Being addicted into gambling isn't based on how many accounts they're registered on. It's based on:
1. How much money they're spending compared to their lifestyle?
2. How gambling is affecting his mental health?
3. How he handles losses?

I've registered on multiple gambling websites already that's being promoted here, but I can't call myself an addicted gambler or even close to it, and that's because I can control my spendings, I can control myself whenever I lose, and I'm not mentally affected by it as well.

I could not agree more and I can't understand why having many accounts would mean you are addicted. I also have accounts on many casinos but I only use 1 or 2 besides new casinos that come to bitcointalk that I like to try. Now of course I'm using betpanda because of my signature, so it was a new account on a new casino which didn't make me more addicted to anything.

How can you manage 10 casinos at once or you mean having 10 different casino account. I don't even have upto 3 that's functioning except for the ones that makes it mandatory that you must registered before you have to work with their company on the forum, aside from that I don't have that number. My main purpose is the where I do have funds sometimes. Like now, I have money on Sportybet and I haven't log in there a while and I don't even have a reason and it's one of my favorite.

I don't think a reasonable gamble will run from one casino to another, it's not like they give something unique that will make me leave one casino to another. I'm not jobless to that extent.

Having 10 accounts does not mean you will use 10 casinos. Many people just go from a casino to another depending on promotion and bonuses, so they still use only 1 or 2 casinos but they change from time to time.

Signing up at multiple casinos may be because players might get a good deal from a new casino or because they see a better chance of getting a bonus, etc.

If someone have registered in 10 gambling sites and only using one or two site for gambling,  it doesn't mean the person is addicted to gambling,  it could be the person registered the first site and the kind of service from the first site is not something that one needs to stick to the gambling site, and decide to registered another one and another issue comes up. But if the 10 gambling sites are active and the purpose is to make money by all means then it means such person is addicted to gambling.

That makes sense, because I have friends who gamble with their own capital and rely on the bonuses offered by casinos. They register, make deposits, and take advantage of the bonuses. If they're lucky, they withdraw their winnings. If they're not, they try again at another casino. The cycle continues, and it continues to this day.
But it's very possible that they do this because they're addicted or obsessed with chasing wins in gambling.

I do the same. But for me personally, playing on multiple gambling sites doesn't make me addicted or lose control. I just try my luck on various sites. For some reason, I believe that each site offers different chances of luck & winning. That's why I play on various sites in the hope of getting lucky & winning. Of course, the bonuses on the various sites I play on allow me to gamble without having to spend a lot of money because I rely on the bonuses offered.

Well my perception says otherwise. What if someone has all registered to all casino online but didn't much play or if he does he only play or gamble for few bucks? While there's a player only registered on one casino gambling site but spend over $10k per day to play? Win or lose that's how he spend? I think its not about the sites he registered but on how he spend volume of money in a casino. That's how someone can be interpreted the level of addiction he has for gambling.

Very possible for someone to even have more than 8 gambling accounts and not be addicted, because we can decided on checking on as many as possible platforms, testing them for a particular feature we wanted until we make a find in one, what i may only kick against is in the situation, whereby a gambler uses these numerous account at the same time for gambling, this may shows having high intent for addiction in gambling, because we cant afford to manage more accounts and not get affected for any reason.

That's right, I myself have registered at more than 10 over the years. If you've participated in signature campaigns, it makes sense to try out the casino you're advertising. It could also be, as you say, for the welcome bonuses. So there's nothing wrong with that.

And conversely, as cryptoaddictchie says, someone who is registered at only one casino is no guarantee that he is not addicted.

I don't think so, I'm probably registered on way more than that but I won't consider myself as an addict. I'm like registered in there to test the platform or it's needed for some events I use to join with. It's not on the accounts that matter because if you're really an addict you could be addicted even with just one site and get lost yourself in it.

We cannot rely solely on a metro registration as a measure of addiction, because we are unsure of the gambler's intentions behind making those registrations. After all, there's no limit or restriction on the number of gambling platforms we can register on, as long as we follow their rules.

Simply registering on 8-10 gambling sites doesn't necessarily constitute a gambling addiction. If they continue to be active on only a subset of these sites, say, 1-2, then I think they're fine. At the very least, it's impossible to say for sure whether they're addicted to gambling based solely on this information. Gambling addiction manifests itself in something else entirely - the resources spent on gambling (time and money). Having accounts on 8-10 gambling sites allows you to continue devoting only a small portion of your time to gambling, and then it's definitely not a gambling addiction.

If you ask active users of the gambling section, many will likely have multiple accounts on different gambling sites (which they likely visit occasionally, or only once or twice after registering for the gambling site analysis). But they can't all be addicted, right?

Gambling addiction does not depend on how many gambling sites he has. If he uses one website and playing gambling excessively, he can become addicted to gambling. If he registers on 8-10 gambling sites, but he doesn't play too often, he will not become addicted to gambling. He can treat gambling well and registering to all of those sites makes it easy for him to choose.  Perhaps those sites are the sites that he chose among all the casinos he knows. He wants to have his gambling sites listed for gambling.

Players who hunt for bonuses fall in this category too well, most of them don't get addicted despite spending less trying out different bonus opportunities.

In a case where someone is addicted it's written on some casinos TOS to have the user expelled across all other online casinos, I'm not sure of how it's achieved or ways players tweak around such sanctions.

Afaik, the casinos doesn't have a specific addiction indicator on the platform. Gamblers must consciously request self-exclusion, citing their problem with their gambling habit, and then the relevant ToS apply.

for me just being registered on gambling sites doesn’t automatically mean someone is a gambling addict, some people sign up on multiple platforms just to compare promos, bonuses/odds but they don’t actually gamble all the time. What really shows addiction is the behaviour like not being able to control how much or how often they gamble, chasing losses, spending money they can’t afford or continuing even when it causes problems so the no. of registered accounts isn’t enough to say someone is addicted, it’s the actual habits that matter.

10 in number is huge to be actively used by one person, but if for any reason someone is able to be moving from one casino to the other but is still sharing his or her gambling budget among all these casinos, I don't see it as being addicted. There are reasons why people keep on switching from one casino to the other. If all the casinos the person registered with offer different options that can't be found in the other, then they can keep on using them.

I'm registered at almost all of the online casino sites advertised on the BitcoinTalk forum. However, I'm not a gambling addict and don't suffer from a gambling disorder. Yes, I had a gambling addiction in my youth, but it had nothing to do with registering at casino sites. 🙋

You can also register on 100 sites but that doesn't mean you're addicted, maybe you take advantage of welcome bonuses or just want to try new ones.
A gambler is defined as a person who gambles continuously, several hours a day and every day.
Addiction, in fact, cannot do without it.

They have wrong misconceptions towards calling those people have lots of registered casino accounts. While the question is are they playing on all of those casinos? because there are people will just try to register to check the offers and other promotion of the casino then leave if they won't get satisfied with what they see.

So everything will boils down depends on the activity of the person. Since even if they are only playing on one casino only they still have tendency to experience addiction. We can see this on the actions of people not on the number of accounts registered.
