Alright. I have been researching hardware wallets for a while, with the intention to buy my first one. In another thread I was recommended to buy the Trezor Safe 3, but to my surprise, Amazon doesn't carry it, and when I asked the people at Trezor which courier they used (a big thing for me, as most would use the Argentine postal service, which is known for having packages "disappearing" during delivery), they gave me the runaround and never really answered.
So I changed the angle, and looked at the wallets that were available in Amazon. Out of all of them, only one: the OneKey Classic 1S, got all 10 of Walletscrutiny's tests down, so at least the source code is open (not that I know what to do with it yet), and other desirable characteristics are covered.

So, has anybody used it? What's your opinion on it?

Thanks in advance.  Smiley

Despite OneKey using part of the Trezor's code, I would still opt for the latter one [you'll face fewer issues in the long run]... Based on the price of Classic 1S, I would just go to any of the "Argentinian official resellers" with a brick-and-mortar store to purchase a Trezor Safe 3 at a premium price.

Stay away, if you ask me.
Onekey just cloned Trezor wallet code with some changes, and OneKey is known for having short lifetime for their devices.
I would not be surprised if they retire OneKey Classic 1S or they stop providing security updates.
My suggestion is to purchase Trezor Safe 3 instead, with current Black Friday deal price is around $50, and this is much better than Onekey.

I'm not a fan of OneKey either.

My main hardware wallet is Bitcoin only, so I bought a OneKey Mini as a backup, and for alts. But in the end, I stopped buying alts. I bought the OneKey Mini because it was on sale. I should have bought a Trezor instead.

If you go with a less common hardware wallet, you're putting yourself in a position where there are fewer people to ask questions. Trezor has been selling hardware wallets for over a decade. And while other hardware wallet makers are doing increasingly shady stuff, Trezor remains trustworthy. Nothing should matter more than that.

If you're looking for something trendy and cool, get home automation lightbulbs or something like that.

If you're looking for a secure way to do Bitcoin self custody, go with the most trustworthy option in your price range for your level of experience. Until you're ready for something like Krux or ColdCard, Trezor is what I always recommend.

Thank you all. I'm gonna investigate more on the argentinian Trezor resellers, see if they're a valid option. Otherwise, I'll have to try my luck with Trezor...

Trezor has five official resellers in Argentina. I am sure you will find what you are looking for at one of their sites without needing to use Amazon at all. Perhaps some of those resellers even have physical shops in certain cities. If they are close to where you live, you could purchase your Trezor with cash and not add your name and personal details to an online database. Considering that such databases are valuable targets for hackers, that's a good thing to avoid if you can.
