It's interesting to look at the evolution. Many of these pictured in this auction were important to us in their own rights.
While the 0.1 BTC was the first note we released, it was not printed by us.
Teslin (lot 2) one of the first in-house printing. Admittedly on a very crude printing process. The designs generally lack a lot of the detail of today, and had a lot of stock elements.
The 50 mbtc sheet stopped printing mid way through because the lines on the printer got jammed! The 0.2 BTC was quickly adapted to our first in-house print on polymer. 07/20/2017 would have been right around when BG4 helped me learn about other forms of digital printing. Some of which we still use today!
Lot two were created before Polymerbit became a registered company. I printed them in London while studying for my masters.
The Monero notes were complicated to make, and Adam was instrumental in the early clear window tests.
The winners of these auctions should reach out for a call. I'll elaborate on details. All proceeds go to Sky.
