Many of the times, we get to see the smaller teams in the premier league, upset the bigger teams in the league because the bigger teams underestimated them. I think the match Chelsea FC played last against Arsenal, it was the Arsenal team that struggled to find an equalizer and am sure it is this much confidence that made the manager field such a weak squad thinking that Leeds would just be a work over.

Not all fans are like this. Fans are differentiated in many kinds of groups and subgroups based on their character and behavior. Many people in fact are fake fans, and they are supporting something because it is one of the bigger and popular pick. What makes you a die hard fan of a club is when you're ready to stand for your club not just at the time they are winning but also during the time they have also lost.  When they win, you boost about the victory and drag other club and fans in the process pointing to previous games they played against same club and lost and when you also losses, it's just normal that you will find a way of defending your club and pairing a narrative that gives credence to their loss.

We must understand that no team is invincible and no matter how good they might be no team can have 100 percent wins through out the entire football season an example is bayern Munich, they won almost all their matches till they had one draw. The thing is that fan-ship is correlated with personalities, so people who are dumb fans are often dumb fans because they are just dumb people. The referee calling is the biggest one that I hate. Just because you lost doesn't mean that referee has to be terrible, are there cases where referees are terrible? Of course there are, and are there cases where a team loses just because referees were bad? Of course there are.

Look inward and see the problems within the team if you want to see someone responsible. I'm not a fan of using old stats to judge my team, especially when we are doing badly. Instead of saying much about the game, I prefer to stay quiet and avoid such discussions and comparisons. Chelsea's defeat yesterday was a disaster, they ended many running games, including mine, which they were the last on my pay slip.
