Failure or not

Some of us right now will be thinking that this whole year as been a failure simply because he/she couldn't achieve what plans they set for there selves the not realizing it is one of the process that we talk about or hear everyday
We just look at others life and be like we failed again forgetting the fact that a smooth road to success was not promise at all not in this life time
Take a look at the life of athletes and tell me how you go the whole year without winning any trophy but those that makes them failures no right just as you thought
If you play for 10yrs and win just four years those that means the rest of the years were all failure?
So where ever you found yourself right now just know that you are doing great and discipline those not need the whole world approval before it manifest when it as reached it limit.

Yes , it is very possible for one to spend the whole year without achieving anything or his or her common goals, and there's people whose this year was their best year so far because of the achievement they were able to make and that is how life looks like,life is never a straight lane .

But there are some certain things that can leads to one 's inability to achieve his or her common goals.

Look one might have done enough but there is some many things we have to always put into consideration (1) circumstance that beyond our control .
(2) How good enough did we apply in other for us to be able to achieve that our common goals
(3) wrong move towards the achievements of his or her common goals .
(4) Presumptions is still the factors that can contribute to one 's failure in his or her achievement..

So after considering all this factors and you didn't fall into any one of it them you avoid comparing yourself to those who made it through that same year you didn't make it, maybe it's not your year and wait for your year... because there is no competition in destiny..

How possible is it that a person can spend the whole year without achieving ANYTHING? If you're talking about the level of success not reaching what and where was targeted I would agree but that nothing entirely was achieved, imo, I disagree. The problem is that people focuses so much on the big things neglecting the little things achieved as nothing except when it's the bigger picture target that was attained  that's when it's an achievement.

Maybe if we can learn to appreciate the little things in life which we don't value and putting them together as a step forward to the bigger goals then most of the worries of achieving nothing in the entire year would be eased, and replaced with some appreciation for what's ahead.

I totally agree with you, I don’t think anyone can go through a whole year and achieve nothing. Like you said people just look at the big stuff and forget that small wins still count. Not every achievement has to be loud. Sometimes it’s you learning Patience, figuring yourself out or just surviving through a tough period. Those things might not look huge but they still show growth.
And for real, even learning a new skill or  picking up a better habit is an achievement. You’re not a Failure because you didn’t hit some big goals, Life is step by step. When you pay attention to the little things you’ve done, you’ll realize you actually achieved more than you thought.

if there is one big lesson i have learn when it comes to the conversation of success! is that the path to it is never smooth, so you surely come accross several huddles along the way to achieve success and those huddles are just part of the process and not achieving a goal does not mean one has failed, it is just like normal sport even, like take for instance if a football club does not win any trophy for a particular season it does not mean they failed becuase that season was not wasted at least they were able to learn and gain some experience together so their next season will even be better if they capitalize on the experience they gathered the previous season. what matters most in the struggle for success is just to stay disciplined, consistent and focused

Kinda feel like we’re too hard on ourselves. Not hitting every goal doesn’t make the whole year a flop  it just means life is doing its thing. Even athletes don’t win nonstop, and nobody calls them failures. Progress isn’t always loud or pretty, but it still counts. We’re all figuring it out, and that’s enough.

Setting yearly goals is very important to move forward in our lives but it doesn't mean we can complete all the goals we set for that year, we may have worked hard but the results are not always on our hand and this happens with everyone so if you feel that you are a failure then don't be like that.

Even if you keep failing year after year, you are still progressing if you failed better in each attempt.

As long as there's life, there's hope. Anyone that's unable to achieve his goals this year should know that this isn't the end of life or the only year before the world comes to an end. You can still continue with your goals next year and correct every mistake that hindered you from achieving your goals this year. God is the one that gives us the grace to be successful in our goals.

In life, the rule is simple, you win some and you loose some and sometimes, you don't necessarily have to win or loose, you just enjoy every step of the way. At the start of the year, I had a lot of positive goals I had set up as things I was going to accomplish before the year draws to a close. For those goal, I achieved some and failed at other but then, I have learned through it all to take it in good faith because that's what maturity entails.

If you look at it, we are the ones that calls it the end of the year, as long as you have life, the things you failed to accomplish at the end of this year, you can still accomplish it next year, that's life for you. There's no need to be pressured at all.

If you plan your life well, it will be difficult for you not to achieve something that will make people to respect you or hail you for your success, if you are talking about a year you are talking about the whole twelve months you can use to clear some areas for farming and start cultivating crops that will make you and your entire family not to experience hunger in the land, anyone that fail to prepare ahead of his or her future, such person will definitely experience failure because he or she refuses to plan for the due season, and you can experience such behavior from lazy human beings that hate hand working in the community.

Comparing our lives with others can't be helped. But we have to avoid doing that because it will not give us encouragement if we're seeing others as a competition. We use the better lives of others as an inspiration and so we can thrive to make our lives better. Just keep on doing what you believe will give you a better life, you will not see the results in the beginning of it and that's normal so don't be discouraged when you see no results at all for as long as you know that there will be a good result of it, do it. There's always a time to move on and try again from the start.
