Most of us picked Anderson or N. Williams from Forest. But do you know who has the most tackles this year? It’s a hard guess don’t Google it like I did, so we can see if anyone knows . My captain is quite normal, I didn’t have the guts to risk it with a defensive captain.

Who is it? Probably a CP defender, and then it would be Mitchell? Maybe also Gudmundsson from Leeds.

I was due explanation for this. I looked at tackles stats in PL this season and decided this challenge has almost no merit. Nobody has more than 3 tackles per game and all players on the top of that list are terrible for other way to get points. So I just decided to ignore the challenge and pick people that will score points in regular ways.

Well yeah, but 3 tackles are 6 points. More than a goal - and they always tackle, whereas strikers don't always score

Next one is +1 point for every chance created, again not that important to pick players just because of the bonus.

Nothing special, I just googled something like premier league tackles. And what is worse I did that now once agin to show you the table and this time I got some other hits.

By this list, Palinha is first with about 5 tackles per game and there is a bit more good players on the list. Who knows what I looked first time. Was in a hurry and on mobile while on vacation 

Anyway, worked ok for me. Third place is respectable.

Found Opta stats now, Casemiro is not in the top 30. Not sure who does PL gather info from.
OPTA has Mitchell, Palhinha and Neco Williams in top 3. Mitchell is leading with 43, so 2 per game on average.

Any stats showing 5 or more per game count all attempted tackles, what we needed were successful ones.

There are two cups before next set of league fixtures. Most players will get rest in FA cup but I think everyone will play their full squads in League Cup semi final. Those are some strong teams left
