Of course bitcoin is a reliable asset that have always proven to people that it takes more than just a little market dip to shut it down. I'm still surprised why some are still having doubt about it. Bitcoin is an asset that adds value over time and people who make the most of it are long term holders. Many of this whale investors are aware of this and it's potential that's why they are not holding back and the market dip doesn't even bother them because they know it's temporary. Dips are to be seen as an opportunity to buy more at a cheaper rate but most regular investors are being skeptical and scared when there is a dip.

Institutions buying is a positive move but deciding to buy just because others are doing it is not ideal, rather you should research and have your personal reasons to keep buying. Knowing the news surrounding Bitcoin and why they are buying is more ideal IMO.

Yes, Bitcoin is a reliable asset for those who have knowledge about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general. But for those who do not have knowledge about Bitcoin, it will be difficult for them to invest, because they lack understanding and will never know the importance of that importnat of bitcoin investment.

The reason why we have not seen mass adoption of Bitcoin is because some governments in certain countries have made Bitcoin illegal and restrict their citizens from using it. This action has prevented many people from adopting Bitcoin or doing further research about it.

But I believe a time is coming when almost everyone will want to invest in Bitcoin. A few years before I started my Bitcoin investment, I also doubted Bitcoin for some period and the reason was my lack of knowledge, despite the fact that Bitcoin has proven to be a good asset.

Arguably, this is the future that most big bitcoin investors have looked up to and and anything that happens going forward is just a solidification of what is already happening at the moment. in terms of being aware of the potential of bitcoin in the future, not just the elite knows about it potential, every other investor is aware that bitcoin is the future of finance and that is part of the reason why even in a time when it appears as though the price of bitcoin is coming down, investors are ever getting involved and continually remaining comitted in investing in bitcoin.

It is truly amazing how some elite institutions are doubling down on Bitcoin, while most people are still unaware. MicroStrategy is still the largest public holder of BTC, having been slowly accumulating coins for years.

The real goal of enthusiastic holders like us is to achieve global acceptance, to keep it in self custody, &  to make it accessible to the general public, not just the big companies.

I wonder when we will stop talking about these set of individuals who for some reasons still doubt Bitcoin. Like this is 2025 for crying out loud. We're a few years away from hitting two decades of existence, and Bitcoin is still standing strong while it's price still keeps increasing. Of course, people will doubt, people will ask questions, but I wonder why this same set of people continue to doubt something for nearly two decades, without seeing a need to admit that they were all wrong from the start. A typical human behavior of not admitting there own mistake I guess.

If we look into the quantum attack that will occur to some expose BTC public wallet entropy and a lot of misinformation spread by people to cause FUD, we can't blame some people for not investing in or holding Bitcoin. There are logical reasons why many people did not like Bitcoin in 2009. Because it was a digital currency at that time, people did not know what its dynamics would be. Yes you’re right it’s never too late to begin the journey of bitcoin. That is the more reason why I never panic even when the bitcoin price falls. We’ve seen how it falls and rose beyond even our expectation. In 2020 if you tell me bitcoin will be worth $100k in 2025, honestly I would have doubted but it just happened and with they way I’m projecting it, bitcoin would one day get to $1m

Therefore if you want to secure the future, you have to also consider investing in the bitcoin.

No one can know all things about the future, just have their belief and speculations on what likely will happen in the future. The Bitcoin ogs got bitcoins very easily and with very cheap prices but it does not mean they did not take risk, sacrifice anything for accepting bitcoins and buy coins years ago. They are ogs and also heros by accepting a new thing with risk acceptance, and most important some of them (not all of them) had plans to withdraw their bitcoins with time.

The Bitcoin ogs who manage to hold bitcoins till 2025 are truly legends by having solid plans on bitcoin withdrawal. It does not help them anything by buying bitcoin very early but also sold those coins many years ago.

Don't blame the government anymore, they are not the main cause anymore as most have changed their stance and legalized it, not many countries ban bitcoin anymore. I would rather say that these large institutions have only recently realized the importance of bitcoin in the future. As a result, many large companies are now following in Microstrategy's footsteps.

However, the people in this forum were the first to realize how valuable Bitcoin will be in the future. Although in reality, only a few seem to have been holding since the early days until now. Most seem to have taken profits long ago. And are just trying to get back in. And continue to repeat the profits.

Personally, I was late to realize the importance of Bitcoin. However, at least I have been accumulating since Bitcoin dropped to $17k USD. So seeing the price rise and fall at the current level doesn't make me panic at all. The problem is, I don't know how long I can hold onto my Bitcoin. Although I know Bitcoin has a brighter future, sometimes we can't resist taking profits sooner.

It is too early to say that bitcoin will become an alternative to gold and become a safe haven, and there is nothing certain about that. The proof is that despite the widespread adoption of bitcoin, top corporations like Apple, Microsoft and global central banks still refuse to hoard it.

Also, even though Wall Street elite are pouring money into it and hoarding it in large quantities, there is no guarantee that they won't dump it en masse in the future. So their investment in bitcoin is a positive sign, but don't be complacent and put too much faith in them. They can buy it, they can also sell it whenever they want. They never considered it as gold, a reserve asset to be held long term. As evidence, in November alone, ETFs sold nearly $3 billion worth of BTC to the market, causing bitcoin to drop to $82k.

I guess there are also good number of regular individuals who have been eyeing to invest in bitcoin, but since their finances are not that stable to invest, they don't ignore bitcoin, but they just decide to delay their market entry.
