Awareness On The Impersonation of Signature Campaign Applicants

I have not fallen prey under this category before but countless occurences have triggered me into making this awareness on impersonation,which has grown quietly.To everyone at most campaign managers and signature applicants who have been manipulated,decided and fallen prey to the above situation.

If not envy and wickedness,why would someone do something like this?Sadly,a couple managers have been mislead, lied to and signature applicants are victims of this.However,It makes no sense mentioning names, I'm only here to bring about awareness and possible means of how to curb further occurrences.

Furthermore, I'm using this medium to call on all signature campaigns and signature applicants to be vigilant and proactive because the victims of this acts are not foolish people people or illiterates but due to one reason or the other ,these people have been decieved and manipulated against their wish. Experience they say is the best teacher,so let's all adhere and learn from this too.

Finally,I don't know it all,but I'm proposing a triple check/verification between managers and applicants which is (on the threads, through Pm's and telegram) if Possible so as to avoid futuristic occurrence.

What? I have no idea what you are talking about. Can you put some examples of that alleged impersonation you say?

I think it's quite difficult for that to happen because when you apply for a signature campaign, you sometimes have to enter your Bitcointalk username or a link to your profile, but if, for example, I apply as ‘xxx1234’, the manager will immediately see that I am Don Pedro Dinero and not xxx1234. I don't know if there's something I'm missing or if this is a conspiracy theory you've come up with with no basis in reality.

I have never heard this case since I join this forum, but my assumption this happen in telegram, discord or through other place, no?

I know there are few campaign managers ask the participants to join their group/channel which is fine, but if the campaign managers want to accept to change the address by not asking a confirmation through this forum, the managers are at fault because they give a chance to the scammers.

After reading the four paragraph post, I have no idea what OP is talking about. I’m thinking it could be a case of account farmers copying the application of other signature applicants but I could be wrong. OP should be clear about the issue he’s talking about.

If you are trying to create awareness, then why not give a couple of examples that you may have encountered to give us a clear picture of the message you are passing through here. The way you created your post makes it even hard to gasp what you are trying to communicate.

The forms of impersonation we already know are mostly about escrow service providers or someone pretending to be a popular campaign manager and contacting a potential brand for advertisement, and all the warnings regarding such have already been posted here before.

I also suspect that there are already three accounts that seem to want to make a defense related to connected accounts, two accounts directly on the reputation board, one on the local board. I became even more suspicious because they seemed to be looking for a loophole to escape surveillance.

From what I’ve observed newbie or users who are hiding misconduct usually avoid entering the Reputation board unless they are trying to defend connected accounts that are part of the same operation.

Can you speak clearly about your aims and objectives in terms of manipulating campaign managers and applicants.

Congrats OP, you have written a long post and said absolutely nothing. If you are going to make a thread on this forum you should at least be clear in what you are trying to say. You succeeded in typing a long post without pointing out any issues. I doubt that anyone understood you mate.
Who impersonated you?
Do you mean someone mistakenly copying another person's BTC address to apply or what?

I have once heard that people send TG message to managers pretending to be one of their campaign participants. Telling them that they are leaving their campaign and the manager will remove the real participant from the campaign, thinking they actually wanted to leave.
When I go this information, I doubted that it will happen. So, with how Op is beating around the bush, could this be what he intends saying?
