Ironically, if one ultimately wants to take advantage of the whole marriage, one would need to sell the wife, which is of course politically incorrect within the civilized world.
But I understand the comparison OP is doing here, it is kind of funny.

Though, I would not say it is an universal law which applies to all alternative currencies, there are coins which are not Bitcoin and have proven themselves to be good marriages, like Ethereum, Solana, Cardano, some would even say Binance Coin would be a good wife (but there are regulators which consider such coin to be an unregistered security).

Take care of Bitcoin and Bitcoin would take care of you (protect your key and your keys would save you), do not cheat on Bitcoin ( never take alt as an investment, take profits and run).

An analogy that made me smile a little, yes. A metaphor that brings a happy atmosphere. What's certain is that expensive still means quality, while cheap carries inherent risks and is easily shaken.

Well said op. Altcoins should be treated as side-chicks . They can be risky but highly rewarding too when the opportunity meets them. These opportunities are usually temporary. So if you are going with altcoins, take profits when you have the chance to and don't try to build a future with it like you would do with bitcoins.

Bitcoin is the ideal coin for a long term journey and very suitable for a "wife". It is relatively stable compared to altcoins and has built years of trust.
