Do odds even matter where you bet? If yes, why are people still using Stake?

Genuine question, guys. Everyone in crypto gambling talks about being "smart", but then you look at the odds on some big sites and they’re taxing people -115, -120, -125 on stuff that should be -105.

If you care about EV at all, odds matter more than any bonus or VIP program. So with that in mind… why do people stay on places like Stake where the juice is noticeably higher?

Is it the brand? Streamers? Convenience? Casino?

There are crypto books dealing way tighter prices (Bet105, Pinnacle, Cloudbet, etc.), so I don’t get why bettors burn EV voluntarily.

Gambling sites do know how to advertise themselves and promote their products and services, this will easily convince people to make use of the gambling sites to see how it is. From their they can like the sites and continue to use the gambling sites. With good odds comparable with other gambling sites, what people care most about is reputation of the gambling site and easy withdrawal.

Gamblers have nothing to worry if they gamble on Stake because they're rarely ask someone else KYC even though the gamblers withdraw a good sum. In other casinos, they have competitive odds, but they're too strict and might not able to be trusted for high amount.

It's more about the trustworthy, people don't mind to not earn much as long as it's safe.

Every bettor have their criteria for picking the sports book they are interested on using, first comes the reputation before anything else but to newbies, it is odd first since they know it gives them more profit depending on what the streamer and the YouTuber has told them on the video they have watched. Not that odds are not also important to experienced gamblers but the experience they had teach them to be diligent in picking a reputable casino that won't cause them issues at the end of the day. Some people also pick based on frequency of bonus and fast release of profits.
