After reading the entire contents of the topic above, I suddenly remembered a quote "the people closest to you greatly influence who you are". In short, if we hang out with people who have a positive mindset, are ambitious, and are ready to grow, we will also be positively influenced by the people who are always around us.
Being selective in socializing is very important for self-development and to prevent getting trapped in a circle of people who have a negative impact and only bring us down. So it is very important to find or associate with a positive community because it can indirectly increase our motivation and inspiration.

You are righr but I think influence is based on choice, it is easy for people around you to influence you but like I said it's  thing of choice. You can be surrounded by people and decide not to get influenced by them. Although your company matters a lot but at the end of the day it doesn't really define you as a person. I think all of us at school and university might not have been the most calm and morally upright people. And that's normal—the influence of youthful maximalism and the stupidity of early years are quite common for all children, especially boys. As a kid, I hung out with a bad crowd, where it was cool to show off, swear, and slander others. And in that crowd, I became very dumb, stopped being an excellent student, and became indifferent to school. But I was very, very lucky.
My mother managed to put me in a class of smart kids, I passed the topics and got in. After that, I realized the truth: being smart is very right and productive.

I don't think if the environment we find ourselves have much effect in these, because there are some people who are leaving in a good environment yet they think and react like those who are in the village and this could be due to the people they have around them like friends. One thing about influence sometimes influence is not just by choice but it can take place without you knowing. Your word carries some truth. I get influence by some things from people that are close to me, I can get drag by what anlyher person has done but I like myself for one thing and that's home training. If you are going to influence me in a way that it's going to take away my home training then you will have to go through me. You can't even go through me that easily because it's something that will not work on me, I know where I'm from and I know where I'm going.

Some people are infleuced because of their peers and this isn't about teens, even old people are influenced by their friends. When people see that their friends are not doing something they use to do when they are old, they will not do it again because they don't want people to talk about them. This is also similar to what teens do, they don't want their cycle to ridicule them. If it's something they want, they will do anything to get it no matter what.

I personally think you dont need to be a social butterfly or hangout with millionaires. You just need to make sure your friends arent quietly, talk out your dreams, goals.
If you want to be part of that 1% who finds true freedom, you cant be surrounded by people who are comfortable being stuck.

If that was the case, I would have been more successful. I have friends all around me and they are all doing better than me, in fact so much so that everyone I know are doing better financially than I do.

Few years ago I had a very bad experience at work, which wasn't really that bad when I look back, it was just regular mobbing, which everyone faces of course, but because of that I had hard time getting another job and never wanted to. Now I work freelance online by being at home, and decide my own future, and that's good, but that limits the amount of money I can make.

So you have not maintained a balance due to which you have not benefited from social life.You should work equally in social life and personal life. If you keep in touch with friends more and do not focus on work then you will not benefit from social life a good social life is useful in some situations of life. If you need to do job and business then a good social life will help you by giving its own reference. your social life is not with good people then you will have to suffer financial mental and personal losses and you cannot be successful in life.You should do social life with good people so that you also benefit.

In life the type of people you mingle with actually affect your lifestyle and sense of reasoning, to make progress in life your thinking must be positive and should associate with people that has the right sense of reasoning. Some people are out their just to discuss about the progress of other people and even go as far as envying them. I understand your point clearly, but unfortunately people have different mindsets. They are people that easily be influenced by people around them. And at the same time they are those that no matter what, if they can't change the people around them, there is no way those people can influence them or change them negatively. But those kinds of people are very rare to find or see. The best thing is to believe in yourself and surround yourself with the people that will positively influence your life. Children are too young to understand the differences between good and bad, but the parents supposed to save as their guidelines and their protectors. And it is very important to monitor the kind of companies that their children keep. In order to protect them and also prevent them from associating with people that will influence them negatively.

Your words are not unreasonable, generally a person will do what he wants and no one will stop him. However, in some cases, your desires may also change due to social influence. That is why I think that social influence also has a big impact on determining the future. The better the company of a person, thoughts and consciousness become stronger. We all lived and i was never influenced by there behaviour, it was from there i understand you can only become part of what you like and not what you hate
