In which Sport do you prefer to bet?

Basketball, tennis and occasional e-sports. I’m surprised that cricket has much larger fan based compared to Basketball but I realized that it’s popular on country that has huge number of population such as India that’s why it can dominate the sports world.

Sports that I’m betting are very popular in my country so it has a lot of broadcast and news that covers this sports compared on other sports that listed.

It’s much easier to bet on sports that I’m familiar with.

I love Basketball most especially when it's NBA games, I like Ncaa too but I don't like the way they behave unprofessional sometimes. I just kind of love Basketball, you don't have to rely on over 2.5, under 1.5 in football where you will have to be praying. In Basketball, the aim of the two teams is to win by a wide margin across each quarter, it's easy to predict an over or under in any of the quarter, half or full game. The best of it is the fact that you get lower line.

However, some casino are very wicked, when they notice that it's becoming so easy to win basketball games, they increase the high line, that's when you start praying for teams to give you 2 or 3 points even after they have tried their best. Anytime I notice their tactics to increase the line, I know it's the best time for me to leave the basketball and focus on football until the bookmakers decide to bring down the line lower to make it easier to win.

How about you? Which sport do you usually place your bet on and why?

I get a different kind of fun by betting on football and cricket. I don't have much interest in other sports. And I always watch games with my friends and we all bet more or less, so the game days are spent in a very festive atmosphere. My friends and I are together, we bet on runs, wickets, or how many goals will be scored in a given period, and in many other ways.

It was interesting to see that Europeans take the lead in most team sports, although I personally like soccer and definitely bet on it the most, so I'd put ice hockey in second place. Third place wouldn't be on my list because I'm equally interested in the other sports, and I don't bet on basketball because I don't really like it. Tennis is also not on my list, although I've heard that many professional bettors prefer it, probably because they feel superior or have the edge needed to bet profitably.

Before, I only bet on basketball mainly NBA parlays and I rarely bet on PBA which is our local basketball league here in the Philippines.
But when I joined the sponsored pools here on bitcointalk, I didn’t just focus on basketball anymore. I also started betting on football, especially the English Premier League, which we all know is one of the most popular leagues in the world.

I also tried eSports like Dota 2, but only in major tournaments such as PGL and The International.

Its no surprise that the first four has the highest number of fans, football would always be the at the top and as time goes on it's only going to keep on growing. I prefer to bet on football because it's the sports game that I have come to understand more than others, basketball is also cool but I only bet on it when I copy bets from others, soccer is actually the only sport I know how to analyze very well

My bet is mostly football because that's the sport that is mostly common in my country. Where I come from every community has a football field and almost every street has a place were they play football. Those that don't have play it on less busy roads. Every government schools has a football field so it was practically impossible for you to grow up in my country without having football knowledge. Every evening we know we're to assemble to play football even without phone calls back then. Football is the most dominant sport in my region this influenced my betting on football.

Mine is only football not that I don't like other sports but i feel a bit balanced while betting on football games especially the English premier league and Spanish la liga where I recognize as home of experience. Football betting looks a bit easy to predict more than that of other games even if not for any reason but because it has different options to bet on which I consider an edge towards winning, Which we know is not like other sports activities that has limited options to bet on.

How about you? Which sport do you usually place your bet on and why?

I'm betting whenever I play basketball in my area and it's not really a coincidence that I'll be drawn to basketball sports betting because I really like to predict it. For me, basketball is probably in my DNA because almost all my family are into it and they love it as well. Most watched sports in my childhood days was also basketball and damn every barangay here has its own basketball court.

Soccer/football. Mostly because I am from Latin America and football is very popular here, so one's inevitably ends up getting involved with that sport either by practicing it or watching it live on TV. Also, it is a market which have much liquidity and most of bookies will offer many matches at the same time for one's favorite league, so one always have options to bet in.

i would also feel like betting on political events happening within this continent, specially in the United States, but that is kind out of the scope of this thread.

I avoid boxing because it is way easier for criminals to fix those encounters and get away with it.

I often bet on football. I have known and played football since I was a child. I have a favorite team and friends who are fans that I can watch games with. 
Most of the friends who live in my neighborhood also bet on football, besides playing slots, which are also popular right now. 
Sometimes I also make bets on other sports, but not as often as I bet on football. There is definitely a tendency for bettors to place bets on sports that they really enjoy.

I think many gamblers have placed bets on football, as it is the most popular sport and easily accessible to everyone, including myself. Meanwhile, I enjoy watching boxing matches and similar sports, but only certain bouts featuring big names, and I rarely bet on those matches.

In my opinion, because I understand football better, analyzing the available odds feels easier, and this is why I prefer betting on football. Even though the winning percentage isn’t very high, analyzing each team's chances sometimes provides its own kind of satisfaction. Of course, everyone has their own preferences, and it’s possible that many gamblers also bet on almost all of the sports mentioned.

Mostly, it's about basketball mainly in the NBA. I'm not yet ready to get into other sports and that's why aside from esports, I'm recently betting in basketball games. Maybe soon, if there are sometime that my interest gets me to another one, maybe I'll get into it as well.

Although I enjoy trying new things and even bet on less popular sports, my preference is to bet on sports whose rules I know, not that I'm an expert, but I bet on soccer and basketball. I believe it's good to have variety; less popular sports have interesting payouts.

I always prefer to bet on basketball and specifically the NBA. It is the sport I enjoyed the most as an athlete and it is the sport I enjoy watching the most as a fan. I could argue that I spent more time playing baseball and was a much more skilled athlete on the diamond than the court, but fun is fun and baseball is boring.

I prefer to bet on soccer games than any other sport, well, lets just say that it is because I'm a sports fan and u feel like it is more entertaining to bet on the matches that I'm watching. Although I look forward to exploring other types of sport games like volleyball, ice hockey, tennis and so on, I haven't really had the time to start studying these games. When it comes to sports betting it actually involves a lot of skill application but this doesn't guarantee profit it just helps you to reduce the losses that you incur overtime and it helps if ou couple it with risk management

70% is football and 30% is boxing.footbal is easier because there are more teams that I understand and it's a little easier to predict the outcome, and there are more games per season.Boxing is a little more difficult because I only follow two athletes and their fights are much less frequent, so I bet less often. To be honest, other sports are not very interesting to me, and I rarely pay attention to them.

For me, my love for football will never end, and I honestly can not give an acurrate answer as to why I love football, maybe because it's the most popular type of sports around here in Africa and in my country, and as such, it's the sports I grew up to meet before I began learning about the availability of other sports.

I used to love wrestling so much, I mean so much that I can't go anyday without watching a match in the evening when i get home from work, but a couple of years back, I learnt that most of the stunts the wrestlers perform are not real, I also learnt that the matches are heavily fixed, where in every match, it's already been concluded who would win before the match begins, I learnt about all this as regards to wrestling and it made me automatically hate the sports,

Most often on soccer, which is indeed the most popular sport in the world, and also the one I personally understand best. I have been familiar with all the technical nuances of soccer since childhood; in fact, I have been familiar with this sport for more than three decades and even played it a little myself as a child. I also bet on ice hockey, which I see as another top sport in the world, and not by chance, because hockey is very spectacular, but I think it is less predictable. It often happens that the favorite can lose to the underdog, which is very rare in soccer. I also bet on tennis. I understand the rules well, but in terms of predictability, it is not the easiest sport either.

I bet on cricket because it's the only sports I understand, and you are right, Asia is biggest market for cricket, and from those 2.5B people, you can count 1.4B Indians because I don't think you'd find a single Indian who doesn't know cricket.
