Yes. Slots are purely luck while sportbets needs some level of skill and information to make the right decision. I haven't really seen anyone that said I'm good in slot games though I have seen people that have made more from slot than sport but it isn't based entirely on skill but luck.

Sports betting is better if you like betting on sports and you have a good analysis to improve your skills but not all gambler have that kind of skills that’s why many still preferred slot games over sports betting because they don’t required skills win, just pure luck.

It’s a matter on who is the one choosing the game that fits to his preference or situation.

In terms of pure entertainment, my pick will be slot since it’s more enjoyable to play it than sports betting.

In my opinion, the comparison between slots and sports betting is always interesting because both have very different characteristics. Slots are purely based on luck, with a high house edge, and in many cases your money can disappear much faster.
There’s no strategy, no data to analyze you just spin and hope to win. That’s why big wins in slots are usually rarer, but when they hit, they can be very large.

Not with slots for me but with plinko and it's not about what is more profitable to me. But it's about what I enjoy more. While for me, I am enjoying both sports betting, plinko, slots and other casino games. If I'm going to tally the records that I've got with these, I don't think that I'm near to at least some profit with either of these. I'm in deep losses if all are combined and I can't calculate how much in total I've lost already. More with both plinko and sports betting. I have got some break and that's why those losses have slowed down.

It's easier to win in sports bet, but it doesn't mean that you will earn big in a single bet. Some bookies gave previous statistics of the team/player which is why they come up on such odds and that is your reference to chose your bet.
On sports bets don't provide higher profit on single bet (ofc it depends on bet amount) as it need some analyzation (well you can just bet based on odds too).

While on games like slots, winning big is possible if you hit xxx multiplier, like your $1 can be $120 after the multiplier. On sportsbet your $1 can just earn $0.8. But the chances of winning between this two is different.
Just like i said in sportsbets its easy to win but profit is less. Slots its harder to win but the profit of every win is much bigger. Just balance.

It's okay bro, it's not really that popular anymore but years ago it was. I set myself some budget and it usually not that big at all. I can give a range for that, the biggest lose from me was just $50-$100. And after that, I became more cautious about losing that much and that's on a daily basis. Maybe soon, if the price of Bitcoin gets higher, that's when I'd be wild again with my potential losses and more to gamble within a day.

It's better only in the sense that your bet on a sports match isn't blindly reliant on luck. Meaning, there's basis in your bet actually winning. There's analysis behind your bet. Whether you're actually profitable in this or not is another issue.

The point is that unlike slots which is totally random as far as the results are concerned and that your predictions are almost of zero basis, sports betting allows you to weigh several factors that directly affect the results.

Whether you're losing big or small in either choice doesn't debunk the claim that betting on sports is better than slots in certain respects.

Plinko I believe has around 1% house edge, and yet people still gamble on slots more than Plinko. I think it’s just the trend. People play what’s popular, not what has the lower house edge. No one really questions if one game is worse than another.

Absolutely, I don't think anyone is better because what I like doing the next person may not really like doing it and what the next person will love doing I may not also love doing it so it depends on individual the one they select but anyone someone select means they like it more than the other but that doesn't generally mean that one is better but rather it's best for that particular person and so for me I like playing sports betting because I kinda understands it more than slots and in slots one can lose as much as possible if you are not been careful there.

Sports betting is more calculated than slot games. Sometimes you can have real attempt to win in sports and if you reduce your risk in sports you have a higher chance of winning. Like iff you see a game you feel it is a sure winning for you, you can choose to be double chance it to reduce and avoid the risk of losing and most times you end up winning it though at a low profit. That is, you can analyse sports more than slots which is specifically by spinning, no skill. I have won more in sports especially with soccer, I'm not a fan of spinning. Spinning is not analytical and you only have chance to win base on your luck.

I don't compare sports betting and slots. I guess both is not works good for me. Those with knowledge of sports betting say it is profitable for them because they can make money. Well, I think I have answered this question in some similar thread a couple of times, the answer remains the same, sports betting is my favorite and I started sports betting even before I enter casino games, and based on my experience, I have made more profit in sports betting than slot games, tho I have some favorite slots games that I love playing and I do make profit sometimes but not as much as in sports betting and also, while betting on sports games, I can stake with an amount I wouldn't spin with on slot, so that's also a reason why I get more profit on slot because high stake and high reward.

I also like sports betting more than casinos. In sports betting, it is easy to guess about the result if you have enough knowledge about the game and the players. But in the case of casino or slot betting, Own skills do not work. For example, in the case of cricket or football, I know how a team plays, so I have a lot of advantage in betting, I can predict the result a lot in advance. For example, in cricket, if play Australia vs Zimbabwe, I can say with certainty that Australia will win because I have fully knowledge of the quality of play by the Australian and Zimbabwean players. You're right, whichever is the trend, the people flocks in there to have fun and do what others as they say. That's why even if there is a difference in the house edge, people choose to gamble what's more popular than of what they should really have preferred based on the percentage of the house edge. But it's no longer a concern of many gamblers, whatever they choose and makes them happy they're up for it. And that's the same with sportsbetting, my approach there is I don't mind the house edge even if it's 1% or more or less. As long as I know what I am betting on and the odds are favorable to me, I'd bet and put some money in it since it's a winnable gamble due to analysis and some research can be conducted to help increase the chance of winning.

Better in what way? I can guarantee you that we are talking about a situation where it's all based on preference of people. There is no certain data that we can check to see if one is better than the other, they are all the same. If you are talking about just purely from monetary perspective, then they both have house edge which means if you gamble long enough then in both of them you are going to lose money.

If we are talking about just how much enjoyment, then it depends on who you are, my wife prefers slots, I prefer sports. So there is no reason to think that one is better than the other, they are all the same thing and if you enjoy one of them more than the other then that is all that matters to you anyways.

Better or worse is just asking people for their opinion.  I would say the two things are very different and appeal to different people.  Sports betting might be for guys who used to play sports and follow them now.  They want to use their knowledge to try and make money while increasing their joy during the game.  Slots players tend to just want to waste a lot of time and do a mind numbing exercise with the hope that maybe it will change their life with a windfall of cash.  They seem to be on separate ends of the gambling spectrum.
