Both of your ideas are good but you have to accept the fact that your second idea might bring in risk as you will end up investing excess money. Holding will be the key point for you here. If you have not invested a significant amount than you can hold it for a longer duration and profit or loss should not really affect your decision.

You can surely add some more money to your positions to average the entry price but make sure to catch appropriate dips. Market seems bearish now and might remain the same for a couple of months so you should be prepared to hold for a long time.

If you are ready to invest more money than maybe you can think of DCA and can divide your money into equal parts and can continue to buy maybe for a quarter at least until the price starts reverting back.

Dude its totally depends on your cash flow. You got excess money you don't need? buy the dip. You have make so much income that you're confused where to invest? buy the dip.
If you are tight in cashflow then just hold until things improve. I usually do more DCA to buy the dip like this and just do a little DCA when nearing ATH because I don't really want my average cost to go up significantly but that's just my strategy.

Feel free to tailor one based on your financial condition. You're the only one who knows what's better for you at the end of the day.

You shouldn't feel lucky and get too excited just because the bitcoin price has recovered a bit because there is no guarantee the price won't fall again soon. Such small rallies will not be enough to change the market structure.

The bear market may not be here yet, but it’s definitely very close to us. So, instead of being complacent just because of temporary recovery, make sure you have a backup plan.
