Addicts is not by how many gambling site accounts someone is having, you can see someone that has only one gambling site account being an addict while you can see someone that has many gambling site accounts and not an addict.

People on this forum that are in gambling sites signature campaign will have at least more than one gambling site accounts.

To me I don't see it as a sign of addicts rather finding an easier way to break through the house, of course gambling could be tough with much loses that is why many gamblers today looks for all possibilities to get favor in any of the gambling site. So, they could create account in casino A with the hope they would get winning they needed but at last turned back to them,  either they aren't that comfortable with their terms and conditions or maybe such casinos has a bad reputation which could make leave to another casino to gamble.

I disagree with this opinion of yours. Not every casino has the same features as the others; some casinos have various features and games that might interest a gambler to register with them. However, bonus features and wagering also attract players to casino platforms, which makes them explore more casino platforms. Not every gambler who registers with various casinos is addicted; some just like the features a casino offers, hence they patronise their services.

Maybe from the amount gambled and the time they spend in casinos could tell if they are addicted gamblers who jump from one casino to another, but before they do that, they check out for favourable features, and these are what lure them into casinos so they could benefit from their bonus and promos as a result of the fact that they are high rollers.

You can still be registered to just one site and be addicted to gambling. It's not about how many sites the person is registered to; it's about the gambler's activity.

Sometimes some are registered in these different sites because of new games they are trying to test and experience. Some still do it under the same gambling budget that they have; no matter the number of casinos they are registered with, they don't increase their limit.

I have a friend who has accounts on eight casinos, and I can safely say that he is not addicted to gambling; he just scrutinises and loves to observe and compare different casinos he has played every one of them at least once a week, it is not the number of casinos you have an account with, but how you play that makes you addicted to gambling.

Our uncontrolled behavior leads to gambling, harming ourselves, our families, and others. This is compounded by our inability to manage our urge to stop gambling or gambling addiction.

So, if we use many sites but rarely use them, or if we can manage them all and achieve higher winnings than losses, that's a different story than using just one site, but becoming truly addicted, detrimental and destroying our financial condition, that of our families, and even that of others.

That is not how addiction is identified. Addiction is identified by how long a gambler spends in a casino, and how the habit they can't control as they gamble. I don't think that just because someone gambles at a single casino is a guarantee of a relaxed gambler, and having accounts on up to 10 sites doesn't guarantee aggressive or addictive gambling, either. However, it's highly likely that those with multiple accounts may become addicted because they're testing their luck at each site.

However, this doesn't guarantee that someone who only gambles at one site is relaxed or not addicted.
What about you? Are you registered with multiple sites or just one? I'm sure anyone who gambles has at least one account, and that's perfectly normal.

It is not a confirmation with the numbers of gambling sites a gambler has to say he is an addict. Some people have the habit to chase just the benefit of opening an account like if there is referral bonus or spin to benefit. For the referral bonus, a friend can plead to another friend to use his referral link or profile to register just so that he can gain some bonus and spin. So if that friend oblige his friend for the sake of friendship, that may be the end of using that account and that keeps happening until you own such number of accounts. It is not just because you are the owner of the account, they may not be using it.

If you register on 8-10 gambling sites and play on all of them, what is the purpose? Because playing on just one gambling site is enough. The games like blackjack, poker, etc., are all the same; maybe the house edge is what differentiates them. In sports betting, it's all the same; there's no difference between one website and another.
If you register on many sites, the goal is to get bonuses, which is one form of cheating, or maybe just to find out which site is comfortable, loads quickly, places bets quickly, and has fast withdrawal and deposit processes—that might be what you're looking for when registering on many gambling sites.

Not exactly... the fact that he has several entries on sites does not make him an addict, but it shows that this person is quite involved with gambling, and that deserves attention... monitoring of activities and evaluation of the need to maintain so many active entries.
I think gambling addiction is when a person has a standard and persistent gambling behavior with significant losses... whether of money and time spent gambling. Or when the person even gambles in a more controlled way but can ot resist the urge to go a week or sometimes even a day without gambling, then I think you can say that the person is addicted.

I myself have about a five sites where I gamble, I do this because I ca not find everything I want in just one... sports and championships that I follow or other games for fun that I use as a pastime.

I do not consider myself an addicted gambler, I spend little time and money gambling and I would not mind going several days without gambling.

You can be an addict with only one site as I was myself such a person. I kept playing in my favorite casino for years and did it daily by depositing and losing on a consistent basis. Someone may have an account to 8 or 10 sites and he is not addicted at all because he rarely plays in each of them, though he like to keep options to himself so he sign up on many casinos. It has nothing to do with how many casinos one joins to tell if he is addicted or not, only the behavior of a person can make that person an addict or not. So I would not base my judgment on how many sites one gambler uses rather only on their behavior.

Having many gambling accounts but if you are still able to control your greed, your money, your time, etc you are not addicted but on the other side, even if you have 1 account only but you lose your own control in managing your money, greed and time = addicted.

The problem doesn't come from the number of gambling sites he's registered but how much he is spending there, If you still spend within your limit, then there is no problem. Some guys like comparing odds on several platforms before they choose where to place their bets and such a person might fall under this condition which is still fine.

Irresponsible gambling has a lot to do with your excessive financial commitment to gambling which affects your financial life. Again if the person spends unnecessary longer time on the casino such that other important aspects of his life is experiencing lower productivity, then he is crossing the addiction line too.
