Hello Bitcointalk community,
after several months of development and successful live testing, the official
DEMt Bridge is now deployed on MainNet and ready for launch.
DEMt is a *1:1 fully backed wrapped token* of the original Deutsche eMark (DEM),
a classic SHA-256 Proof-of-Work cryptocurrency launched in 2013.
The goal: bring DEM into a modern, fast, low-cost, smart-contract-enabled
ecosystem — without changing or modifying the DEM blockchain itself.
DEMt extends DEM with:
- ultra-fast transfers on Tron
- smart contract support
- DEX trading (SunSwap-ready)
- liquidity pools
- lower fees
- better mobile wallet support
DEM stays the PoW coin.
DEMt is simply the Tron representation of DEM.

WHAT IS DEMt?

DEMt is a TRC-20 token on the Tron blockchain, representing DEM at a fixed 1:1
ratio. For every DEMt that exists, exactly one real DEM is held in reserve on
the DEM blockchain.
DEMt is fully backed, non-inflationary, and governed by an immutable smart
contract with controlled mint/burn functions.

HOW THE BRIDGE WORKS (DEM → DEMt)

1. You send DEM to a unique deposit address generated by the bridge.
2. The DEM is forwarded internally to the hotwallet (normal DEM network fee).
3. The backend locks the DEM and mints the equivalent amount of DEMt on Tron
(minus the DEM network fee).
4. DEMt is sent directly to your Tron wallet.
Example:
You deposit 100 DEM.
After DEM's internal fee, 99.999 DEM arrive as backing.
→ You receive 99.999 DEMt.

HOW THE RETURN SWAP WORKS (DEMt → DEM)

1. You burn your DEMt in the Tron smart contract.
2. The backend verifies the burn.
3. The equivalent amount of DEM is released from the hotwallet and sent to your
DEM address (minus the DEM network fee).
Example:
You burn 99.999 DEMt.
After DEM payout fee, you receive 99.998 DEM.
There are no extra bridge fees — only standard DEM blockchain fees apply.
