It's not easy to see consistent profitable bettors on the long term, as far as you're always gambling the casinos will always win on the long run except you're extremely lucky. The question is how many bettors are that extremely lucky to be on profit for a very long time that will be greater than their loses? The answer is they are very few and from what I see most of the extreme lucky ones are not hear except they don't want to make it known. Perhaps if a bettor wins very big amount and decides to be using insignificant amount to be placing bets that is when they can remain profitable over loses

I do agree with you both, it seems you have had same experience @Orpichukwu because you sounded as though you are speaking out of experience, after a huge win, if the gambler doesn't put the money into an investment that will consistently generate income for them, that means they are likely to lose that same amount back to the casino later in the future, it could be within a short term. There was a week I had many wins but on the following week, I even lost more than the wins I had previously.

I doubt it is like a business. In a business you put in capital and eventually it will start churning out once you get good at it. But in sports betting you cannot become good at it all the time. You are making predictions and predictions will be wrong from time to time, that will drain out your capital and eventually you will only be breaking even or just scratching from red zone to breaking even.

Why there are less of profitable sports bettors and some many casinos providing them? The answer is that is the same answer to this question, they cannot sustain for long. Some people might promote the opposite on social media, just keep in mind that they are making money from affiliate commissions and social media in a much greater scale than what they show on betting.

I do submit that if there is a profitable sports bettor here in this forum, they would not make themselves known due to various reasons for their security and safety.

Actually, I never saw a person who is only winning streak, even a Jackpot winner also have the multiple times of losses in his gambling portfolio. And this is actually the natural things because not everyday our luck will be same, so it couldn't be possible that only winning in gambling, even that was sports betting because we have seen many times that the underdog team defeat the stronger team so nothing is guaranteed in gambling.

I doubt if there are profitable bettors that wins consistently, don't you think if there are gamblers that win consistently that there won't be gambling anymore because the owners will run out of funds so they placed it in such a way that you win once in a while and not consistently, no one has ever came out to brag that he wins consistently and we know it's not possible to do so no matter the high level of knowledge and strategies one uses there must be looses and those looses becomes beneficial to the casino owners or sports betting companies that's how it works.

One can literally be winning from games he has staked but it won't be a substantial amount it could be petty winnings because it's quite difficult to win a huge amount of money from gambling because the games are unpredictable except you win by being lucky and that luck don't come always and easily.

All bettors are lucky winners and nobody is an expert in betting. You can win as well if you are not chasing for big amount. It is when you are looking for big amount to win then you multiply you bets by selecting more matches to increase their wins. But if you are a low-key gambler select single game and bet. Definitely you will win when you are not chasing for big amount to win and you take it as an entertainment event. All what I am saying here is, don't play multiple bets but single bet.

It's understandable that people who can transform their success into material wealth prefer to remain anonymous (reducing unnecessary risks), but it seems to me that there are no secrets in gambling these days. Just look at the prediction markets, at the top performers.
