I don’t know for now maybe they have updated their service, when I used XT exchange, their services are very slow, if you make deposit, it will take time to confirm; I tried it when one trader gave me an offer to sign up then for one trading competition like that; I end up leaving the exchange due to how slow their services were then, but I am updating the exchange now to test and give it a try again.

On the spect of p2p, several exchanges do have good ways to encourage more customers by doing the something you said as review; but how reliable are they? No one wants to lose money, that’s why we always want to go with something we know and we are used to.

I think there are several exchanges that offer p2p services, but in this forum I think Bybit and Bitgate have more customers here because of their reputation; but trying others isn’t bad just that you will need to be very cautious.

I dey use the exchange but I never actually use their P2P before because I never link my phone number to the account. But if na wetin them dey do there, then e really make sense, I fit just decide to switch enter there leave Bybit cos those people dey gimme headache and serious one. Can you imagine say Bybit merchants now go tell you say make them deduct money from your money when you wan sell, and if you no gree, them don cancel trade, no be joke oo, like the thing just dey too annoying.

I believe wetin the XT p2p team dey check nah the reviews wey the merchants get, e go help them to decide whether the merchant dey safe to trade with or not, unlike the Bybit them wey no dey use their review them dey do anything.

This can be a good thing but for a truth I don't understand what the exchange are checking. Although say I never use this exchange before but I think them for make am clear to the users so that they go dey sure for watin them dey check before them proceed the trade. Them go say them dey make sure say the both parties dey safe but e no also bad to share details to the traders.

Probably but if really nah watin the exchange them dey check nai he say e dey good. Many p2p vendors get good reviews but still them dey try scam any body way go loseguard.
E dey good sef say everybody give review to the p2p vendor after trade, anyhow you observe the trade, you just drop your own review. Like that scam go reduce small.

I been no know say this people dey do p2p for NGN, e come be like all them exchanges wan allow p2p for our people as e be say the market for that business done big for Naija. Well, any exchange wey wan start this business and wey wan collect better customers go try solve the scammer issue wey many got Bybit and Bitget wey be the biggest exchanges for Naija wey dey do p2p. If you go fit tackle that issue, then people go many wey go avoid those big exchanges wey scammers don take over.

E go good if they fit get that kind better feature way go reduce the rate at which traders can be scammed like the other exchange bybit which many traders there are scamming some victims, and the bybit customers support doesn't take the report of customers very seriously, if they do take reports of customers very serious, then the nonsense that is going on on the p2p section would have reduced but them no they even look people report to take good action. Can you imagine say p2p agent way done get up to 100 negative ratings is still allowed to trade, meanwhile those negative ratings also came with reports from customers but the bybit ignored, that's why I don't like them.

Well I'm not saying they are a scam or similar all I'm saying is for those that rush to do KYC verifications you may wanna think twice and do some investigations if you so choose to use them.

XT is an old exchange if I’m not mistaken it should have been out their since 2018 or 2019 but was not as popular as it is today now, it’s already ranked 20 on coin market cap listed exchanges by volume, what even lead me to the exchange the first time was they are among the few which accept XMR deposit and back then their KYC was not mandatory, I only have to passed it since I was looking for alternative option for P2P since Bybit is turning into a scammers zone.

I haven't heard of any XT P2p exchange anywhere - why does this look like a PR for a dubious website ?

Please someone should check out the website reputation and give us some findings on this thread. I'll be appreciate it greatly.

XT is just another centralized exchange out there that I have made use of earlier before now, and I have not faced any problem with them. I don't know why the exchange is not popular in this forum; they have a large volume, and it's among the top 20 according to CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko, and for their P2P, I think they are getting their liquidity from the Gate.io exchange. I don't know how they are doing that because last week when I used them to conduct a P2P trading, the call I received was from a dude who claimed to be from gate.io, and the amount in question was the same as what I sold on XT. Those are my personal experiences with them.

P2P trading is supposed to be fast, swift, and secure. Well, I wont blame them if, due to the high rate of scam attempts in regular P2P exchanges, they prefer a slow trading experience but ensuring security rather than a fast trading but with high risk of trading with a scammer.

If truly they are running a check in other to prevent scam or other risk factors that may put trading with them risky, then they should do as well to maintain that as others exchanges will so join them in using same or similar features, may be such that reject making trades with those that have bad reviews in the past or any similar cases, we can't afford to continue with the way scammers are using the exchanges to trade and causes us to lose interest on using p2p trade on Bybit specifically.

I think the XT crypto exchange has been since around 2018 to be precise because checking their application logo you will even see a sign of number seven, I think they have been around seven 7 years now.

I sabi XT exchange very well and I no say them get P2P but I no no say e they strong and active reach the way you they talk am and as I no they hear people they talk about am like the way them they bring bybit and bitget matter come because I never use XT exchange P2P before but if them they as the way you they talk then e make sense but however make you still they careful because no were those people no go they for any exchange way get P2P, although one thing way you talk about them way enter my ears na the review way you say them they do to make sure say you get better legit buyer.

What kind of risk control review would the exchange carry out before letting you trade with a merchant? It does not make sense to me at all. The whole thing looks like a publicity stunt to make the exchange appear well fortified and also scare scammers away from the platform.

Despite the fact that Bybit and Bitget p2p has always been a major issue lately, ever since our Dollar to Naira exchange rate started becoming more volatile. But to be frankly speaking, I must say i'm just getting to hear about an exchange named  "XT" to have existed, and don't know how far they have been in the business and if they are actually genuine or not. Because the trick been used on Bitget is the fact that vendors manipulate the price into cutting a certain percentage after a sells trade had been initiated. Or probably chat them up into the chat box and tell them to make full payment, rather than using a new exchange you don't know it's reputation.

I have an account in the XT exchange, but I haven't made use of the exchange ever since I created an account there. I don't know the techniques XT exchange admins want to use to detect the buyer that can possibly scam people in XT exchange P2P trade, but if they can be able to know the buyers that are likely to scam, they will win the hearts of so many people.

The extra step for review of XT for P2P really makes sense.  It slows down things a bit, yet it filters away risky buyers before the start of trade. Only that can cut down the manner of scam attempts faced by people on Bybit and Bitget. They are possibly doing it as a result that they are still growing and want trust, though the result is better protection for users. When they keep it up, it can make their P2P very much safer.

Perhaps this news of XT exchange will make many of us have more options when it comes to how we trade and control our crypto currency, because I must attest to the recent issues that we as traders encounter when using Bybit and having to negotiate for our own funds, while the buyers will claim it's because of the current dip.
I have had several encounters and I must say it makes me sceptical when I intend to trade. Maybe this XT exchange may just be a better choice to try. No pain no gain after all.

I hope dem dey get sanctions for any merchants wey dem nor fit let trade bc of suspicious practices? Abi na just only not to match dem up with buyers/sellers? If dem go sanction dem, e dey betta.

I neva jam any suspicious merchants for Bitget. Na Bybit I dey shine eye well well. By d way, I hope una also sabi sey P2P dey for telegram app itself? I bin use am well last year but wetin discouraged me be sey dem rates nor dey encouraging for my side.
