Well, registering on different gambling sites doesn't necessarily mean a gambler is addicted. Because this can shows that he/she is just trying to experience the best platform or just want to take advantage the bonuses or promotions of the specific site. I have an account also to different sites but my purpose is to find the site that will give me luck to win and not lose often.

To say that a gambler is aready addicted, it means he is already uncontrolled and still finding ways to gamble (despite having a huge losses) through taking loan or selling valuable things to sustain the habit. Unable to stop and eager to keep playing are just few indications that a gambler is a gambling addict.

I agree to that, every gamblers have their own favorite site / casino house that loves to play with, there are casinos that gain the trust of their users, while there are other gamblers who loves to explore and loves to try different services, but it doesn't mean that just becuase you have lots of different site that you sign up and play will reflect immidiately that you are addicted, for some, they are aiming to check the service and how the bonuses works while other might have different games or different types of gambling that might not be available to other platforms that they usually use that's why they need to find another house/site who caters the game.

And it's through experience on different platforms that the gambler will identify which one is his favorite. So, it's normal and even a good thing that gamblers try different platforms, instead of sticking to solely one or two. That way, they will have access to more games, more bonuses, features and potential extra promotions. On the other hand, for gamblers who are already playing for a long time, it might not be that interesting to try new casinos, as they might be already saturated of gambling, and just want to play on the platform they have been used to from times to times.

OP, I think you should know that not all casinos offer the same gambling package, hence their differences and reasons why players always have multiple choices of casino options for some particular games they choose to play. Actually addiction has nothing to do with plenty of casino accounts. There are people that I know for a very long time that has been a regular user of sportybet, they don't have money neither do they make money from gambling and I have also seen them countless time on that app, they are addicted like hell, they regularly want to referred  people to that website and you can never see them use another casino, it's loyalty with addiction in my opinion.

There are some people that can have multiple accounts and they may not really be addicted to gambling in the sense that they might actually be after bonuses. Alot of gamblers are guilty of this but that's their thing, you can just stop them even later that the casino will later block their accounts. Is quite hard to see an active member of this board who does not have up to that amount of accounts in different gambling sites, this is common to most people and to have multiple casinos account is not same as being a gambling addict, sometimes, personal interests at times could make us create an account on a casino even when we already have other active accounts else where, so multiple accounts with minimal activities is ok but when it becomes excessive that is when we can point to some key factors to detect gambling addiction along the line.

I don't think that still make anyone justify the reason why they have to have 8-10 gambling accounts. What on earth is that person gambling, I don't think such person should be categorized as addicted person but a person who is jobless. If there is no any specialty from any casino that a person can benefit from, there is no any reason for such person to have more than 3 different casino, as long as it's the outcome of an event that is going to determine if you are going to win, then 3 is okay.

Unless you have a website where you do independent review on websites and tells people your experiences about different casino, having plenty of account alone can make you enter a problem. I agree with you, the gambler's own behavior and attitude actually have a big impact on the outcome. In my opinion, self control or discipline is something that can be achieved by practice. Speaking for myself I always try to stick to strict limit, always avoid trigger and instead of gambling I focus on other good deed as a result of which both my life and wealth are much safer. So I would say that it is not enough to have mental strength alone you have to understand in your own mind first, you cannot be afraid to take the right decision at the right time. Another thing I do is that I keep a little distance from my gambling addicted friend avoid their chats, these techniques are very useful.

My personal opinion is that gambling addiction cannot be blamed on character alone. I think there are many reasons why players register on gambling sites, whether it Is to accept challenging offers, for the convenience of playing, to try different games on other sites, or simply to experience different sensations on various gambling sites. So, it IS all just a matter of individual choice or preference, and I don't think we can conclude that such a person is a gambling addict, because I don't think there is a correlation at all. Someone can be considered a gambling addict if they have a gambling problem.

Thats true, it's not about signing up with different platform. Some people just love to try new platform to check out for new features, or maybe because they were lured by offers like bonuses and so on but that not a criteria for addiction which is mostly caused by irresponsible/reckless gambling. People who have registered on 8-10 gambling sites do not necessarily consider themselves as gambling addicts.
