Will banks become obsolete in the crypto future?

The problem is that the same banks we believe will be run over by crypto are actually investing in crypto asset's...and this means that they can manipulate this market at will should they want to push price up or tank it to the ground, so saying banks will be obsolete sounds invalid or is a BID matter as they are running the financial markets.

Instead of one going down, why not see a future of both coexisting?? It's the perfect scenario if you look at this without emotions.

That is definitely the future, banks and crypto will coexist and play different roles in the global economy.

But the problem is that some people are obsessed with bitcoin and exaggerate its power, claiming that it will replace or wipe out banks. However, in reality, that will never happen. Because Satoshi made it clear from the beginning that bitcoin was created to be an alternative, he never created it to replace or eliminate the existing financial system. He knew very well that it was impossible.

So you are right, the ideal scenario is for both to coexist.

I have always believed in co-existence, bitcoin and crypto doesn't have to leave for banks to continue to exist and banks doesn't also have to leave for bitcoin and cryptocurrencies to exists, but can peacefully exists and co-operate with each other.

Time is coming when people are going to need centralized systems like banks to store their crypto just like gold because they can't keep or store it themselves for their own personal reasons, this is not me encouraging this to happen but unfortunately, its the sad reality, in as much as we all love decentralization and want it to win, not everybody will choose decentralization over the central system they are already used to and this is a fact.

People have different choices and some really like the convenience and security what bank can offer. While there are some people choose decentralization or freedom for using Bitcoin. Both fiat and Bitcoin system can exist together and will give people an option on which currency they are comfortable to use.

Good point the systems can layer, banks might even end up using Bitcoin's settlement layer in the background while offering a familiar front end to customers. The tech doesn't care people will use what's comfortable and now there are more options.
