They are making a big mistake, which they will later regret that decision. Because shifting from sport betting to playing casino games means they are shifting from a game where skill can influence the outcome to a game with pure luck and chance.

In percentage terms they are smaller, but there are also users who switch from the casino to sports games, precisely to slow down compulsive gambling.
Unfortunately, those who see easy money make the biggest mistake you can make in gambling.
Obviously there are more bonuses available for the casino because there are more users, being a simpler game, it attracts more and the game is practically continuous.

There’s a high chance that sports bettors turning into casino players since gambling platform nowadays offer the same games.

It’s easy to access casino games while sports bettors done on placing their bets and just waiting for the results. Casino games offer a quick result games that is perfect when you a lot of free time after placing bets on sports.

I believe it’s happening vice versa because gambler preferred exploring other games.

Maybe the only reason that switch from casino to sports betting is that they are a sports fan in the beginning. So they want to bet on their teams and watch and then enjoy at as the same time, wanted to test out if they are good in predicting.

And I guess it's for the experience as well, as gamblers you need to be well rounded. You can go and play slots and at the same time go and be a sports bettor too. I haven't meant any gambler that only concentrate one style of playing. Seldom to hear that they only play luck base games.

Without any real stats it is difficult to tell how much players try out the other available options. I mostly played sports gambling but have played several slot games (with a bit of crash and plinko).

Switching between casino games and sports betting happens a lot and you’re right it mostly depends on the type of thrill a gambler is looking for some people start with slot machines because of how fast they are and how easily accessible they can be but over time the repetitive nature of slots can get boring so they move to sports betting for something that feels more analytical and connected to their interests.

Sports bettors often enjoy the sense of involvement they get by using their knowledge of teams and players unlike slots where everything depends purely on luck sports betting gives them an illusion of control even though luck still plays a role it also has slower pacing which can feel more deliberate compared to the rapid spin cycles of slots. I came from a provably fair casino games and ideally my goal is to earn more while having fun, and so I tried different betting strategies and sometimes it works and sometime it fails. There can be different reasons for why people want to switch and you can say that they do it because that's what works best for them, for guys who want to always be gambling then sports betting might not give them what they want so they'd preferably mave over to casinos in order to keep up with their gambling cravings while others can move from slots to sports because they want to make better use of the knowledge about the sport and their analytical skills, so at the end of the day it's really just a matter of which one works better for you.

I've always been a sports bettor from the start, and then something made me notice slots, and that's when the transition began. Then, I won a great multiplier in Stake.com that changed my perspective on slots, and so I continue.

A lot of sportsbook have casino games on their options and this has made bettors want to try their luck with these games. I try to focus only on sports betting but whenever I lose I try to double up whatever I have left on slot or crash games but this always ends in more losses. It is better to always stick to sports betting whether you are winning or losing, switching would lead to double losses

No way, that’s not gonna happen. You already mentioned that sports betting is skill-based. So why would a gambler choose a game that needs skill if he’s still going to lose in the long run?

For me personally, I’m a sports bettor. Been doing it for many years. But ever since sportsbooks added casino games to their platforms, I got curious and tried a lot of them, even slots. "Times change, and as well people's minds change with them". If you notice this, you will see that if you listen to your favorite song many times in a day or a few days, you don't like listening to it again later, in that case you will look for something new. Considering this aspect, it is not unusual for some people to shift from sports betting to casino slot games when gambling. I myself occasionally play casino slot games where I am a sports bettor.

Here, a gambler's decision to shift to a gaming sector depends on many factors; there may be a trend or hype behind it, as well as his personal desires, etc. I think there is no specific answer to this, because in many cases, there will be a shift from sports betting to slot gaming and then back to sports betting.

For me, I prefer sports betting because its something I could actually influence to a certain extent as I could get the chance to bet on possible outcome using skills and experiences from previous games while casino slot game is just based on pure luck.

There is no way I would rely solely on luck with my hard earned money, that's really not a wise move though it's faster in terms of profit generation compared to sports betting but it's entirely not the kind of thrill I would want to experience.

Why not play both? The more games you try, the more fun you get. Sports betting is just the most popular one, so it’s unlikely people will drop it and become full-time casino players. Casino games are way more demanding in terms of time, so not everyone can do that.

Sports betting is different, you just place your bet, it only takes a few minutes, and it’s even fine if you don’t watch the game for your bet to be valid. That’s how convenient sports betting is, and that’s why bettors will keep loving it over any other type of game.

I don't know many people who do this; I've only seen a few cases, and from what I could tell, they were people who place sports bets but wanted to try some casino games, like me for example, but then stopped playing casino games and only stuck with sports betting.

They are people from my country, because according to them, in sports betting, although they see it as entertainment, they take it seriously. They place $2 on parlay bets with odds of over @100.00, and when they win, they take the money and expand their business. Whereas in casino games, $1 is nothing, and they lose very easily.

Based on what I see here in my country, people talk way more about slots, which I guess falls under casino games. I think a lot of gamblers go for slots because it’s easy to play and you can bet small amounts without thinking too much. In terms of number of users, casinos probably have the edge, but when it comes to the actual size of the bets, I feel like sports betting still takes that one.

So with your question. I thin the answer is no as these people were not sports bettors before they started playing slots, or we call it scatter.

We can decide to have a taste in playing other games as we gamble, that is if we are tired of playing a particular one more often, some will definitely appreciates shifting form one type to another, but if we think playing sport for instance is good by us, then there is nothing stopping us from advancing in playing it, except we have decided to try play the casino games and have another experience in such a game full of luck than the sport bet that requires more of knowledge form us.
