This does not make a player gambling addict and has nothing to do with addiction. People play in different casinos for various reasons such chasing first deposit bonus, tournaments, contests and even VIP offers. It is even rare to see a serious player that plays in only one casino because there are just many things that can make a player have accounts in different casinos which I may not list here.

If you registered on multiple gambling sites and you are active on them all, playing every time, that is addiction to gambling. But if you have an account on multiple gambling sites, but you do not play on all of them, or you do not always play on all of them, that is not addiction but something else.

I registered on many gambling sites but that doesn't mean I am an addict. From many gambling sites, I only use maybe less than five sites but I don't regularly visit all of them at once. I also do not play gambling too often like other gamblers.

I just want to have an account on many gambling sites. I think that will not be a problem because that is how we treat gambling properly. Not automatically. What if that person is just trying to take advantage of the deposit bonus? That’s called being smart. As long as he’s not cheating, he can benefit from it.
Being an addict isn’t measured by how much you bet or how many casinos you play in. It’s measured by the behavior of the gambler.

If those 8-10 sites offer something unique or individual, then I dont see any problem that someone has registered on all of those sites. Imo gambling addiction is not about registering and playing in many casinos, addiction is when you cant help not to gamble. I have been eating lunch in various places that are near my work, but that does not make me addicted to food. Its natural for people to seek for some platform on where he is comfortable to play and it really happens that they create an account on certain casinos just to check what they are offering. Then with that number of accounts would rise to even more on that numbers you have given.

Addicts is not by how many gambling site accounts someone is having, you can see someone that has only one gambling site account being an addict while you can see someone that has many gambling site accounts and not an addict.

People on this forum that are in gambling sites signature campaign will have at least more than one gambling site accounts.

It’s true that you can’t judge whether someone is a gambler just by looking at the online casino number they played on. But I believe things like this can still influence someone to become a gambling addict, just like signature campaigns or even our activity here on Bitcointalk.

If you’re here everyday like me and constantly seeing ads from signature campaigns most of which are gambling related, it can really affects you. I think around 50% of users here gamble because of these gambling related signature campaigns. No, absolute no bud, registering on 8 to 10 or even more casinos does not mean a person is a gambling addict, gambling addicted are not known by the number of casinos they are registered on, they are known by their actions and this is the paramount thing.

I personally currently have an account on almost every casino on this forum, but I can't no obviously play on every of this casinos at the same time, so I choose one which I love the most and play there more frequently than I play on other casinos. This is what any other gambler out there might be doing as well, it is even best to have accounts on different casinos for convenience sake, a day might come you encounter issue with one casino, you easily switch to another, this is not a sign of addiction if you ask me.

No is is not a sign of gambling addiction. Having those accounts could mean the gambler just want to have different options of gambling platforms and compare the platforms that offers best customer services and odds. Some gamblers create account with various gambling platforms to chase new customers bonuses and also benefit whenever the platform is doing promos. Again like what I previously mentioned on a similar post like this one, the determination in knowing if a person is addicted to gambling cannot be quantified. Even if a person has created multiple accounts across different gambling websites but he/she can still fulfill his/her obligations, then we can consider him as NOT addicted to gambling.

To reiterate what I have mentioned before, the true test, in my opinion, is when a person prioritizes funding their gambling habits than meeting their monthly bills and obligations either to themselves or to their family. If they choose to gamble and they neglect support to the persons they are mandated to help, then we can confidently say that they are considered as a gambling addict.

I disagree, I think people are gambling addicts based on how much money they wager, not based on how many gambling sites. If they are registering, losing a lot, and then registering somewhere else, yes they are addicts. But if they are registering to find the best odds for example before they do something, then someone who loses only 50 to 100 bucks per month on a long term, doesn't matter if they are registered to 1 or 100 websites, that has nothing to do with it. I understand some people will want to see that as a problem but it is not.

No, it's not the sign that he is addicted to gambling; some gamblers sign up to casinos because of the bonuses, or they just want to test a new casino. It's not the number; it's how you treat gambling that makes you addicted to it.
You can be in 100 casinos and still play responsibly, or you can be at only two casinos and be addicted to gambling. I don't think numbers have anything to do with addiction.
