Why do people keep using sportsbooks that limit you when you win?

I’ve always wondered this.

Most crypto bettors I talk to complain that the moment you show even a small profit, some books slash your limits to pennies. Same treatment card counters got back in the day — win a little and suddenly you’re “restricted.”
What I don’t get is why people keep using those books.

Is it just brand loyalty? Casino features? Habit? Streamers?

There are crypto books now that don’t do this at all — bet105 is one example that shows limits openly and doesn’t adjust them based on whether you win or lose. Pinnacle-style.

But most bettors still choose operators that punish sharp action.

Curious why the majority stays with the limiting books instead of shifting toward places that treat everyone the same.

I am betting with small amount of money, so I do not know about what you are saying. Are there bookies that you know that are doing this? I have only heard about it before but I have not seen it.

I can only speak for myself; the only thing which could make me not stop using a particular casino is if that casino is not yet popular for their behaviour, and they could also be selective scammers. If some people are not yet directly affected, there is no way you can convince them to stop using where they find peace personally.

Most providers that I have seen limit players are limiting the players that are betting the smaller leagues only that have a high chance of fixed games. Basically cheaters being limited. I have been betting for 11 years now and not once have I been limited, I am not up millions either so maybe that's the reason. I do only bet the big popular leages in the sports I bet, not looking to gain an edge on the books and steal.
