It doesn't take a lot of brains to realize that gambling isn't something more than a game. And if you take it too seriously sooner or later you will be met with serious losses.

Those of us that want to keep playing have come to the realization that playing amounts have to be adjusted to your needs and therefore sometimes we have to keep it on the low. Winning is a blessing but you can't really expect it on rely on something that isn't likely to happen.

What I think is that, those that have problems with gambling, approach gambling with a wrong mindset, while we have the chance to make some winnings in gambling and earn money, we shouldn't make profit making as the center of our aim or goals for gambling.

Entertainment, fun and relaxation is what gambling is all about and we should always treat it that way, because anything outside that, will can lead us to some bad situations and outcomes.

Gambling is not something anyone should take serious, because it is a game for fun and for entertainment nothing more than that. But it's funny what the world has turn into, where in some countries people are now taking gambling very serious like their daily Jobs, they can't even skip a day without gambling, why because gambling has become their source of income very bad, and this attitude of seeing gambling as a source of income is what had made a lot person's to become addicted to gambling, and depressed. Gambling is a game of luck and should always be treated as such but some people try to make a career out of it and this only turns out to be problematic for them. Gambling was originally created for recreational purposes. People are just supposed to stake an amount they can afford to lose and enjoy the game but now that's not how people gamble, they stake high amounts aiming for huge rewards which isn't right

Gambling is all about fun but the vast majority of people that are into gambling are just there to make money through it and not ready to accept it for fun. This is where the problem originates from that led people into having depression in them when it comes to gambling. They get their minds into it so much that after placing any bet, they’re already calculating the outcome of it and how they can spend the money and probably scale up their lifestyle. Some go as far as borrowing money to fund their addiction for it but all ends up in depression and of course regrettable actions. Gambling for fun is very much better for you as a gambler than to gamble for enriching yourself, it will only make you lose money if not managed well and lead to depression.

If you gamble for fun you won’t be depressed and addicted and you will gamble responsibly.
I saw a post where the OP said it’s possible to have long serial winnings and asked people to share ideas to make that happen and the OP shared his idea, the OP wants to make a living out of gambling he has thought about it and is sure it is possible but all ideas shared on the thread won’t make him make a living out gambling.

Permit me to say that nowadays it is very hard to see people gambling Just for fun, even though they might be enjoying the fun when the game is still running but when they discovered that the outcome didn't work as they expected at the end, at that point in time they will no longer find it funny. Although I know that most countries has a large number of fun gamblers but I'm speaking for my country, here you barely see a gambler taking gamble as a means of fun.

And I don't necessarily blame those that are gambling for profit making because not everyone that will be happy to see themselves throwing away thier money almost everytime.

Your skill will require a level of concentration, and that concentration is possible only when you take something seriously. You can't change the people's mind towards gambling because where someone has staked their own valuable on the aim of winning, it doesn't matter if they're playing it for fun or profits, they'd allow take it serious and give all possible best they can to make sure they wins.

Well, there are different types of games to consider when talking about how should be interpreted, because you could be having fun and losing a lot of money or you could be having fun and might even win the lottery on one good day.

Where gambling isn't much fun is when you play something like sports betting that requires some skill of the history of data of previous match analysis, risk management practice and others like you have mentioned and that tests your IQ, then you will understand you were just losing a lot of funds to the gambling platform all because you were having fun.

Gambling is suppose to be for fun, and not a source of income, if you need peace of mind, then just gambling for fun, but if you want to be frustrated, then gamble for the sake of money. The problem which most people are always having is that they just want to be making money from gambling, they taking gambling as their main source of income which is the reason why most of them do end up getting addicted to gambling.

What do you even mean gambling tests one's Intelectual Coefficient? that is a completely made up thing, man.
No game being offered on a casino has something to do one's intelligence, even a brainless person who does not even know how to do math can press a button and roll dices or spin endlessly on slots. There is no intelligence required in order to be a gambler, otherwise, there would not be so many gamblers on the world who waste both their time and money on games which just provide them with dopamine.

Why does it lead to violence? It could be from losses in gambling. Why does it lead to debt? From gambling again.

There are many ways that a person could suddenly change his/her behaviour because of losses in gambling. They took it seriously. That's the problem. Casino games, especially, must not be taken seriously. It's a form of entertainment where we could risk a bit of money, and not as a job to make us rich in minutes.

I seriously don't know the essence of this discussion in the first place... What exactly does the OP want to achieve from this? We've literally been discussing topics to like "risk in gambling", "gambling what you can afford to lose", "if gambling is all for fun or for the money" etc. Can we just talk about something more refreshing instead?

The problem that always happens is when we are in the midst of gambling we are carried away in a situation where emotions become a very difficult thing to change which makes gambling that is intended for pleasure must be damaged because of the momentary emotions we have.

Not a few gamblers do things like this where they want to have fun in gambling but instead end up with an addiction that they cannot avoid because they are carried away in the midst of the gambling they do.
On the other hand, for now we must also be aware that there are not a few gamblers who make gambling as a thing that is indeed considered a fate changer which makes in the end the intention of having fun only becomes a camouflage so that they are not considered gamblers in a way that is actually wrong.
