Does prayer work in trading?

I am a Christian. My holy book says "faith without work is death". The interpretation of this clause is that you must also put in effort to help yourself while also believing that God will help you see results.

No trader should joke with a good strategy. No trader should gamble with his trading capital and hope that he'll pray and God will help him stay profitable. The rules to trading successfully are simple:

• have a good risks management strategy
• be patient and consistent
• don't stop learning and improving
• and control your emotions.

God will help us when we help ourselves and gain skills. The Creator has never advised anyone to sit idle, he has always asked us to work hard to change our fate. You can benefit from trading when you can become skilled through hard work. Not only in trading, but in every field of real life everyone changes their fate through skill.

Every piece of advice you have given to improve in trading is very valuable. To get profit in trading it is important to gain skills as well as practice patience. In addition you should have available funds to continue buying during price drops.

We have no control with the market but if you're a religious and prayerful guy, it might work for you. I do believe in God as well and I did prayed for the market to get better. I guess that everyone who's also have the same belief have done the same thing to make their portfolio's and trade's become better. The unbelievers won't understand that but if they say that they do, it's either they won't push for the disbelief they have or they would say that it's never been part of trading. So, both has respect for the believers and to the non-believers but we have the same agenda why we're in the market and that's to make some profit.

In terms of religion, we believe in the Creator, and we also believe that if the Creator wants, he can make everything possible, so we can certainly pray to the Creator for our benefit, now it is not the case that if we pray, it will definitely bring us benefit. We can only pray from our side and continue to work with the best effort according to our ability, and if we are lucky, we will be able to benefit. The point is not that you can benefit only by praying, here along with praying, you have to try your best according to your ability, only then will there be a possibility.

Yes, as we pray, we have to act on it and what we're praying for. We have nothing against those who are so prayerful and yet, they're not doing anything to make it happen or at least get close to the thing that they're praying for. But you're right, this is for the benefit of each individual who's got their prayer and even if there is no way for us to know if we'll be granted success, we just have to do it regardless we see something is happening or there is none.

Not only in trading, praying in all areas of activity according to my religious beliefs is important because it is part of my efforts, and I do it properly and correctly. Relying on prayer alone will not make goals or targets achievable without other efforts.

In trading, prayer is necessary, but without the support of knowledge and experience, it will not make the goal (profit) achievable. It is impossible if traders do not have analysis and arbitrarily open positions with the hope of making a lot of profit because trading is not a “guessing game” as is commonly thought. Lol

If we are not making effort and just praying we are not going to get much because we have to work, we have to move our mind, hands, feet to go somewhere do something think about doing something is not going to chance much.

In conclusion, the results ultimately depend on how hard we work. I don't disbelieve in prayer, but we must approach everything realistically. Success doesn't come from dreams or just praying; there must also be action, as you mentioned.
And if, for example, we still haven't succeeded despite praying and taking action, it doesn't mean your prayers weren't answered, but rather that your hard work wasn't enough to achieve your goals.

The sign of answered prayer is calmness, relaxation, inner peace, mental clarity and the rest. If trying to integrate these signs into trading, then you should be aiming to get feel relaxed while you are trading and not expecting profits.

Of course prayer works in trading but it only helps the hardworking trader and not the lazy one. Even if you pray, if you’ve not putting in the best effort into your trading skills, you’ll not see it work in your favour but will continue to go against you generally. There is this perception that when you pray, God will help you achieve what you want. God does not reward the lazy person and leave the most hardworking person, you’ll have to show the effort before you’ll receive divine intervention from God to see you through your trading journey. If you believe in god, then the logic is that every time you pray, you are basically voicing your desires. So the logic behind theism is that if God thinks you are good enough to be awarded then you will be awarded, but if you are not, then you won't.

Moreover, we have to realize that there are way more than just one god that people pray to, and even sometimes the same god but different rules depending on religions. Even Christianity, when you pray to the same God, orthodox and catholic and protestants all have different rules. Working of prayers may differ trader to trader as all traders cannot get same kind of experience just after a prayer hence I do see that prayer as just another form of luck factor.

this is a bit funny but in a way i think prayer works but not on the market!!! probably on the trader because prayers can not change the market condition or make the price of the market move positively in your favor in a million years to come but possibly it can give some level of wisdom, patience or even magically in steal some discipline in the trader!, since prayers has to do with faith and belief so maybe it can help the trader overcome some fear during the bad and red days

Besides, prayer is a practice to strengthen belief not a hack to success. While it's good to pray, the right work must be done still and that's why the Holy Spirit in the Holy Bible acts as a guiding spirit to help one remember what one already learnt.
There must be the duty of apprenticeship while starting a cryptocurrency trading journey, before one gets to the merchant traders stage where tacit knowledge is at finger tips and as easy as it becomes, so is how the returns on investment increases and heaps high.

Personally, the fact that comes with trade is nothing is certain. I love the fact everyone is with a different perspective but, what I don’t seem to understand is the part indicating prayers might not work using conflict as an example. If I’m not mistaking the part when conflict starts then you create your peace is designed by God? I really don’t understand why any trader will think after praying everything becomes certain without an effort to win, prayer is good which I agree with op and not just trade rather before starting any activity it’s advisable to pray but, prayer will not predict the price movement neither bitcoin market reason why you don’t have to be overly emotional with being religious.

Prayer dont work in trading. What works is the knowledge of the trader about the market trend because there's no trader that go against the market and is profitable.
Only a naive and lazy trader whose purpose is to gamble in the market will believe that prayer works in trading when the market makers are the decision makers in the crypto trading space.

Prayers and praying exist to calm the mind's anxiety because when outcomes are unknown and there are bad possibilities out of them, the only way to stop overthinking in the past have been praying to some supernatural power to turn the odds to your favour. In a sense its like oiling the almighty to your needs. This has no scientific basis and is completely false if you think it will improve your chances at anything.

You can still pray if you wish to. Just remember that outcomes would remain same.

In my religion, before start all activities you must praying firstly how to make all easily later from working, eating, sleeping and all what did in daily day must start praying firstly. I did at trading in cryptocurrency only for spot trading before opening order position I start praying wish my trading earn profit and avoid from loss, praying is necessary based on my religion and we must start praying firstly before doing activities including when trading.

Considering most important or praying but we must make research and analyst firstly at trading not depend only with praying, its must balance well between praying and our analyst at trading how to avoid trade at wrong moment and investing at wrong coins. Well after trading you want the best outcome so you start praying. Some people have rituals, like OCD people who always clean themselves after touching everything. This help them calm their mind and so does some people who trade.

Prayers works but not in something that has to do with your knowledge and understanding where you would have to devote your time to school and know what you are doing then you sit back saying that you would pray for it to work out, to be sincere such doesn't works because. Prayer is simply an additional component of maximizing effort in anything we undertake, especially in something as risky as trading. I also value the effort to gain knowledge and the best methods for more focused trading. As for things like prayer, I consider it merely a complement. Even without prayer, we can still trade as long as we have the knowledge to execute it at any time. So, don't misunderstand this, because I'm not ignoring prayer as an important complement to anything, including trading.
