The rainbow bands would relate to standard deviations of probability from the average but purely framing sentiment not exact pricing; its very much a rough estimate chart.

It does presume a regular trend and expected outcomes come true sooner or later but Bitcoin by design is reducing its block reward and acts like no other asset in its entirely controlled supply vs demand.

The variation we see most is speculation varying demand between buy and sell.    At present there are good reasons why to expect negative price action but I only really turn negative when we fail in moves to the upside.  So the failure at the ATH was disappointing no doubt and many sell from BTC failing to gain at that point.
Here BTC is failing volume, December appears too quiet and the price is flat mostly also.  Even the slight recovery we have here is lacking volume hence you have to stay ready for future negative developments.

Mostly I see BTC right now as too quiet and cannot be properly judged as its not got any fight in it and without a fight to judge how can I say who will win.

Just 3 weeks now till we enter 2026 are we bullish or bearish?
This is a question which is just going to be difficult to answer, we still in 2025 let’s wait for the year to end before we start taking about what’s going to happen by next year. The question which you asked is just a question thats going to be difficult to answer, nobody knows if we are going to be experiencing either bullish or bearish, nobody knows the next step which bitcoin is going to take, but I will say we should expect both bullish and bearish next year. Bitcoin cant just be pumping from the beginning of next year till ending, we are going to be experiencing bear in market, and we can’t be bearish from beginning of season till ending, we going to experience bullish also.

It will depend, because if history repeats itself, the market cycle will repeat itself. 2026 will be an extremely harsh and brutal year, with Bitcoin likely facing heavy sell-offs and the market entering the gloomiest phase of its 4 year cycle.

Overall, nobody knows what will happen, and predictions can be right or wrong. Therefore, I think what we should do is prepare everything more thoroughly instead of expecting something and then stubbornly clinging to it blindly.
Personally, I've already planned for the worst case scenario, so whether it's bullish or bearish in 2026 is no longer an issue.

Just 3 weeks now till we enter 2026 are we bullish or bearish?

With a third rate cut expected today in the last 3 months and QT over with QE coming next year, I am leaning towards bullish and want to understand why some are bearish?

2025 has been an average year for Bitcoin and an awful year for altcoins so why would it be again with better macro conditions coming next year?

We may have a slow start to 2026 but I feel from Q2 or Q3 it will turn bullish.
I'm thinking that we have a bearish 2026, but there are some news that could change the narrative hence, reversing what could happen.

Like what you said, the FED already ended the QT, and it's only a matter of time until they do print money, but I think they need to lower down the inflation first. QE could have a bullish effect on the market, but the question is WHEN? When will the FED do it especially now that the rate of inflation is at 3%, still far from their primary target of 2%. 2025 really is an awful year for the market indeed. While majority of the coins pumped, it still didn't reach what many are expecting especially those altcoins like Ethereum where it didn't even reach or surpass the $5000 price.

If CZ's prediction of a "super-cycle" comes to reality then your prediction might come true, but until then, I will still believe that 2026 will be a bearish year and we will follow the 4-year cycle.

Yes, you are right. If the past repeats itself, then we may be facing a very bad time. Because in the past, we have seen how terrible the situation has been in the market.

But I don't think that will happen, maybe we won't face a very big fall. Because the market is now very big. When we were in 2022, the Bitcoin market was not as big as it is now. From this point of view, I think that even if the market falls, it may not be very big.

But you can't say what will happen in the future. Because Bitcoin is not under anyone's control, if it was under someone's control, then maybe you could say what will happen. But let's see what happens in the market.

Bitcoin has fallen by more than 34% when it fell to $82k, and the current the drawdown is only around 28% from the ath of $126k. In less than two months, from mid October to now, Bitcoin has fallen by nearly 30% and shows no signs of stopping or reversing. Is this still not considered a significant decline?

Furthermore, despite positive news, such as the Federal Reserve pausing QT and lowering interest rates for the third time, Bitcoin didn't even react. How can we expect it to surge dramatically in the near future?

I am not sure if it will surge in the near future, we could be in for a few more months of down and sideways action.

I really have no idea, none of us do. Bitcoin could be $75k by end of year or $100k. I am hoping for $100k but if it is $75k then so be it and we should just continue to accumulate until the good months return next year.

That's right, none of us know what will happen in the near or distant future, and anything can happen. Bitcoin could reach $75k or $100k before the end of this year, both scenarios are possible.

Similarly, 2026 could also be a bull market year, or we could enter a bear market if history repeats itself. Therefore, I support your idea of continuing to accumulate, but you should have more than one plan instead of just thinking that prices will rise again next year. That may or may not happen.

I will not say emphatically that 2026 will be bullish or bearish for Bitcoin, but with some undeniable factors, one could judge what it would likely do.

The first factor is Institutional investors. Institutional investors will play a vital role in the sustainability of Bitcoin in 2026. They are die-hard holders, and will determine whether the coin will fall or not, or the extent it would fall, if at all it "must" fall.

The second factor is the 4-year Bitcoin cycle. Don't let us forget this cycle, as it has played a significant role in Bitcoin tradition. 2026 should be the first full year of the bearish cycle, which makes me think that Bitcoin may not grow next year, even if it doesn't fall so much.

But you can't say what will happen in the future. Because Bitcoin is not under anyone's control, if it was under someone's control, then maybe you could say what will happen. But let's see what happens in the market.

The Bitcoin network is not under anyone's control, but the price of Bitcoin is different. The price of Bitcoin depends on demand, cash flow, macroeconomic conditions, geopolitics, and, as we all know, it is quite sensitive to news. Just a single statement from an influential figure like Trump or a regulation from the United States can have a significant impact on the market.

Therefore, market trends in the coming year will largely depend on ETFs, the Wall Street financial institutions. These are the people who are dominating the market through their immense power and financial resources.

We don't know what will happen next to the market, but many of them do.

I am quite optimistic that if this QE and interest rate cuts continue to be gradual and interest rates can be below 4, this will get a lot of capital injections into the market, both stocks and Bitcoin and other markets, this bullishness will come very large, it may trigger a bubble wave because of the amount of money that will be printed to be injected into the market.

Altcoins will be the same, altcoins have already gotten the bubble with the number of altcoins that continue to grow every day, so the capital that is in it is divided with many altcoins, altseason will not happen again, bitcoin will continue to dominate.

The market is in a state of unpredictability right now. Before now, everyone would've given 2026 out as bearish for Bitcoin; seeing that 2025 is post-halving year. However, right now no one can comfortably tell where price will head immediately. If I were to hazard a guess, I would say first and second quarters of Bitcoin in 2026 will be better than the last quarters of that year. I expect Bitcoin to complete its bullish momentum it's finding difficult to achieve now in 2026 before nosediving.

We may have a slow start to 2026 but I feel from Q2 or Q3 it will turn bullish.

Seeing the decline that has broken through the psychological level of $100k, i am very unsure that Bitcoin will rally again in 2026 to reach its ATH and set a new high. Even if the price does rise, it will not reach $124k again. As for altcoins, prices will undoubtedly suffer even more. This is the toughest cycle for altcoin holders, who are waiting for an altseason that never seems to arrive (it appears to be just around the corner, only to vanish again). I believe we must accept reality and shift our mindset to focus solely on the long term. That is the best way to calm our emotions amid the turmoil in the crypto market.

If I were to hazard a guess, I would say first and second quarters of Bitcoin in 2026 will be better than the last quarters of that year. I expect Bitcoin to complete its bullish momentum it's finding difficult to achieve now in 2026 before nosediving.

My prediction is that history will repeat itself, but with some delay compared to previous cycles. I also predict that the bull market could last through the first quarter of 2026, but I don't think Bitcoin will reach the targets we expect, such as $150k or $180k. In my opinion, even if the bull market isn't over, Bitcoin can only reach a maximum of $130k.

Most of 2026 will likely be a bear market, and I also predict that the market will bottom out in the final quarter of that year. Furthermore, I also think that the bear market will remain very intense, it won't get any milder as many people think.

I'm not sure where to point to again with so many prediction stating that Bitcoin will be bullish next year, that could be true or not because if the history was not about to change, we are meant to be experiencing price fall by now till next year but yet the price is not showing a huge downward momentum, so it might spike.

I think bitcoin will boom in 2026. Because it can be seen that the cycles of Bitcoin are staying in the same place for several months. Since Bitcoin came down to about 82k from ATH, now it is currently standing at 90k. But the biggest impact for Bitcoin is war. Although many problems have arisen economically at the present time, so it is heading towards the fall of Bitcoin in various ways. And at present we do not see much bad news. So expect Bitcoin to move upwards very soon. If bitcoin really booms in 2026,Then I will benefit a lot because I am already holding some bitcoin.

I think Bitcoin will create another all time high in 2026. The thing is that when everyone is bullish then it's hard to see the market pump. Because market do not want to make everyone rich. Everyone was bullish for the bull year 2025 but it proved wrong.
Now I think market will surprise us in 2026 when we see the real bullish momentum in both altcoins and Bitcoins.

Don't know what Bitcoin's condition will be in 2026, it could be bullish or bearish, there are too many possibilities for this to happen, because macroeconomic news, regulatory developments, increasing adoption, all of that could be sentiment which could influence the direction of Bitcoin's price. but even though more people say that they are bullish on Bitcoin, I don't see that we are going there, on the other hand the market could turn bearish in 2026, even though we see that many people decide to invest but many large investors are still cautious about the market and the lack of positive news can play a major role in bitcoin price movements. so even though I am optimistic that Bitcoin will continue to grow in value over the long term, in 2026 it could be a bearish moment, or at least sideways.

In May 2026, we will kick Powell out, then cut interest rates, and make everything great again. That's my entire expectation for 2026... :) There are elections in 2028. No central government in the world wants to go into elections with high interest rates...

Even if economic data isn't good, even if indicators don't cool down, even if aliens attack the world... :) I predict they will find a way to lower interest rates, and I'm making all my investment plans accordingly...

Since Bitcoin is part of the global economy, it doesn't seem right to me to evaluate it separately from all developments. If things are going well in the world, cryptocurrencies will also do well. If things aren't going well worldwide, I don't think it's very likely that Bitcoin will positively diverge from the markets...

Whatever the market situation and Bitcoin price next year, we have to plan it optimistically. If a decline occurs, we can plan to buy. Even if there is an increase, early next year might not be a high surge. There is still a possibility that, at least at the beginning of next year, we might see Bitcoin prices go back to $100,000, provided that a deeper decline does not occur for the rest of this year.

Powell does not have absolute power, raising or lowering interest rates is decided by vote. Replacing him with someone close to Trump would only increase the likelihood of interest rate cuts, but wouldn't guarantee anything. Furthermore, if inflation rises again, how will they lower interest rates?

Don't forget that Bitcoin surged from $15k to $126k despite the Fed raising interest rates and remained at high levels for an extended period. Therefore, don't focus too much on interest rate cuts and expect that this will be the sole factor driving Bitcoin's growth.

This insight about quarterly return of bitcoin is a good data to predict whats gonna happen

As it happen usually when Q4 of the previous year bitcoin has weak performance, it tend to perform better at the Q1 of next year. Then again there's no guarantee it will play out like that.

we are only a few weeks away from entering 2026. the question is simple now are we bullish or bearish. i personally lean bullish. because the macro picture is slowly getting clearer. over the last few months we have seen rate cuts one after another. qt is close to ending. and there is also a chance qe comes next year. historically these things have been positive for risk assets. 2025 was an average year for bitcoin and a genuinely bad year for altcoins. that is why many people feel disappointed. a lot of the bearish sentiment is coming from that. but the market does not always repeat the same story every year. it moves based on macro conditions and liquidity. i think the start of 2026 might be slow. there will be fear and confusion. but if liquidity comes in properly and there is no major macro shock then from q2 or q3 the trend can change. patience is the real game here.

The market has matured considerably, but compared to other financial markets, it is still not truly large and fully mature. Even the US stock market, with a market capitalization of over $70 trillion, could hardly avoid losing more than 50-70% of its value during the COVID-19 pandemic. With a total cryptocurrency market capitalization of just over $3 trillion, of which Bitcoin accounts for $1.7 trillion, it cannot yet be considered fully mature.

If our economy faces a recession in 2026, it would be no surprise if Bitcoin fell by more than 50-70%, or even more.

Although Bitcoin has matured considerably since many years ago, we shouldn't forget that the world still views it as a speculative asset. They don't consider it a safe haven, they would not hesitate to massively sell off their bitcoin holdings if the economy goes into recession. Given the current economic situation, we shouldn't rule out that scenario.
