The only sort of volleyball that I find interesting is women's beach volleyball. That being said, I do have a state champion volleyball player (male) in the family and am aware that it takes a great deal of skill to be good at the sport.
I understand your point of view, and I ca not deny it... the beach, and a beautiful view of the whole "scene".
But, going to the technical side, I understand that both modalities deliver very different things... in the men's game it is more explosive, with more power in the serves and hits, which shortens the plays and the result is usually defined more by strength and height. In the women's game, there seem to be longer exchanges, defenses and variations of strokes, the technical part and game reading is more evident... I consider it a much more beautiful game to watch, technically.
Obviously, this is also reflected in the bets, for each modality it is necessary to choose the criteria well and make wise choices... just as in football there are several betting criteria besides "who wins and who loses" and women's volleyball is much richer in allowing for different bets.
