I don’t think it’s proper to ban someone just because they winning so much. As a gambling site, it’s better they just set limits on the amount which the user can stake, and they should have limits on the user potential win, if the potential win is more than what they set for the user, then they shouldn’t just allow the user place the bet, it’s better than banning accounts.

Are you sure you read the news very well OP, such thing cannot happen no matter what, and if it does happen, the gambler will switch to another platform or recreate another account on the same platform and continue his winning.

Dont alot of sites use parimutuel betting so players run odds against each other or is that the rarity.   It should count as excellent promotional material to have a big winner showing up in the bet feed etc.

This (not paying players if they got a huge win) is the strategy of non-reputable casinos to avoid paying a huge amount of money.  Yes indeed, it is very unfair, but it really happened.  Other cases are even escalated to court.

You talk about really big players, who can judge against casino. The main part of gamblers play with small sums and can`t oppose casino. As the result they can ban or limit you using ToS. Your bankroll must be really huge to apply to the court, in all other situations - you will lose more than can win.
