but once game day comes it happens again suddenly I see something and think oh this looks safe or their momentum looks good let me try this & that’s it I end up placing another bet. The real problem is the temptation during the games sometimes it feels like you’re seeing an opportunity that’s too good to pass up but in reality it’s just an emotional bet that’s why once I’m done placing my planned bets I really need to close the app & stop checking the odds so I won’t get tempted sometimes it’s just really hard to control yourself when the excitement is there.

They have a high success rate because you're been lucky in the bets nothing more,they are junks bets because they are mostly unpredictable, you can't possibly determine the the outcome of the bets but most slightest chances of this bets usually amounts to something positive. As long as there is excitement and entertainment at the end, you have achieved your purpose of gambling even if you don't win much. Some of us just get lucky most of the time from games that we don't even put so much effort into predicting compared to the ones we spend almost the entire day predicting.

Don't crack me up please! How do you expect someone to have achieve his purpose with a loss in gambling? Are you really being serious here? I don't have this mentality that is why your post is looking so strange to me that believe that gamble is mostly fun when there is winning. I don't believe that someone can be losing money and catching fun in the process. If you are a slot player, you will understand the joy that comes with hitting jackpot, free spin and other bonuses that are given. Those are the things that gives me joy and not losing my money and coming back to make deposit again.

It sounds strange, and I understand why. Nobody ever feels too good and comfortable about losing, no matter how small the amount is, but I also still don't doubt those who say they genuinely just try a game to taste their skill with the little amount they can risk, and the thrill the game gives to them while they await the final result is enough for them.

Having a few bet is the best because it will limit your losses. Personally, the only time I consider myself having the best results in gambling is when I'm in profit or limited my losses. There's nothing you can do to give yourself the best results on your gambling activities because you're not in control of your win.

The more you gamble, the more losses you get. I hope you're not gambling for profit to avoid emotional truama.

The more limited I bet, the better. At least, I lose less. Some bettors can do an analysis and can confidently pick them up. Maybe if we are talking about underdogs in a game/team, then your phrase there can be applied because there are bettors that roots for them. It is either based on luck or done with analysis.

The success rate is almost the same for me. It is normal to feel it is difficult to resist on making such bets because the desire to win will be there.

So if you feel no difference at all between your serious/main bet and your random bets, then maybe you are not really giving your best when you analyse the games or you simply don't know yet on how to analyse properly. Well yeah if someone really spend time and effort to make research about the match they want to bet, it's not really a junk even though the chance to win is low. Junk bets should be a random or spontaneous pick where you don't really pay attention whether it will win or not.

I think that when gamblers adopt self control strategies, such as setting a limit on their spending, they can significantly reduce their chances of suffering big losses. Keep in mind, a few but high  quality bets usually yield better results than a lot of random bets  because quality is more important than quantity

First of all, I would like to know your statistics (have you done it?), it seems to me that if you make both serious and junk bets on events with approximately equal odds, then your average results should also be equal. The fact that you think that serious bets work better is most likely just a misperception, you need to know the exact numbers to talk about which bets work.
As for me personally, I think that junk bets work better for me (since when I choose outcomes I don’t worry about the result and make bold choices), but this is most likely also a misperception.

I think you take these junk bets more than your high rated ones because you like to gamble. You take these small bets only because you like to gamble. On the other hand, the winning rate of the one or two bets you take a week is quite high. That is why maybe your confidence is such that if you take one or two small bets, you can win or lose.

This is actually human psychology. Since you know that the winning rate of these junk bets is low, one thing you can do is keep these bets at very small amounts. In this case, your tendency to gamble is also complete and the amount of your losses is also small which does not affect you to gamble later.

If I'm being honest, bets without analysis are my favorites; I even bet teams that theoretically have no chance of winning against stronger teams.

Good pont, the whole purpose of a junk bet should be for the purpose of entertainment and nothing more...i also place junk bets as well but I don't expect much from it because I know that the chances of winning is very low..the goal isn't to make money it is just to enjoy the game and in some cases you can even get lucky, winning becomes an added bonus...it is gambling afterall anything can happen

I'd sometimes do something similar once my main pick hits, but it depends on the schedule and event, since I don't mind using house money to dive into other sports with the help of other bettors.

Of course they might be profitable, you never know how your luck might fare out. You will surely win big or even lose big if depending on your luck.

The reality is that even if you do a lot of analysis, end of the day you will be getting back only what your luck owes you. Even the calculated bet might turn bad and drain your balance before you know it.

So I think it is better to place bets with simpler analysis or no analysis at all, aka junk bets.

I think the success rate of any bet is decided by luck and chance and not based on the gambler’s analysis, whether they’re serious bets or just junk bets. Because you can end up carefully analyzing games and it still ends up in a total mess and vice versa. I can remember a handful of times that I’ve staked these junk bets without no analysis and I ended up winning so it’s just basically dependent on luck. If you’re lucky, you win, and if you’re not, you don’t. It’s as simple as that.

If that is what working for you, then sticking with it is the smart decision but being a gambler we all want to take risks.

I kind of mix things up, I use the detailed analysis for some games and for some I go completely based on my instinct, even if it is against the odds. And on rare occasions I go completely blind which paid off too.

Sometimes even bets that seem good to us turn out to be failures. This weekend, everyone was confident that Real Madrid would easily beat Celta Vigo at home, but things turned out to be much more complicated. This bet with Real Madrid seemed like a good one to me, but I decided not to place it because Real Madrid had let me down several times in a row, and I'm glad I decided not to. That's how it is mate. Your best efforts sometimes would be a waste of time because you will fail to win those bets. I had an experience with these junk bets that surprised me. These games were about starting and I had a few bucks to place these bets. Out of unseriousness, I just placed the bets and it turned out to be massive. Junk bets shouldnt be done constattly because gambling involves money so we need to take it serous. Assuming that junk bets will always bring wins is a wrong perception.
