There is this famous casino( i don't want to mention the name cause some other casinos are also guilty) I registered and saw their deposit bonus and it was attractive because it was something I could work with without having to feel like I'm spending too much. However i gave it a shot and to my greatest surprise they marked the first deposit bonus as used but I never got to actually use it. I taught it would show up in a matter of some sec but it didn't so I just gambled with the amount I deposited.

Now my question is, was this a deliberate scam or a glitch?
And has anyone also experienced this before?

Might be better to ask the support about it, as you have said, for unknown reasons, it's been tag as used.

Personally, I haven't experienced this one, but in any case I will, then that will be the first thing to do. Ask the support, they are available anytime and tell them that something might be off so that you will get a clear understanding of what had happened.

I have once experience it long time ago that's why I can't really recore what actually happened, but what I can remember right now is that after registering on the gambling platform I was given a welcome bonus and asked to activate it by depositing some funds into my gambling account which I deposited some reasonable amount of funds, and after I activated the bonus I was still unable to use it, because i gambled to a point where I wanted to stake all the money that was  in balance, but it wasn't working why because I can't gamble with the bonus, that's is number one, and the number two of it was when I want to withdraw my win's from platform and I was asked to first deactivate the bonus before I can be able to make a withdrawal, which I deactivated it and that was how I lost the bonus without making use of it. Although I can't say they scammed me, because that money was not the money I deposited in their platform, and I can't even say it's a glitch or something, but all I can say is those casinos who are doing that shit knows what they are doing.

It could actually be a glitch, especially when the casino is a newly launched one, all you could have done is to engaged with their customer representative to know why your bonus was claimed used when you never make use of it, also, sometimes i do suggest for right interpretation of these offers, especially if we are not sure of the conditions they meant.

You mentioned the casino is famous. It won't become famous if they didn’t make a name for themselves. Maybe it was just a bug. You should have asked support first so they can check it. They surely have a record to verify your problem. If they are reputable, they will give you an explanation and solve your problem. If you really didn’t do anything and they still didn’t give you a satisfactory answer, then maybe you should think twice before playing on that site.

If you think it’s a glitch, you should message them. But if you believe they scammed you, then you should make a scam accusation so the community is aware. There’s nothing to be afraid of if you’re telling the truth, that bonus should reflect if everything is legit. Can I ask you something though? Can you give us a hint if that casino you mentioned has an ANN thread here? If not, then you probably fell into a scam situation.

I haven't experienced anything like this before, but if you wait for a while and the glitch didn't go back to normal you have to know it was a deliberate scam, and you should contact their customer service to hear what they have to say and show you the ticket number that used up the bonus. And you have to be sure that none has your account details. A casino like that can't be trusted, if they are using false pretence to lure people into their platform, they can't be trusted to payout a big win should a gambler win big with them.

Before depositing what you did to get the bonus did you activate the bonus first? Usually you have to activate it first and then after that you will get a welcome bonus, and don't forget to read the bonus rules and conditions.

Not knowing which casino you are using makes it difficult for us to see the bonus promo you are referring to, but with this confusion you can ask directly to their support chat to resolve your complaints.

Haven't experienced this but probably might be a bug and it's okay to tell the name of the site, so they're also aware and fix it. I'm pretty sure that no gambling site will harm their reputation by offering a fake bonus or promotion. I think what you should do, is to check the terms and condition of the bonus as some of them requires you a minimum deposit and I think most of them have a wagering requirements too, so far I haven't experienced any problems with the gambling site's promotions, but they all have difficult wagering requirements.

This is scamming of course, ok lemme ask u, what is scam? Is it not a deliberate deceit to gain something at the expense of others, so this is a pure scam, no more no less.

And as for OP, why not go ahead and make a complaint to customer care and see how they can resolve it

Your first move should be to talk to support and ask how that happened, because you were expecting it to be credited since that’s the bonus you saw when you deposited. It’s still too early to jump into conclusions. This kind of conversation should be avoided unless there’s clear, deliberate scamming from the casino side. If you’re not sure yet, everything you read here will just be speculation, and that can easily mislead other gamblers, especially the newbies.

I have never experienced anything like this in my life. OP, you are not telling us the full story. You should've contacted customer support and wait for their response. The question "Is this a scam or a glitch?" must be asked to the customer support representatives of that particular casino, not the members of this forum. Were you using a VPN? Was your IP address or other info(like e-mail) used by anyone else, who claimed the bonus? Maybe reading the casino's Terms of Service could give you a better understanding of their bonus policy and rules.

It’s possible that it’s just a glitch, and it’s pretty much possible that it was an obvious scam too. Although if such an occurrence happened only once or to one user, then we can agree that it was merely a glitch, but the moment that several individuals or users begin to complain about that same thing, then we can be sure that it’s not longer a glitch or an error but a deliberate act and a scam used to lure users to the casino by using those rewards and bonuses as bait.

Most of these offers have their terms and conditions, which some of us don't pay much attention at, what we seem to often believe is the criterial for the eligibility, while the fulfilment of these criterial we don't pay attention to, gambling could come this way handy if we are not careful, if the casino is a trusted, then they will not denied him of the bonus offer, as long as he is eligible and meet up the conditions demanded, also, in his case, it was mentioned already given, it sounds confusing.

Was the deposit bonus marked used immediately you made the deposit or you found out later that it has been market used? There are some casinos in which the bonus expires after some days from the day of deposit if it has not been used. There are some casinos too where you will have to activate the bonus and when activated, it has to be used within 30 days else it will expire. This is why I'm wondering if your case is either of the scenarios or it was not a case of expiration for which I doubt unless the integrity of the casinos is questionable.

If you mentioned the casino is would have been easy to guide you on how to activate the said bonus, btw their support would be of great help in such situations especially that you have withheld their name.

Fyi some bonuses need to be activated by the player before depositing seen this with winz, fortunejack and several others.. just hope bonuses don't bring trouble for you , good luck.

As many here have already said, it's probably just a glitch.
You already mentioned that they are one of the popular crypto-casinos, if so, I doubt they'll intentionally scam their users especially with just removing the deposit bonus. 
Just reach out to their support, they maybe able to credit your deposit bonus again.
Also, don't ever be afraid to name drop a casino, popular or not. It's the user's right to raise a complaint when a glitch or a bug like this comes up.

I have not experienced thiy before but I have experienced delay before the gambling site gave me the bonus. I remember a site that I registered on some years ago, the site did not give me the bonus until I lost all the money I deposited, then they gave me the bonus. I like the site though because they continue to give me bonus when I am not really active.

Had it been it was a delay, it could have been more better, but having them said that the bonus already claimed when he has not used it sounds somehow ridiculous, it makes me think on whether someone already have access to his gambling account or so, but either ways, maybe he should see to what their support agents will have to give on it.
