knowledge of practical things.

Let's be realistic. How many people do you know or have you seen that are actively seeking out intelligent or more intelligent people than them to spend time with? This rarely happens and this happens even less with rich people. This may be only different at the extreme end of the scale, some extremely rich billionaires. However most people don't want to look stupid in a group of people so they actively seek individuals that are on similar levels as them.

"All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy". As a parent it's important to balance out time for study and fun. I am a father and I make sure that my kids get sufficient time to play and enjoy their life. Every parent sends there kids to best school according to there financial status that's because a child can't get success in life if he is not properly educated. There are exceptions but they are very few. In 21st century, new technologies emerge every year and our kids must be educated in way that they can adapt these new emerging technologies.

I would bet my life savings that that quote does not apply to even 1% of the current children or students. Kids are getting way too much play time and are spoiled on average. If you make an analysis on the average skills between children of generations, not standardized and tests that are practiced for, then you will see a steady decline in results. Kids are wasting more time than ever on things and they are less capable and educated than ever.

True, in my country not every one has the opportunities for the good quality of education how poorly economic condition and the government blame about education cost. Nowadays since elementary school has high education cost and its difficult for poorly person how to pay monthly education coast up to $100 to $200 depend the school qualities. Since elementary school has higher education cost I think heavily for universities and most of them forget their dreaming for getting higher education degree.

I can attest to that. The education system in my country has the free one based on the law of the government and also the private ones. The opinion of experience per se are different but I think the best teachers are teaching in public schools. But if it's about the comfort and the more knowledge that students can learn, it's within the public schools. Until a student becomes college and goes to university, there's still the two choices, the state colleges and universities which are free and funded by the government as well as the private universities. And here goes the bias of the employers that they prefer those universities that are private and known to be the top amongst the schools. That's why the inequality is there even at the start of studying.

This is not correct and to consider it a luxury these days is wrong. If you look at the data about smartphone ownership, it is clear that even most poor people have smartphones and access to the internet. Instead of learning for its own sake, or for improving their economic status which is more appropriate for poor people, most people are playing games and browsing the internet on their phones. Do not mistake economic status as the cause of something when it is not, this is simply bad behavior and people who have no discipline. Since this behavior happens across both poor and rich populations we can conclude with a significant probability that it has nothing to do with the economic status.

What do you mean with extra burden? The money that is needed to send your children to school is part of basic parenthood planning. If some people are not doing it, that does not mean that there are extra burdens on them, it means that they are irresponsible. A lot of people are having children without doing any kind of planning, then when things get hard they blame the government or the world instead of taking responsibility for this. Education costs will vary widely, and most expensive it will probably be in the USA. If someone want to be a lawyer he should go to school and should get degree of lawyer which will say that he is lawyer and he should do training in court and after that he will be successful in his mission to be successful lawyer and he has to do 5 years of training after that . It's a proper standard that who leads in building the country have finished their studies and have education. But that's a sad truth that you've mentioned there. Like this education index done by the UN development programme, it's still on going but seeing the world map on how is the literacy for most countries based on the legend there is still a lot and on going. LOL I can picture an uneducated political person running the game and a lot of educated administrative services people under him taking orders. The first guy is a 8th fail while the officers are usually graduates. This is the case in many countries specially India.

Even there are multiple government schools who provide education for almost free but the real question here is are these schools really educating the students? I highly doubt so. Education has been a business and schools who offer education for free or for very less amount are usually the ones who will just operate for name sake without actually educating the students.

lately school has became a business and i can attest to that, most of the this teachers are opening private school to shift the attention of this pupils to this new private school all because of money. but  i still believe that there are still public school that educate the pupils very well regardless of the status of the school. but the interesting part is that most of the prominent and well know people graduated from this public school, this makes me believe that sometimes school is not what makes us educated but being educated is a personal decision. if you want to learn you learn, regardless of school you attend. 
 

Prestigious schools like Harvard will always be among the top institutions and even getting there is not that easy. The fees will be extremely high and getting scholarship is almost next to impossible. These institutions are premium because after graduating one can easily land up a high paying job.

attending a high premium institution does not guarantee a person to easily land up in a high paying job. i know of many people who graduated in a high standard school but are yet to get a better job. anyone going to school should go to the one they can afford, because learning is not the amount you pay or the type of school you attend, but how you can easily utilize the information you have with the one you get.

I think I get your point but to me, no one goes to school for the fact that they will get a job Like the moment you were born, your parents have already chosen that part of life for you. So I like to believe that we are just living our parents dreams of being a successful person in the future.​That said the ability of a person to be able to have knowledge comes from their seriousness and that goes for wealthy people also. Educational institutions make so many rules that a student has to pass the academic period by following those rules. Educational institutions are made in such a way that money plays the main role. But I do not think that this education is of much use in the workplace. If educational institutions provide real education, then students can move forward in all areas of life with their education.

Education teaches a lot apart from the certificate you are going to get in the university, there are probably some other life lessons you are going to learn, you are going to learn from literally a lot of things and while most people are going to the university, they have their different purpose for doing that, some wants to obtain the certificate to enable them get a job in the company of their interest while some also want to know more about some areas of life and nature, to be able to also impact same knowledge to others.
