The rule "Those who put small money (or nothing) into crypto, take out big money - those who put big money into crypto, take out small money (or nothing)" seems to be true both objectively - because it is much easier to invest small amounts due to market illiquidity, and subjectively - because the person who have put the great proportion of his wealth (or even borrowed money) into crypto is often forced to sell in bad times.

What do you think ?

What I think is that you need to learn how to put your words in a way that people can understand you outrightly, people who invest small amount of money could at the end of the investment be very profitable by investing in bitcoin merely for one reason which is HODLING,  which not many might be able to do that while, at the same time if an investor invest heavily with the same holding then he is going to be far more profitable than the small investor, so it's not magic that you will put small money and get big money then someone who puts in big will come out with small amount, no it doesn't work that way.

Those who invest with bigger capital comes with a bigger risk of losing, but if you know how to perform proper risk management, the amount of your capital will be x5 or x10 in the future. While those who only invest with small amount, there'll be smaller risk as well, but if you are wise and patient with bitcoin, and seize every opportunity that will bring positive increase for your bitcoin portfolio, your small amount of capital will turn into an excellent amount of profits after years of patiently holding your coins. The amount of your investment capital matters, but what matters the most is how you manage your investment, big or small.

How are you to put nothing into investment and get back huge return?

Investors are usually profitable after investing even for little, but Bitcoin doesn't give huge returns in a short duration, and your profits also depend on the size of your investment.

If you have good flow of income to invest massively, don't hesitate, bitcoin has been profitable as long you prefer the long term approach.

Cryptocurrency investment is vice versa as you said but the thing is that when investing in cryptocurrency be ready to receive anything that you see or you come across so I believe that you need to understand the procedures before you invest in cryptocurrency, because you may invest in cryptocurrency having a mind that at end of it you will make a good profit but only process will notice that you are losing so if you don't have the experience you the panic because it is your first time to invest in cryptocurrency, so we need to understand that investment in cryptocurrency is something that we need to take a proper measure

What do you think ?

Not an absolute truth, and in most cases, those who invest a huge amount of money get more than those who invest a small amount.  Just think, how can a person who invests a small amount take more than the person who puts a larger amount?

While it is true that person who invested an amount they can't afford to lose often panics when the market downtrends but it is not always the case.  Instead of saying people who have less investment gets more than people who invest more, I think it is better to say, people who invested an amount that they can't afford to lose often end up losing.

It is unacceptable that someone has invested nothing in crypto and received huge returns. Whether it is a small or a large amount of capital, one must invest. In this case, to answer one of your points, those who borrow money and invest in crypto definitely experience some kind of mental stress, especially as the investor is mentally stressed due to borrowing money or taking out a loan at high interest rates. Due to this mental stress, he is forced to sell it in the market due to the tension that acts to return the capital at the right time.

Those who are selling in bad times and are only forced to do that, are doing the wrong thing. They have no clear path of plans for how long they're going to hold.

Also, they have bad choices of what they've bought. If they did bought Bitcoin, that's not going to happen to them if they're patient.

Well, being patient in general is going to save them from those frustrating sell offs because it stops them from panicking.

It's more of you invest small money and forget it then retrieve it when it grow multiple fold or you put your entire capital and have a constant monitoring 24/7 and whenever bad news hit you get panicked and sold.

Small money taking out big money doesn't make sense because the small money can only produce small ROI but if you can hold long term and the capital multiply itself and even compounding, you can take out big money.

The easy solution is to not sell during bad times. If you have already invested huge amounts of money in bitcoin, make sure you are ready to face the challenges and keep holding. When you invest bigger money, it will take more for that amount to double or so. That is why it is best that you wait for the next cycle instead or more.

This makes sense. I think it's because people who put little money and take out big money are happy, and that money is already huge for them, while people who put big money and take out small money means that amount of money they put is not really important for them, or most likely they are not worried about that money if it will grow or not.

It also depends on every person, especially their vision for the future of the market. We can say Bitcoin, for example, these days which Bitcoin alreadhy has huge market cap and trading volume, votality already not that huge compared before so let's say a person put huge money, the changes of price is really not that huge pump or dump, so maybe in their mind, it's fine.

I don't want to believe this kind of approach is a vice versa, if you trade or invest with small amount of money, you stand the chance to grow or liquidate your money in it, depending on what you do and how you have the understanding of doing it, same also applies if you come in with large amount of money as capital, it does not guarantee a bigger return, except you get the right concept in place, anyone is bound to lose or gain regardless of the start up capital. At the same time, it's better to start small and grow your capital in it, than lose from within.

You should give an example to portray your observations. This is the opposite of what happens in the crypto market. Investing more money entitles you to high returns if the market is profitable. You will also lose more if the opposite is the case. Institutions like Strategy have made more money from Bitcoin than retail investors like you and me. Do your research properly and stop this misinformation.

Having backup or emergency funds is essential if one wants to invest in the crypto market. The market is volatile; there is a need to make provision for uncertainty. Anyone who cannot be patient should not invest in cryptocurrencies.

That's why we said that we should only invest money that we can afford to lose, so that you won't force to sell at some point. But in any case, it's a good investment, you just have to learn when to invest at the right time and just go on hold on it for a long time. Look for the bigger picture and just be patience of buying in DCA method so grow your stash. At least invest in the long term, or one full cycle of it so that you will understand the worst and best time of it. Also it added that mental toughness and it could make you even more appreciate how Bitcoin investment is in the long run.

Half right but not always the case, there are crypto whales that put a million dollars on coins and walk away with ten million dollars, they won not because they invested a lot, this is what they can afford to lose.

Your $20 investment can worry you because you borrow the money, my $20 investment could mean nothing because I make $200 every month from my job.

People are greedy, that's a thing, many people are obsessed with crazy gains, like turning $20 into $20,000, they are waiting around for this to happen before they start to take profit, which is a wrong move.

After reading your post carefully, I now understand the angle you are coming from and to an extent you are correct. There is usually a tendency to sell at a loss when an investor buy Bitcoin with big amount of money, that is a very large portion of his income, this is how they will earn less money according to your post which is correct. On the other hand, if the investor port small portion of his money, he will not be under pressure to sell because without the money, he will be able to eat and and get his life running and wait out the price to turn around and give him profits.  It is then better to buy Bitcoin will small part of our money at a time to enable us hold for long because that is the way to earn big in Bitcoin.

What do you think ?

From the moment you mention ‘crypto’, the statement is false. No matter how much you invest, if you buy shitcoins, especially in the short term, you have a high probability of losing money. There are times when it is more difficult, such as when there is a bull market, but even so, shitcoins are more volatile, and therefore it is easier for you to experience a downturn in which you panic and decide to sell at a loss.

If you were talking about Bitcoin, with a medium- to long-term outlook, it would be more realistic.

Investors are usually profitable after investing even for little, but Bitcoin doesn't give huge returns in a short duration, and your profits also depend on the size of your investment.
But, I am getting OP's point with respect to emotions and long term benefits:
If you have invested little which is almost nothing to you if happens to lose and because it is nothing, you can hold for years and in long run, you are profiting bigger.

At the same time, if you invest half of your networth or big fund with leverage into bitcoin, you will be unable to hold against market fluctuations and due to interest burden. It all means, role of your emotions is vital here. If you are calm when bitcoin drops even up to 80% from the peak level, you can profit bigger than your initial capital. If not, you may sell off your positions at wrong timing.

Having backup or emergency funds is essential if one wants to invest in the crypto market. The market is volatile; there is a need to make provision for uncertainty. Anyone who cannot be patient should not invest in cryptocurrencies.
And anyone who doesn't have enough funds for their needs shouldn't invest as well. Because there's the belief that after investing in Bitcoin, they'd become millionaires and rich folks.

But that's the wrong belief that they do and every investor is also going through uncertainties and risks like the normal investments have.

Just like the common tips about money doesn't grow in trees is also applicable in investing to Bitcoin.
