I don't know how true this information is. But when we talk about AI, it’s not just about ChatGPT. What is possibly in use are AI military tools like AI-supported drones, AI-powered targeting systems, and other tools that help identify enemies faster and gather sufficient data about them. AI is broad. It is possible for Israel to use AI to aid themselves in war.

I don't believe if such news is true. Even if it is , I don't think they can be able to prove it. However AI can be used for so many things so I also think AI can be used in war to carry out attack as long as it is being prompted to. AI can do so unimaginable thing so it won't be a surprise if it is used for war .

AI is broad. It is possible for Israel to use AI to aid themselves in war.

As a technologically advanced nation, Israel is deploying every weapon in her possession including modern technology to prosecute it's agenda and I don't see anything wrong with that, the likes of America, Britain, Germany, France etc are also doing the same, the sole aim is to protect their territorial integrity against the enemies, so if deploying AI would guarantee the safety of her citizens then it's worth it anyway.

ChatGPT is basically for artificial intelligence generation of texts and can also be used for internet research. It's not a tool that has the capacity to do weapon jobs. That's my own opinion.
It has also not been proven that Israel was actually using an unauthorized weapons as the AI is being said to be projected and launched to attack the Gazas but if it's true, then I believe the UN should have burst out the claim since it's against the Global and International Organizations agreement to do so.
Probably the news pops due to the high hit of Israel on the Gazas during their conflicts. It's also unapproveable to use such AI tool because it could be disasterous.

In last 2 years, at least 7 official employees of Microsoft (including at least 3 AI engineers) are fired after their protest against Microsoft ties with Israel army.

Israel army is working with almost all tech giants (like Oracle, Google, Microsoft).
Why only Microsoft employees are protested then fired? and fewer from other companies.
How the h*ll is Microsoft helping the Israel Army?! How is the Israel army using Azure, which made those employees so angry?
edit: maybe those employees are hunted by devil, or maybe they are doing some conspiracy. But maybe they have seen something which makes them so angry. Something which awareness of it can make anyone nervous.

As my investigations from non official news, Microsoft have been provided at least two cloud based technologies for Israel army:

- Cloud storage for storing sniffed Palestinians’ phone calls (link)
- Cloud based NLP (Natural Language Processing) for Arabic language - language for people of Gaza. (former employee said)

I think using these two technologies Israel army is choosing everyday bombard targets using AI. AI chooses the bombard targets in Gaza, based on their phone calls!
Grok told me Israel have been dropped 100KTon (100*10^6kg) bombs in the Gaza during 2 years. it is somehow equivalent to 5% of total bombs which are used during World War II.
Note that Gaza is small as `365 km2`. think what happen if 5% of WW2 bombs are used in a small town.

As a technologically advanced nation

In my opinion, Israel have 0% contribution on the advancing the tech and they are only users (and buyers) of tech. So i rather to do not call them as a technologically advanced nation. Also i ask them to please do not fool themselves by these fantasies!

Back in August 2025 where barricading themselves in Brad Smith's [vice chair and president office and then got arrested, not sure if it's the same group of staff members but 4 where arrested that day for it.

My question is that what did make them to protest? those employees definitely knew the consequences of protest, which is cost of loosing their job.

footnote: FYI, protesters didn't storm their boss's office. they entered an unoccupied office with absolutely no language/physical violence against any person. At protest time no one was in the office including Brad Smith himself. Protesters where trying to show the banner from window outside. banner was written:"No Azure for apartheid" (you can see here). another protester which is protested then fired, you can see here. I can not see any sign of violence (or storming) in their protest.

It will be laughable to say that they are using ChatGPT for military assistance and they will never get such asssistant because ChatGPT is a generative tool and does not have any special powers to help in covert operations. When they say AI military tools, it means those equipments they are using have been AI improved so it can assist in precision and ease of operation and deployment

Ngl, the AI angle is what really stands out here. Once warfare becomes data-driven and automated, human judgment gets sidelined. Even if one side justifies it as “efficiency,” the moral cost is massive and mostly ignored.

It would have been better if you included one source link that talked about this news you are saying, I have not seen such news online and I really don't think what you are saying is truth however the world is advancing and a lot of things that seems impossible are not becoming possible so there may be a little truth from what you are saying but for the fact that there is also slim to your information I cannot say what you are saying is the truth until I see it online by myself or you include a source link that talk about it with good fact.

One of the facts which i'm relying on, is recent protests of several Microsoft employees.
Protesters clearly did used slogan: `No Azure for Apartheid! End all azure contracts with IDF` with flag of Palestine. or "Your Code Kills Kids" or "Microsoft can't wash off blood". link.

It could be they have AI enhanced weapons, which are being used to target HAMAS combatants. Or they could be using AI programs to try to make sense out of a lot of information they have gathered about their enemy, so they can try to predict the next step and what military tactics are more efficient in guerrilla war.
The most obvious thing is Israel using robots as soldiers, but that is science fiction as it stands today, not even mention we should have ready seen some reports of aunomous robots being deployed in the war against HAMAS, so far Israel have opted to send only human beings to the front lines.

I think you are right. Based on aljazeera reports in 2023,  devastation across Gaza is as follows:

- 62K people in Gaza are died and 112K people injured.
- Almost all of Gaza’s homes (damaged or destroyed)

The confusion came when you thought that chatgpt is the only known AI.  Chatgpt is just an AI majorly for text modelling, there are hundreds of others, so do not think less about AI.

There are many things AI can do in a war.

• For accurate targeting
• For military medicals
• To study movement patterns
