What’s one thing we all do? We create value. Our journey and methods may be different but in order to make money, we create value. We invest in ourselves (education for example). We learn new skills which all can be offered to customers or clients. We make ourselves valuable basically. So, always remember to build up your skills and knowledge, your portfolio, invest in yourself and in your work.

Of course the world today favors those who are creatives and have values for themselves without entirely depending on any government or individuals and as a matter of facts there are people who the economy are  hunting for and when those people are seen they wouldn't want to joke with those people because they are really helping the economy, in terms of healthcare and other importance of lives they assist.

I guess it is everyone's goal to create growth and development, and be valuable. However, not everyone is given equal opportunities and privileges to be taken so while others are already seeing themselves in progress and are highly valuable, some are still struggling to find means on how to established theirselves financially.

People may born equal, but are not equal when it comes to seizing their own opportunities in life. although creating value on oneself is highly encouraged, but some may not be easy for them to make it happen and realized, especially if they are born poor and struggling already with their finances.

Creating value takes a whole lot of creativity in yourself. In any environment you may find yourself, in order to remain relevant and being vouched for, you need to be able to give solution to their problems, be a problem solver which can be achieved by creating value from your bank of creativity you’ve invested in yourself. Education is the backbone of creating of value, while others may dispute it, you may still have limitations to what you can achieve and how far you can go without having that education.

Education also differs to some, you don’t need to be in class to get the best of education needed to create value. Even people out of school do create value. Just know what you’re good at  and invest more in yourself into getting better in that aspect, and with time you’ll become a master of it and get to share values you’ve embedded yourself in. Self development is important and once you’ve been able to do that, getting to provide value ideas becomes easier since that’s what you’re best good at and can perform very well on it.

What that is most important is to invest in oneself.

The process involved with investing in yourself is very stressful, or should I say difficult, such that when some people think about it, they just quit from the beginning.

I think this is dependent on the kind of approach a person is building himself.  If he forces himself to build a foundation on the field that he hates most, then it would be greatly stressful but if he build his foundation on the field he likes best, he would enjoy it and the possibility of great result is very high.  We are more tolerant of hard work when we are doing things that we have a huge interest in.

For instance, if you want to invest in yourself by learning a new skill, you will have to commit daily to learning something until you are able to move from novice to master. You see, that kind of commitment is what some people know they lack, and hence choose to ignore investing in a skill.

I agree, to be able to improve, one needs dedication and patience, as they say, practice makes perfect.

If it is an educational qualification, when some people think of not even the fees but the effort they will need to put into reading, researching, and learning to be able to get that certification, they quit from the beginning and choose to be okay with what they have.  

If it is fitness and health goals, when some people think of the effort they will need to put into the daily workout routines and the quitting of unhealthy foods, they just quit from the beginning.

Because these people have thought about the process and not the goal, they have not been able to become more valuable from investing in themselves.

With this, when people are not interested on the task and thinks it is a burdern, motivation keeps them going.  So it is a matter of what they value the most, their lazing around or their future. And yeah those who look at the process and give up on the thought of the hardwork are near sighted, they don't look at the long run where they can enjoy the fruit of their labor of improving themselves.

For now, we are required to do this because when we do not have a value that we can be proud of, we will be lost and cannot survive, let alone to make life conditions better, it will not be possible.

But when our value continues to be upgraded then this can be one way to open our way because even though it may not be like a billionaire or even more but we can still make the quality of life better.
Sometimes people forget an important condition where they only focus on what they do but don't want to add value to themselves or don't want to upgrade themselves which makes them only get tired but can't change the circumstances that occur for their economic and living conditions.

To continuously increase our value, we should invest in ourselves or acquire new skills. We value ourselves through our work and skills. Especially in different places, sometimes our value can increase depending on a position or a job. We should acquire the right skills or qualifications to achieve that value and try our best to get that place. The best way to increase our value is to expect great things from ourselves and work accordingly. We should never stop investing in ourselves, and do not always determine our value based on money or always work for money.

What's interesting, however, is that investing in yourself and making yourself valuable may not be the same. When we create value through education, for example, or learning new skills, whose value or standard are we using as basis? Is it ours or is it the businessmen's? Is it truly your desire that matters or it is the market's?

I'm afraid the sad truth is that skills and education are often learned, honed, for the sake of the demands of businesses and capitalists. Is it necessarily for your self's personal enrichment and fulfillment? Oftentimes, it isn't. Personally, if I'm really thinking of investing in myself, it involves endless vacation and pursuit of sports and arts.

Can't agree more with this. The safest investment that one can make is always the investment in self-growth. At least this is the easiest way for someone afraid to deal with stocks, crypto, and other investments that bear risks of losing their money without receiving anything in return.
At the end of the day, our self-value is what matters the most. Once established, there's no way the knowledge you learned can be stolen from you, and without even realizing it, you'll become a money-making machine.

I can always relate to this as I continue upskilling in the world of online jobs. With how high the competition in this industry is today, you will going to have a hard time landing one if you don't have enough knowledge or skills. So, outside of crypto, I'm also a man who's dedicated to pouring some funds into whatever I think I could enhance and expand my skills. So, if anything goes sideways with my assets, at least I have myself, who's been valuable enough to generate consistent income.

What that is most important is to invest in oneself. I mean learn daily and improve yourself in knowledge and experience. There is nothing better than this.

The second will then be your business. But life also needs to come with opportunities. Exposure can be very helpful and it can make opportunities come nearer to you but your knowledge is very important in seeing the opportunities earlier and able to grab it.

If was asked what is the most important thing to invest into oneself, I would say value, self respect and dignity. And for you to achieve all these, you must invest your time and put a lot of effort, or money into the things that makes you grow better and developed. Even if that's leaning a new skills, taking good care of your health, or building a mindset that helps you to tackle challenges.

As a business person it is important that people get the value for their money, and who you are speaks volume even in your absence.

As a business person there's never too much when it comes to self growth, upgrading yourself, and staying up with trends. You don't have to stick to what you learnt years back when the world is evolving every single day, I made a simple meal for some group of person's and trust me when I say that the reviews I saw was shocking,  some people met me later and was asking me for classes and guidance towards achieving that same meal I made. There's something about value  and especially when you're consistent about what you do, stay on that particular thing that your good at, keep upgrading and redeveloping yourself anytime the opportunity comes.

Regardless of who you're or what you're into, it's important you keep up with trends, ask questions, keep learning and stick to what you're good at, you don't have to be everything. I notice that people can switch at anytime especially if they see who offer's better value for their money hence, the reason to stay consistent and also redeveloping yourself matter's.

Value creation has a lot of determinant which includes ability of assimilation, location and interest. Value creation is not just what anyone does but it requires readiness of the mind that comes with a lot of questions which may start with a WHY. Why should I improve in knowledge, then you consider your learning skill because the truth be told, is not everybody that understands very fast. This will help you with the calculations of when the you will be done with improving either your educational experience or skilled experience. Location I said it's very important in this quest, our location is also a major factor considering the area we needed. What I wanted can it make wave around my location or where can I feature very well and where can the knowledge needed begotten then the area of interest.
Haven considered all this I think the value added will never be a waste knowing that no knowledge is a waste but remember that in the world of today knowledge gain are meant to produce positive results.

No matter how knowledgeable you are if you don’t have skills or any creative sense to offer for money, then you are not complete in my opinion. You can have knowledge and have no practical knowledge to apply on the theoretical knowledge you have, and because of that, some people with less theoretical knowledge but with good skills and perfection will have more chance of have jobs than you because they already have the experience and knows exactly what is needed at the right time.

Creativity and skills are very important because take for instance in this forum, if you have good marketing skills, you will get hired for job, and if you also have good knowledge of web design, and programming knowledge, you will have more jobs to do because your skills are highly needed in the market. Therefore, learn skills and enjoy more money.

They created value. The value didn't disappear. It has become reproducible, in economic terms that is to say, cheap.

What annoys me is the implied contract: work hard, develop skills, you will be fine. But value isn't intrinsic. It is temporary and relational. The barista who prepared my coffee this morning generates value. I am caffeinated, active, not killing anybody before 10am. The society has determined that to be worth $15/hour. The consultant who told a firm to shrink generated value as well, shareholders became even richer. He made $400/hour. Both created value. One can pay rent.

I do not object to learning or development. I'm against the notion that your worth is something that you build through effort because that means if you're struggling, you didn't build enough. The building is not always important. Sometimes the ground shifts. And pretending otherwise just makes people blame themselves for structural indifference.

Investing in oneself is definitely the best anyone can give to himself, be it acquiring more knowledge via education or improving on a skill or learning a new skill. This investment remains with you forever and also sets you at a value, which in turn improves your finances.

One of my rich friend told me I couldn't join him when he has a meet up with someone because I had no value to offer in the conversation not because was not intelligent but I had to specialty that they will want to be in conversation with me, I felt it and then from there I started discovering myself and totally I have become a different person who they seem for advice from, the same group I wasn't fit in because of I had to person value in there today they can't afford to do without my opinion. self discovery and investment will change the course.

You're offering a service, and you have to be valuable to offer that service. Everybody who has been successful offers something to the world. If you study to become a surgeon, for example, you didn't study to do it on yourself; you have to practice it on others. The same goes for every other profession or field. Your desire drives you to invest in yourself so that you can be valuable to the market.
Even if you invest something, that thing is not for you alone; if you hope to be successful from that invention, it's for the market.

Be it a socialist or communist society, you learn skills, get an education for the sake or demand of the market. There is no way you can be successful if you don't have anything to offer to the market. It doesn't matter what it is, but it should be something that a group of people want.

I don't think that is what "investing in yourself means. That's kind of like enjoying life or living your best life. Investing in yourself means making yourself better. It can be investing in your health (reduce smoking, alcohol, eat healthier, exercise, etc), your social life (how you interact with people and all), your career, your skills, etc.
In this context, what OP is referring to is your career or skill.

Do we? I have seen way too many people here that do not create any value at all in life, and for some reason they think that they deserve some money, even though they do nothing. Spamming posts is not a good reason to be worth money or it is not a way to create value, it's useless and it's only annoying and no idea why and how they make money that way.

Some people do create value in life and they do make money, some make as much as they deserve, some more, some less but they all have a value that they bring to the table, but not "all" people have that. The market is open and can be abused by anyone in the crypto world, you think those 150 mobile phone farmers spamming airdrops really do worth anything at all? To me they worth zero.

Funny enough one can creat value from anything, you can start by investing in oneself inorder to stand out in the society it could be in any form financially or otherwise and thus value creation has so much impacts on the person and people around them, for instance you having people looking up to you as a mentor but then starting off with oneself is always the best value one can create.

That's why a lamborghini only has 2 seats and a bus has 50 seats, in order to be rich you need to learn, learn takes time and you will have no time for friendship, not to mention the rich people also don't want to engage with people that they find have lower value.

Without giving value it is not easy to survive, you must give something of value no matter how small or big to exchange for wealth and money. If you don't have anything to offer it won't be easy to survive, by not giving value you are inviting poverty to yourself. With the way most economies are being affected by inflation it has become necessary to have atleast two skills that can fetch you money. It means that if you give more than one value you can get reward of more values also people should improve on the value they give. Being value driving is key to becoming successful in our societies.
