This is an honest advice and I really back your idea, but in this case there are some of people that borrow money to invest hoping that it will give them profit in a very short time. Yup, and you need to have a strong backup strategy to avoid losing your money, there are traders who use these buy low, sell high in a very quick time frame but if ever they've been stuck they also have a back up plan that will hold and will the asset and let the market flow accordingy, as if the assets is really got solid future the value will increase eventually.

It's needed to have that good and clear mindset to prevent losing a lot or to avoid making mistakes when projecting the possible next market movement.

I also have the same perspective as you OP where the decline actually became a golden opportunity or moment for me to increase my accumulation to more, at first yes I was also worried that I would lose my assets slowly but when viewed from Bitcoin price data in the past it turned out that Bitcoin always managed to recover, even reaching a much higher ATH, this really changed my point of view and the point is as you say that the decline is a good opportunity for me.

When do investation we must ensure our emotion will not control our decision. As atools to achieve our financial goal, do not let investation add your life pressure or new source of your financial problem. Investation mindset must be build with deep understanding that we must well know each function, risk and consequence of each investation instrument. Every personal investor has its background, but me my self always emphasis on long term sustainability effect instead of instant result. Faster not always better.

Some people use short term investment to fullfill long term achievement purpose which caused emotion and short them target often ruined investation decision. yup, we can get more experience from short term investation but not all investor has mature thinking to do long term investatio, but overtime longterm investation mindset will be formed from asset allocation, risk management, discipline and rebalancing based on continuous review and evaluation on investation portofolio. Many people can't bear to see their their Bitcoin Value drop, they are bothered about their money, I know it's normal to feel that way but then when you invest with money you can afford to lose the fear of losing it reduces and it helps you to focus on your potential profit and makes it easier to stick to your investment plan and not compromise later.
