The lesson I have learnt in this thread is that we should endeavor to diversify our coin into different wallet, sothat when things like this happen and you are mandated under gun point to reveal your secret phrase, you will just give them access to the wallet that has little amount while the wallet with huge Bitcoin will not be tampered.

Secondly don't make yourself known to the public that you have Bitcoin in your possession or revealing any kind of Bitcoin identity. Sometimes we think we are safe but don't know that our speach when we are with people outside are been targeted. The most important thing is that we should be security conscious in terms of our Bitcoin holding because when your secret is open to others, it raise a threat to your security system.

Are you a miner or how do you earn your bitcoins? let's us remove the bitcoins we earn from partaking in signature campaigns in the forum where nobody knows the identity of each other. Have you really done a job for someone and they offered to pay you in bitcoins? let us just consider a scene where you did a job in real life and the person requested to pay you in bitcoins or you both agreed you will receive the payment in bitcoins and if it involves a huge amount of money don't you think that your privacy can be jeopardize by that person after the transaction has been made to you? these are the scene am talking about the possibility of falling for thieves and criminals.
     Let's also consider a scene where bitcoin has been adopted globally and people can now receive their salaries in bitcoins will you tell me that your privacy cannot be breached when your employer can track your wallet and know how much you have in your portfolio? what if they have bad intentions towards you don't you think you are not safe? those are some of the examples why i said we cannot completely guide ourselves from being attacked. You don't need to tell people how much you are holding but someone who have done transactions with you in bitcoins and knows your wallet address can still know how much you have even if you move the funds to another wallet. I have tracked someone's wallet before and saw how much in the balance, what if it was someone i know and i have bad intentions is it not possible to send thieves to attack him?

Charles-Tim did not say he will buy a gun here in Nigeria, he said if he were to be in the United States he would get a gun, United state has a less gun restriction law so it will be easier to get a gun in the United States than Nigeria.
Also even if you can’t get a gun in Nigeria maybe get a licensed body Guard who has the permit to own a gun although not everyone can afford such service so anonymity is cheaper for many.

Honestly when it come that one person have such amount of Bitcoin the best thing is to diversify into a different wallet for the safety, and then keep the all the secret phrase in a place that  will be only to access to it to avoid scam from unknown people. If to say the person applied the same method as you explain earlier i think it will only lose a little amount of bitcoin, and after a while they can settle down and arrange their wallets back in a normal way.

There’s some of the people that don’t care about their privacy and that’s why such things happen to them, and this life we’re living in now not everybody we will be telling our secrets. This is a very good lesson and it’s very important if one is holding a big sum of cryptocurrency in their wallets. Having an alternate wallet is a very good move cause it’ll save you from a lot in such cases.

Also while we’re protecting our wallet size details from the public, we should also try not to make our wallet addresses public cause once it’s public, someone can trace it and see how much funds is in it that’s by calculating your transaction history.

You can use new addresses for each transaction and for additional security on your online presence use VPNs and Tor. Some people use mixers to enhance their privacy.

Please don’t miss understand me that why at the start of my post I made it clear for him not to misunderstand what I have just said.. I guess u didn’t pay attention while reading the comments, and also I was just stating that having to own a gun in this country without a government license jail made be the preson second name that was wat i was saying, we all no how the government are against the poor having shots guns to protect them self, but it already clear that in UK it welcome to have a license registered gun for hunting animals and for protection, and aslo let say the turth here having a live body guard is not something any poor person can boost to have so I will admit it a wrong idea to have one.
