Definitely, Bitcoin crashes honestly and when it crashes, it does so in the open and everyone witnesses it and watches the price charts and hence, there is no bailouts, no secret meetings, and no secret liquidity injections. Every buyer and seller sees the very same order books, witnesses the same volatility, same risks and same demand and supply playing out with no hidden details. This is in sharp contrast to Fiat that governments and central banks constantly strive to remedy behind close doors outside people's notice and end up altering monetary performance.

When fiat crashes, banks gets bailed out, Government might try to rescue institutions from falling, leaving the ordinary people to bear the brunt of fiat failure, fiat crash ends up getting socialized with the people at the receiving end.

Bitcoin crashing is borne by everyone, the protocol doesn't favour insiders and punish outsiders because it is transparent and everyone is treated equally. I agree  that all fiat currencies are crashing. But basically every other asset is in ATH or close to it.

Gold, basically all metals, , sp500 , all stock market around the globe (even emerging markets) are on ATH.

I belive that it is not that those assets are going up, but fiat currencies are going down

This is probably the most honest doompost I’ve read this week and ironically almost everything about it is as true as it appears.

Yes, fiat feels like it’s on life support. Yes, prices are wild. Yes, economists still talk like the rest of us took the wrong elective school. But even though Bitcoin “crashes honestly,” a crash is still a crash. It’s not a magic shield.

At the end of the day, neither system is perfect. The real advantage comes from understanding how both of them work, protecting yourself and not relying on hope or central bank to save you.

Andreas Antonopoulos talked about this set of people, who for some reasons just don't want to believe that a system that can set standards, can ever exist. I'm not sure of why it keeps happening, but it seems this set of people are always present in every single timeline or era. They've been in existence before the internet, and they're still very much in existence today.

Sometimes, I wonder why the same people don't see these obvious things the way we see them. How can a full grown adult fail to see that the financial system is completely broken?. Inflation affects them, but it doesn't raise questions in their heart. Bro I think I am getting good food quality, I avoid shit, all I am concerns now is about the basic ingredients that I can't change like the cooking oil, and other things, rent is really high but it is not increasing that quickly, fiat is not crashing really, if it is crashing then not at that rate, speaking about my local currency that is also not crashing, now it has found a stable place but since the start everything is crashing.

Look carefully at how the government prints its money and how the M2 money supply moves, doesn't Bitcoin follow the amount of money in circulation, the more money is printed, the greater the increase in the price of Bitcoin, and forever it will definitely be like this.

And if you look at the blue cyclic graph, the Yoy spike is not that big, I quite believe that there will be QE, then they will expand their capital to Bitcoin, there we will be able to see how the exponential increase will occur.

Considering the economic crisis we are heading to, bitcoin indeed could crash further. We are not sure when the economic crisis would start but it would be one of the unprecedented and most severe crash that may not make our economy come back to normal ever. The reason for that is the decrease in demand.
The world population is moving towards a plateau and our supply is ever increasing. The demand for oil, gas and even food might start to decrease sooner than expected and with abundant supply added with the distrust in fiat, a global economic collapse and deflation may take us to decade long economic depression.
Bitcoin too could be hit hard by this and have a crash but the good thing about bitcoin is its one of the place where people move to when they don't trust on fiat. Many economist have described bitcoin as digital gold, an asset that has real value to the holders.
I'm maybe optimistic but even in severe economic depression, I believe bitcoin would be among the rare asset that holds it value.

It is ironic to see fiat currencies, where they said to be stable means of exchange. But in reality fiat currencies erode in value over time, where fiat cannot maintain its value in the long term. The prices of goods and even services continue to rise. And fiat cannot be relied upon to overcome this. Printing more fiat only makes the situation worse. I personally believe that Bitcoin is exist to solve all these problems as Bitcoin can maintain its value in the long term. And Bitcoin cannot be printed like fiat. Crashes in Bitcoin are only temporary. Bitcoin has a halving cycle that makes it as solid as a fortress. And the scarcity of Bitcoin will always be the key to its resilience. I'd rather be in bitcoin than fiat. The way I see bitcoin, it's this valuable digital commodity that people around you don't know the value of sonthey throw prices at you. One month they will offer you 100k, the other 90k, an a year from now 120k. It's your choice what price you'll agree to, which is where the average price comes into play. Most people feel like the ath is a good price to sell, but not many will do it at 50% of the ath.

Haha was going to say the same thing, even the air feels heavy to them while it shouldn't and it reverses for the people living away from cities and when they move to city, I live in a rural area, and whenever I visit a big city in my country in winter, there is a lot of smog that by just seeing the particles in air I feel my chest getting block while people living there don't feel anything.

I don't like their water, anyway, we were talking about food and that really gets healtier the more we go away from cities.

Yeah, 2% inflation means you lose around half your purchasing power power every 3-ish decades.  Not a good way to encourage savings or investing and consequently economic growth. 

And if you pull out longer than a few weeks or few months, "crashes" is relative.

Bitcoin don’t crash. It makes a correction. A correction is a small detail in the big picture… or zoomed out chart. A crash is on the other hand something people should be worried about because it has the potential to be a permanent state.

The only thing that makes me raise my eyebrows is the cost of mining a bitcoin.

This source (https://en.macromicro.me/charts/29435/bitcoin-production-total-cost) says it is around 108k usd to mine a bitcoin and the price of a btc is below $90k atm which means miners are mining for a loss.

Then either miners will have to capitulate or the price will have to rally to save the miners.
