          So I suggest saving in bitcoin is better than saving in NGN(Nigeria naira), thought bitcoin price drop sometimes but it always picks back up and recover overtime. See the price of Bitcoin over the years, you would be amaze , and if you saved in Bitcoin since 2010 till now you would have a lot compared to have been saving in naira.

It is not  something new again that naira instability is getting out of hand it loses it value almost everyday the reason is that we are not a country that produces what we consume. There fore we import most of the things we consume, that has to do with forex and if you keep your savings in naira it tends to devalue even if you don’t use it cus as the dollar raises against the naira the exchange rate affects the value of your naira thereby depreciating it by some fraction
Therefore for Op is right it’s not advice to save money in naira that for a long time saving but if its for a short time use you can keep it in naira to avoid little charges from the exchange.

With few knowledge about Bitcoin investment and savings plan I'm pretty convinced to differentiate between this two distinctive category. You don’t need to go far back as 2010 before you get a perfect example to give. Even those that invested in bitcoin in 2024, at the end of 2025 they were still profitable in their bitcoin investment, this is something commendable and applaud over for Bitcoin as an asset of investment.

To precise, I wouldn't waste my time saving money in banks as I know that there lot inflation hit up our NGN, and not even only that seems to be a global pandemic over the period of years and thing has automatically changes, where a specific amount do no longer sustain and serve family a particular period of months and year.
Just imagine saving around 10m on bank and after 10 years your 10m can't even buy you something meaningfully, but you can saving all these amount in bitcoin and expect huge profits from 2 halving which could even profits you more than the person who saved his money in the bank.

I agree with you that bank interest is nothing to what BTC will give to you in four years time.  But the risk is the major problem many people are avoiding BTC, because you can tell when the massive bull will start or when the bear run will start for people to start buying BTC. You can invest half of your wealth on BTC because it has good rewards for those that will hodl BTC for long years before they can sell, and you have the authority over your BTC to release them to market anytime you want. There are some people who don't care about the interest bank will be giving them monthly, because they want their money to be save , and if anything happen to their money in the bank the bank will be hodl responsible.

I will prefer to leave some money in the bank and invest what I can afford to lose in BTC, because very easy for scammers to have access to some wallets to steal coins from some Bitcoiners wallet, and there is nothing to do to make the scammer to return the coins.
