 If you like register on thousands of betting websites , if you still cannot risk everything you can't afford to loose(to that extent of staking money meant for your immediate needs I.e food, clothing, children's school fees , house rent and even borrowing money to play etc)  then you are not ready to be called a gambler.
  I really  don't get it when people use the word "gambling addict" . A gambler by default is already an addicted person ; one who is desperate to win at all cost because he keeps chasing his loses or keeps rearranging his life around the gambling stuff; he let's his emotions take a better part of the gambling exercise. So a gambling addict is still but just a gambler. They are not two different people.

I also think that the number of casino registrations has nothing to do with gambling addiction, because even in one casino you can lose everything. A person can be called a gambling addict only when he uses it more than necessary, values it more than other things, plays recklessly. A person can create multiple accounts to monitor his gambles or there can be some other reason behind it. If I talk about me, I also had multiple accounts on different gambling sites but they were to monitor different types of sports. I could easily get all the sports updates from them using my mobile phone in hand.

Gamblers likes to explore and it doesn't mean that they are addicted to it, some just like options to choose from when they want to gamble, they might like the Idea of considering which casino will bring them luck before choosing. Mere registering on several gambling sites up to 10 does not make you an addict in my own view because an addict is someone who probably has lost his will power during gambling like he lacks the ability to control his minimum and maximum bet level even when planning on not betting more than a certain amount you still can not control your bet you still exceed your bet limits.

A gambling addict could just use one gambling site and keep on playing in the same place. The number of accounts in different gambling sites does not matter. In fact, those who have many accounts might have a plan on why they do that, rather than a gambler using just one online casino.

It is not certain that a person can have an account on multiple gambling sites once he will be addicted to gambling. Or a person with a gambling addiction may only have one account. That is, it would not be right to consider someone as a gambling addict based on the gambling account. A person with a gambling addiction will either prioritize gambling over family and personal decisions, spend a large portion of their weekly or monthly salary on gambling, or will neglect important daily activities to keep themselves occupied with gambling.

What you said is true having multiple gambling site account doesn't mean that such person is a gambling addict but some of those who also has multiple gambling account are also addicted to gambling but not all. Exactly, over time a person can just lose interest in a particular betting site because they've probably not been winning anything there so they believe that their luck doesn't work well with that particular site so they end up opening a new account in a different site to test that one out and determine how good their luck works with that one, during this time they can end up creating multiple accounts across over 8 sites.
