Hello. This is my first post.
My English isn’t perfect, but the information should be clear.

CASHBYTE runs as a Komodo smartchain, inheriting Zcash’s base structure.
Current block height: 24538.

The system caps supply at ~84 million units, with 2 million created at genesis to fund development and the real costs of exchange listings today.

The network uses a hybrid model:
• 55% of blocks validated by stake.
• 45% mined through Equihash.
Emission is 20 units per minute, halving every 3,000,000 blocks (~4 years).

Rationale

The hybrid model strengthens protection against 51% attacks. In 2025, early-stage PoW coins often face long periods with only a few miners or oversized pools, making pure PoW more vulnerable than in 2012–2014. Adding PoS mitigates that risk and stabilizes the network.

Subtle note: with fewer than 25k blocks, there are about 10 PoS validators and a handful of miners.
Current PoS APY is above 2300%, adjusting daily as more validators join. Early participation remains inexpensive, and both miners and validators are needed for network security.

The supply targets practical denominations and sufficient early liquidity. The premine reflects modern listing costs, unlike earlier years when a coin could grow without such barriers.

The project prioritizes tooling and usability. CASHBYTE already has a mobile-friendly WebWallet in nine languages, plus GUI wallets for Linux, Windows, and macOS.

Motivation

Mining various small projects showed that many had decent core tech but poor infrastructure. Basic usage often required outdated compilers or entire legacy systems just to run a wallet.

In 2010 - 2012 that difficulty was normal. In 2025 it shouldn’t be. A usable currency needs reliable tools, simple setup, and accessible interfaces. CASHBYTE aims to offer that from the beginning.
