Has this also happened to you before or user LastKiss might have gotten exposed somewhere else?
In essence, your real identity should not be given online to irresponsible sites, yes, the page experience experienced by @LastKiss, Basically this has been experienced by other people, especially on online gambling sites or other sites. But in my experience in registering on crypto online gambling sites on this forum, nothing strange has happened to me, of course maybe they are responsible for the identity of their users. Remember, not all online gambling sites are KYC safe, so before KYC check the gambling site in detail, in terms of security, license, or their reviews and other information.

I asked this because of this: I’ve had the experience before, after completing KYC on a gambling website, I suddenly started getting calls almost every hour from unknown numbers. At first I had no idea where they got my number, but eventually I realized it tho. Some of the callers were even offering high-interest loans—probably assuming I was a desperate gambler.
I think if something like this is happening, people need to be careful of KYC gambling sites because the gambling site can be selling their customers information and one day the information will get to scammers. Has this also happened to you before or user LastKiss might have gotten exposed somewhere else? I created an account on a gambling platform where I used an email, which is why they don't have my number and can't call me. However, the person the OP is talking about here probably created the account with his phone number when he created the account on the gambling platform, which is why the gambling platform is calling him repeatedly. In fact, to my knowledge, no reputable casino platform would sell a customer's KYC because a reputable casino platform would never do such a low-quality job.

Has this also happened to you before or user LastKiss might have gotten exposed somewhere else? A thing like this has never happened to me, and I also have not come across anyone who said or complained of this happening to them either, and fact remains that if you as a gambler really want to have a good gambling experience, there is absolutely no way to avoid kyc gambling casinos because they are usually the best and the most trusted.. Now don't get me wrong, some kyc casinos are scammers, they built the casino to simply steal their users information and at the end steal their money as well, but this is where the importance of only gambling on verified and reputation casinos comes in, that is, casinos that even though they are kyc enabled, they have been running for a very long time and have managed to gain a lot of satisfied customers.. If as a gambler you choose this type of casino to gamble on, I don't think you should ever have any issue relating to your private information getting leaked and so on.

I think if something like this is happening, people need to be careful of KYC gambling sites because the gambling site can be selling their customers information and one day the information will get to scammers. It is only suspicion with the user and believe it, it could be coincidence from other means the users may have exposed his contacts. This contacting of individuals for loans is a common activity in my locality and I have been reached in request of loans but I keep abolishing them because I believe since I did not apply for a loan, I might probably be on a scam target in the way that I don't have the ideal. So I just ignore them whenever they calls. Of course I did not enroll for any gambling registrations during those while. Given it a benefit of doubt, yes disreputable Casinos and gambling platforms can actually sell out users information and for that reason, I choose to only do with casinos with minimum KYC requirements such as emails. I don't input my phone number due to privacy reasons.

First of all there is no evidence that those unknown numbers know his phone number after doing KYC in a casino as it can be a coincidence only which means that those unknown callers may get his number from other sources. Secondly, I have experienced getting many calls from unknown numbers even before I knew about KYC in online casinos. Last but not least, if the main problem is about the inconvenience of getting calls from unknown numbers and we believe that it is due to such KYC, better to not use our primary number when it comes to online services. We can use secondary number for such a thing so our primary number is a bit safer although once we use any number in online services as well as in offline services, there is always a chance for this kind of experience.

It would have been better if the user named the gambling website and not just say "a gambling website". Naming the gambling website would have brought the reputation of the casino out for a discussion. When users fail to name a gambling website or casino that they have an issue and then just want to let us the readers begin guessing randomly, I think of the story and a generated one, a fictional story that did not happen. sorry but who else thinks like this?

Has this also happened to you before or user LastKiss might have gotten exposed somewhere else? In my case, I've never experienced this with casinos. But I did experience it when, naively, I created an account on a forex scam website 7 years ago. They kept calling me and saying I needed to activate the account urgently and that I needed to deposit $250 quickly. I told them I didn't have the money, but they still sent emails and called me, and it was always different people on the line. I confess I was scared and had to turn off my phone for many days and then blocked their number. Since those first few days, I've never created an account on any forex website again, and I had created the account thinking it was a cryptocurrency exchange.

Anytime we feels like we cant release some information about our personal self, the best we could do is in seeking for alternative where such has been demanded, at least we have some gambling platforms that do exist and do not require KYC, because we cant just afford to accept the use of a random casino of low reputation and expect things to be well with us in using them along the line.

Has this also happened to you before or user LastKiss might have gotten exposed somewhere else? Well, it's happening to some institutions that don't value security of the user, like for example, yes gambling platforms, sometimes it's local logistics company, some public surveys and raffles. After you put a contact number to their forms, a bunch of scams and promo offering to you in text messages. That's why having a burner cp no., is a must, a phone number that should be used only for putting at risk, not for personal purposes. The only people that should know your contact no., is your family and friends, sometimes your relations manager from banks and insurance are also exempted because of course, they're trusted and won't do such thing like other company do. So trust me, even here in my country, once you've publicly disclosed your contact number, a bunch of text and calls will come to you and will try to scam you with shady offers.

It hasn't happened to me before and I don't think that I have gotten any gambling related calls from unknown callers, although I don't doubt that it can happen. But getting emails or calls from scammers that are gambling related doesn't mean that it is a casino that leaked your gambling information to the scammers, they could get your number from different social media platforms. It is important to know the reputation of any platform that is requiring your KYC, it helps to reduce your chances of being scammed. Scammers sometimes hack people's social media accounts especially WhatsApp and begin to send scam messages to the hacked contacts impersonating the real owner. We should be informed about how scammers operate and ignore them.

There's no way to know for sure until we can analyze every case perfectly. Someone already mentioned that OP participated in bounty hunting in the past, and who knows what kind of services he registered with his emails, phone numbers, social media account, etc.
In my case, I can say that some companies do leak my phone number. I guess leak is the wrong word to use since some of them explicitly said they'll use your data for marketing purposes, although we can debate whether selling or sharing your phone number constitutes a marketing purpose or not.
Someone mentioned a burning account or throwaway accounts. I also think you should use this unless you're registering for something that you'll use regularly, and you'll get asked for KYC sooner or later. Stuff like gaming, trial service, etc, should be fine with throwaway emails. Just assume your data is known in this day and age and prepare accordingly. CMIIW.

I don't think I had experience of getting promotional calls from random apps and sites after completing KYC on casinos but it is possible because in casino ToS itself where they mentioned about sharing your personal detail with trusted third party for promotional content so if you don't want to get those calls then have a secondary number that you will not use and just use for the purpose of KYC. And in most reputed casinos the number and contact details are only for the high limit users, for beginner level providing national ID is enough.

If we think there are sensitive information about us we may not appreciate leaving on these centralized gambling platforms, we should then abstain from using them, or better still look for a credible one that has high reputable and long time consistency in running the business, even though some will make a decision not to use the common ones and go for the no kyc gambling platforms, just to be more safe, we don't know is who when it comes to data leakage.

This happened with me.
I create an account in a few casinos to try and I started receiving SMS about other things which I did not receive before so I can only think this was the casino selling my number of just leaking because of an access issue from bad guys
But now my phone filters the sms so I don't see them anymore

When accepting KYC you have to read all the clauses, even the very small ones written, the most dangerous clauses are hidden there. I've been receiving anonymous calls or calls from foreign numbers for years now (I've become an expert at blocking all spam in seconds ). Fortunately, not all casinos with KYC have this policy of knowingly or unknowingly handing over data to third parties. Always keep an open eye and read everything before accepting, or you'll find yourself like me constantly blocking spam numbers.

That's against their duty and they should be sued for doing that. But, the users will have to prove that it is them that have leaked their information and need to be truthful that they didn't signed with any other websites but only to that casino just after passing on kyc. While I also experienced this and keeps on experiencing, I just can't remember where's the source of it but it's my fault for being reckless of signing up with the use of my personal number.

This is can be happens to anyone, not just because of gambling website but also another service that asked you to complete KYC with identity. Thats why you have to be careful if you want to complete your KYC to provider (anything). Even government website can also able to be hacked or someone from them selling your data for personal profit.

If it’s their agents calling, that’s normally safe since it’s still within the company. They also have policies about not leaking our information, otherwise we can file a complaint against them. It’s kind of the same as having a loan in a lending app or a credit card, if you can’t pay anymore, your account gets forwarded to a collection agent, and they’ll call you every day to annoy you and remind you that you have an obligation to settle.

I think if something like this is happening, people need to be careful of KYC gambling sites because the gambling site can be selling their customers information and one day the information will get to scammers.
Has this also happened to you before or user LastKiss might have gotten exposed somewhere else?
I haven't had this kind of experience before maybe not in a casino but probably in another service that requires a valid ID to push through. I think some of the alerts that i received from dark web alerts is probably because of that but not necessarily from casinos.

I have not heard of any gambling sites that are borrowing people money before. And according to what I found out online, lending people money is not the work of a gambling site. So must probably that the people calling to lend the gambler money is a third party and they can be a business setup to be leading people money, but it is also good to be careful because scammers have different tactics.
