The truth of the matter is majority of people who respond to thread after the first page don’t even bother to read through the entire content of the thread talk more of reading through others reply, sometimes self they don’t read the reply of others to see if their was correction on a point made or not, they are more focused on sharing opinion base on what they think is right and some even draft their responses base on thread title.

The good posters are mostly posting on the first page, the rest will prefer to just spam around posting what that has already been posted before.

Some people will jump to the more than second page and post. Some people will just quote the OP and post without reading what other people have posted. There are time that the discussion would have gone further but someone will just quote the OP.

Another are people that will read the topic title and not read what the OP posted, making wrong posts.

Only few people are good posters that stayed on topics and make constructive discussion.

I'm not sure if it's AI, because it looks like a classic of shitposting: if you see a fresh topic, respond as soon as possible, because you need to meet the weekly quota of the signature campaign. And of course, it doesn't matter to them who and what has already been answered there.
And the second popular trick: if you can't write anything new, just paraphrase what someone else has already written. It's like you're maintaining a dialogue with this.

I just send reports to such shitposts almost every day.

So in conclusion of what you are trying to say in this statement is that all post after first page and those who submit such contributions are shut posters? I get it that most of the time when first page of a thread is passed the rest of the replies might be repetition, but in some threads you can still find some good contributions..

If we go with this your definition good posters more than 99% of the forum users will be classified in the opposite of good posters, and not all comment on first page are also as good as they should be, even in mega threads you can still find some useful information shared at the end of the page by someone who have something to offer.

Honestly, mindless humans are worse than AI zombies, but there is a bit of both here. My ballpark estimate is that 90-95% of posts here are complete trash and should be deleted. There's nothing we can do about it though as long as the man in charge thinks that there is no problem. Yet another example how centralized control leads to failures.

I'm not going to convince you, and already had 2 of the users that responded on Ignore. I've been "complaining" about the lack of punishment for plagiarism and AI for years now, and largely gave up reporting them. If it takes more effort to report a chatbot spammer than it takes for him to spam, it's a lost cause if they don't get banned on sight. If Mods just delete the reported posts but let the user continue, I just click Ignore and move on. This may very well destroy Bitcointalk as we know it.

AI is the worst, I have stopped complaining on the AI thread because I noticed the post will only be deleted but there is nothing that would be done. If it is 7 days ban, it will be better. This will help in discouraging the use of AI on this forum.

Many of good posters are inactive or left the forum, they're play a big role about the quality post in this forum.

Have you check few threads in Reputation section? few users had caught many signature campaign cheaters that have been in this forum for 2-3 years or more. It's not surprising to see many users are spamming because they operate many accounts and they have to fulfill the campaign requirement.

There are places, where you have more bots than humans. Or, where you have a lot of stupid answers, and even if they are produced by biological species, their answers are still more and more worthless. I guess for some people, AI made more harm than good, and instead of improving, some people started producing worse answers, than they did in the past (maybe because some AI models also degraded, and their 2025 answers can be worse than their 2022 answers for the same prompts, for some reason).

I guess it must be hard to be a merit source today, when you enter some board, and there are no good posts to send merits to.

No, I disagree with this statement man, not everyone has that time to track board or new topics because they are busy with their lives outside this forum, sometimes a user will want to make an input, but it's already three to four pages already. And sometimes most users here have time they are free, that they can access the forum, so if they react to a post late after it's already pages doesn't mean that they are spamming.

Unfortunately, a lot of forum members don't read anything except the title or the first post in the topic, so that results in completely meaningless posts, as is the case in the topic linked by the OP. In such cases, it is a pity that there is no possibility of negative merits, they definitely deserve it.

There is definitely some truth in what you wrote, and I don't remember dozens of alt accounts ever being caught in such a short period of time. However, I think that this is just the tip of the iceberg and that there are hundreds of such (active) accounts.
