Just 3 weeks now till we enter 2026 are we bullish or bearish?

For the past few month now, the bitcoin market has been on the phase of bearish and volatilities keep mitigating on rebound and had not been made clear of what market event we are truly.
At a time, the moment the market gives a rebounding excitement, we are perhaps in no time getting the Fud while speculations keeping going that it is due to high sells is still going on.
Meanwhile, we do see in the news about institutions and federal reserve buying more of bitcoin and holding in their portfolios.
So considering the investors behaviors, the market is really what we can not defined it in the bear or the bull at the moment.

Smart money moves in mysterious ways.

I am in the bullish camp, but I will be happy with both of the outcomes, in fact.

We may have a slow start to 2026 but I feel from Q2 or Q3 it will turn bullish.
That is definitely your speculation and not others speculation for next year, some may be very bearish because from what we know bitcoin usually has a 4 years cycle and whatever goes beyond that 4 years is bearish untill the next 4 years again but who can tell what bitcoin will be next year not you not me either so we are only going to see and watch it do whatever it pleases. for me I'm equipt with options, if it goes up take profit to rebuy, if it goes down buy.

What I see as regards to what price of Bitcoin will do come 2026 Technically, it short term bearish and long term bullish, what do I mean by this?
Bitcoin will still go lower than this current price next year and that'll be first quarter of 2026, January- march/April. Then Start moving back up in the second quarter of 2026, or worse case bearish scenario, it may extend the second quarter, it's not going to be a total bearish year or bullish year from my perspective.

Just 3 weeks now till we enter 2026 are we bullish or bearish?

With a third rate cut expected today in the last 3 months and QT over with QE coming next year, I am leaning towards bullish and want to understand why some are bearish?

2025 has been an average year for Bitcoin and an awful year for altcoins so why would it be again with better macro conditions coming next year?

We may have a slow start to 2026 but I feel from Q2 or Q3 it will turn bullish.

To ask such a question, I'm assuming Bitcoin isn't part of your religion or your freedom. Just believe in it.

I am not confident that any state or country will add Bitcoin to its reserve because we have had more noise and less action. The US have not shown much willingness to add more coins to its reserves that is built on seized Bitcoins. The price might go high because of more ETF inflows and interest rate cuts in the first quater. To be sincere, I am not expecting a bullish 2026.

If we are unfortunate, a quick bullish month that might come close or little above ATH, speculatively, Bitcoin will be more bearish next year.

Pretty good fed meeting today, another rate cut the 3rd in 3 months and the FED saying it will buy $40b worth of treasury bills in the next 30 days - bullish.

Once we get over this obvious manipulation which has plagued the market last few months then we will head up to new highs again, might take 3-6 months but that will fly by , Bitcoin will see a new high next year and we will get some kind of alt season finally.

We know that is bullish news and actions from FED recent months but it's ridiculously to see how Bitcoin market reacts with these policy changes. The market has maintained its bearish reaction and it's like with whatever news and actions from FED, Bitcoin market has kept its dumps recent months.

I am not saying I am bearish about Bitcoin market recent months and in the future, but I'd like to say these latest months are like seriously manipulated by whales and market makers. Hold your bitcoin strongly and wait for their game completely set up, then it will be time for their pump games.

We can not time the market and when their pump game will be kicked off, let's prepare enough money to live with in coming months and make sure having discretionary income for DCA bitcoin.

We are constantly seeing most people giving positive signals about Bitcoin for the new year. But we still cannot say for sure whether the market will go into recession or it will be bullish or what will happen, everyone is still analyzing. However, if we see the market condition in the beginning of 2026, then maybe there will be less chance of leaning towards the bear market.
However, if the market is unstable then DCA should definitely be done, it will be a good option for investment, so no matter what the market situation is, if DCA is done, it is good. We have seen various speculations where many have analyzed that the market will be bullish in 2026, so it may be good to invest now.

At today's meeting, the Fed wasn't overly hawkish, but interest rates remained quite high compared to the ideal level (2%). In addition, their purchase of $40 billion worth of Treasury bonds each month aims to ensure banks have sufficient reserves and reduce pressure on the money market. That's not QE, and with such a small amount of money being injected, it won't have a significant impact on the market. Therefore, you shouldn't set your expectations too high.

In theory, maintaining low interest rates combined with injecting money to buy assets is not necessarily a positive sign, especially for speculative assets. In the short term, there will be FOMO and prices may rise, but in the long term, it's a sign of an economic recession. Economic recessions is not a favorable environment for speculative assets, so I would be more cautious than optimistic from mid-2026 onwards.

Just get ready for long bearish season that will make some newbies think bitcoin will not increase again till it will disappear from market , we have experience such mind set from newbies that will make them think bitcoin is dead, and something like that will definitely come up again next year because the bearish season is going to be long since this year bullish season is the longest bullish season I have ever experienced since I know bitcoin, I believe groups of investors and institutions will definitely use next year bearish season to purchase a huge amount of bitcoin and hold for long term as usual because they prefer long term holding than short term holding because they know long term holding is more  profitable than short term.

Big economic changes will happen because central banks are lowering interest rates and will change their policies of removing money out of the system to printing money, which in past pushes investing in risky assets such as Bitcoin and makes dollar weaker. Some people are however bearish since they fear that market may still be negatively affected by recession caused by previous rate increases, or that good news regarding rate cuts is already shown in current prices, and thus sell news drop will occur. So your idea of slow start in early 2026 and bullish surge in later half of year makes sense, and to ensure success of altcoins in future, new money generated by QE must be big enough to not just flow slowly to Bitcoin but also to other sections of crypto market.

We may have a slow start to 2026 but I feel from Q2 or Q3 it will turn bullish.
How do we tell whether Bitcoin to be bullish in which quarter, when we can't tell how the market will react in a week or month. If we are going to speculate a whole reaction of the market for 2026, i propose a bearish season, we will experience heavier dip that will lead to the bearish season.

If we are unfortunate, a quick bullish month that might come close or little above ATH, speculatively, Bitcoin will be more bearish next year.
Definitely, how do we tell whether an electronic currency will be bullish in a quarter, currently the only experience we have from the market reaction is that Bitcoin may be in a bear run because the market candles are burning like red flames, so now there is speculation that this is due to high selling. Moreover yesterday, i.e. on December 10, the Fed cut interest rates again by 25 basis points, so at the moment it is clearly seen that liquidity is decreasing but volatility is increasing, because market fluctuations are becoming frequent, as a result of which BTC was trading at a maximum of $94k on December 10, but it immediately decreased.
So now if we are to estimate the full reaction of the digital gold market for 2026,it seems to me that although it starts slowly in the Q1 of the year, a bullish upswing may begin in the latter half of the year.

Said funds will probably first fill the holes in BTC, and when everybody will be done with it for this run, they will naturally flow to alts. That's how I see it, at least.

Sometimes it is always very hard to know the direction in which Bitcoin is going, because from the look of things, the price has been struggling, and don't be surprised to see that the market might face a serious bear next year, because bear stays longer than bull most times, and bull is usually. An unexpected occurrence, from now till next year, it should be a season to buy and not to sell because the price is going up and then down, so we can even target whenever it comes below 90k, we buy. It's another good strategy.

And this is not the first time that something like this is happening, so we should be used to all these things by now, and we have to make use of this opportunity to accumulate more bitcoin because a time will come when you can sell and make a profit.

Just 3 weeks now till we enter 2026 are we bullish or bearish?
Personally, for the future of Bitcoin, let's say in 2026, I am more confident (bearish) yes, that's not without reason, I often read that those who have adopted Bitcoin now have started to release it slowly, we understand that the market is very much influenced on the basis of buying and selling, that's rational.

Considering that the current price of Bitcoin has touched $90k, this has deep meaning regarding future market developments, there is a big possibility that Bitcoin will look for the lowest point before going the furthest point, which means that in 2028 there will be the umpteenth halving, meaning that bearishness is not too obvious to consider, that's my opinion.

I do think that most of the whales already got their BTCs out, or doing it actively now, bit by bit.

But I do hope for the biggest ATH coming at the start of 2026.. It's just my gut.

Bitcoin stands strong. I believe that history repeats but since we got Bitcoin Spot ETF approval recently, it's not following its traditional halving cycle exactly but it still repeats that. Probably we all were expecting Bitcoin to be very high at this time this year but it is not, btw it rose in price in 2024 before halving, which was unusual but that was caused by spot ETFs. I'm sure that this time, instead of 2025, we will see Bitcoin's all-time high in 2026. Bitcoin worth $90K, which is an amazing price if we consider that its ATH was $128K. It doesn't fall much, so I believe that it will start rising and in 2026, it will reach near $150K levels, so I'm feeling bullish.

Do you think it will reach a new ATH in Q3, or later?
