Recently I came across this website that advertises itself as investment company.
https://maplewellscanada.trade
Archived version:
https://archive.is/RFi32Their website looks pretty legitimate on first look, but after digging a little deeper I found a bunch of red flags and enough evidence for scam accusation.
First red flag was their references. They have bunch of high profile companies in their reference section, but no real references what service did they provided for them. This was just one thing that caught my attention and made me dig a little deeper.
Second red flag was their referral program, why on Earth would someone with so many high end references need referral program that looked like inviting people in ponzi pyramid. No reasons given why would someone join just "Bring friends. Make money."
Third red flag, after which I was almost certain this is a scam, was bunch of vaguely defined "services" such as "Stocks with Cryptocurrency Advantages", "AI-Powered Live Signals Benefits", "Cryptocurrency Real Estate Benefits" - what does these terms even mean?
Fourth red flag that confirmed my suspicions was the team. Bunch of stock images with names with no digital footprint. No LinkedIn profiles, no bios, no previous experiences, nothing.
Fifth red flag was inconsistencies in their webpage and whois lookup data. On their webpage they claim that they are founded in 2011. (it means that they traded crypto when Satoshi was still around?), but whois data says that the webpage was registered in 2025. Pretty weird for 14 year old business. Of course, registrant name and information is hidden and "Redacted for privacy".
https://whois.domaintools.com/maplewellscanada.tradeSixth red flag is that their website address is:
https://maplewellscanada.trade
but their promo video on top on their webpage refers to webpage "maplewells.ca" which is defunct but it has horrible trustpilot reviews:
https://www.trustpilot.com/review/maplewells.caA lot of people witnessed that they were scammed by them. Seems to me that people behind this are serial scammers and that they reused promo materials of their old website.

tldr. If you found this accusation during due diligence research - skip "investment" in this company it is scam.
